ive been waiting for this game for quite some time now, do the devs have an approx. time window they're aiming for release or when they think it'll be done?

nice

There's always such a shortage of enjoyable co-op games, so it's always a pleasure to see someone focusing on that. Looking forward to trying it. :D Keep up the great work!!
DragonK 25. okt, 2013 @ 2:55am
Needs enemies and some kind castlevania/zelda items you pick up throughout the game to make it more exciting. Then I would be sold.
Gabriel 20. okt, 2013 @ 5:30pm
I'm really picky when it comes to these kind of games, but I love the art style and the fact that it has co-op. How I love co-op!

@graywolfe42 A trailer would be nice, but that video is essentially 18 minutes of gameplay. A little silly of you to skip watching it.
ハル子 5. okt, 2013 @ 5:51pm
not bad
graywolfe42 7. sep, 2013 @ 9:13pm
You should really put a video up that isn't someone else reviewing it for 18 minutes. A trailer preferabbly. I didn't even watch it. However, the screenshots gave me enough of an impression for a yes vote.

Looks amazing, it would be awesome if the online co-op came out right.

I played on both palettes and it doesn't bother me either way. I actually like the color added.

@ phatcatholic

Mhmmm. I Love the music and graphics and gameplay. I am just hoping for a really good storyline.
the big blue 6. jul, 2013 @ 12:12am
i loved the gameplay, but i hope there is more of a story.

@MegaMasterX Interesting, works fine for me. Is the webpage available? Is the game the only thing not loading for you? Thanks.
MegaMasterX 4. jul, 2013 @ 3:03pm
Is the demo unavailable now? I can't seem to access it.
Space Piranha 24. jun, 2013 @ 8:28pm
I'm so excited to play more! This game is awesome :D
phatcatholic 1. jun, 2013 @ 5:35pm
this looks better than any gameboy game i've EVER played!
Otyyr 6. mai, 2013 @ 2:48am
I really like watching these 2-D platformers to see what the devs will come up with next. I honestly thought this whole genre was dried up years ago, but I am continuously proven wrong by games like this. I love the idea of the 2 levels built into one simply by adding a playable foreground/background. Voted Yes.
RUBBA  [skaper] 22. apr, 2013 @ 8:50am
@wgillett182 Thank you for expressing your concerns. You aren't the first that had preferred the Gameboy palette. However, we did not make the change solely due to looks -- the game became extraordinarily difficult to differentiate between the foreground/background layers. You constantly felt like you were just being tricked into dying... It just didn't feel right. You'll be happy to know that we felt the same way as you about the attacks. We have changed them drastically since the current demo release. They are now capable of a short combo attack (which looks awesome) and just feels great. We also felt the foxes seemed a little out of place. At this exact moment, they are not in the game. We will either touch them up or replace them in the future. Cheers.
wgillett182 22. apr, 2013 @ 8:24am
Just played the demo expecting the gameboy colour palette version, have to say I'm not a fan of the step the games gone into. The addition of the giant fox enemies I feel looks bad and doesn't really add the the gameplay. The attacks aren't responsive enough and the throwing dagger attack just feels a bit clunky and limited. Gameboy palette version had my upvote, this one a down.
Laserbeak43 18. apr, 2013 @ 3:31pm
I'd love to see Japanese language.

Tera_GX 30. mar, 2013 @ 11:27pm
Earns my vote. I don't want the GB palette however, but the screenshots appease that concern.
Super Smooth Groovy Gravy 22. mar, 2013 @ 12:15am
Does this game still have Gameboy Color graphic as an optional or it was taken out?
PeteUplink 19. mar, 2013 @ 7:48am
Looks good! Voted for this one.

I hate platformers but... There is beautiful, non-intrusive graphics >< Upvote!
Sorry for my english :P

Being a 1st gen Gameboy owner (still have it in fact), I'd love to play this.
Xiang 22. feb, 2013 @ 12:08am
Looks really good! Honestly, I like the gameboy style graphics better than the color ones. If you could make it so we could choose between color nd no color, that would be great :)
RUBBA  [skaper] 21. feb, 2013 @ 9:09am
@Caelistas Thanks for stopping by and giving your opinion. I'd recommend you look at any of the screenshots or the announcement for proof that the game will, in fact, have colour. I'd be excited to hear from you why the game is so generic so that we can perhaps improve on that in future updates. Lastly, I'm pretty positive grayscale does not mean what you think it does. Cheers.
Caelistas 21. feb, 2013 @ 3:59am
How about some color hmm?

This would belong better on my old friggin gameboy with it's current color pallete.

It looks very basic and generic.... + greyscale really? There are a LOT more platformers on greenlight that are way more deserving.

dont like arkade or 2D-games with 1980-feel on PC
fits better on tablets/phones ..therefore NO steam

Wow! We just hit a whopping 1,000 favourites! A huge thank you to everyone who has checked out our game. Much love.

Excellent concept, eager to see it hit steam.
Kris Viking 4. feb, 2013 @ 2:54pm
Great Gameboy look.
Julia 3. feb, 2013 @ 3:01pm
I looked at some of the pictures and I saw some color, but the video had no color, can you choose if you want color or not? Because, I think I prefer no color.
RUBBA  [skaper] 1. feb, 2013 @ 12:32pm
@Rabid Goose D'oh, sorry about that! We'll try and include a sound option in a future demo update... For now, try hitting the "0" on your numpad. This is a shortcut for mute. Also, the + and - keys will increase / decrease volume. Cheers, and thanks for the comment :)
SOLDIER 1st class 1. feb, 2013 @ 7:59am
hmm this looked really boring at first but tbh, now im kinda interested :D ill give it a vote
also, demo is adictive as hell but is there a no sound option? im playing at work here! lol
workingstiff76 28. jan, 2013 @ 5:10pm
At first I thought this would be a Super Meat Boy clone, but the foreground / background mechanic is interesting - upvote.
RUBBA  [skaper] 26. jan, 2013 @ 3:26pm
@Rigulel Press Enter to pause the game, then you can switch between Single / Two Player mode. It even gives you a nifty little control graphic in case you aren't sure of the keys. Cheers.
Rigulel 26. jan, 2013 @ 8:52am
Will it have a two player mode?
banksby 24. jan, 2013 @ 1:01am
If you are hoping to release this on Steam, then you must push for an online co-op. In this time and age local co-op doesn't cut it. With that said, awesome looking game. Upvoted.
RUBBA  [skaper] 20. jan, 2013 @ 11:10am
@ukkosfaith Well said. Thanks for stopping by, friend.

That's funny, I tend to feel that way in general about modern games. Be aware that your opinions are not facts and many of us do not share them or care for them.

I am a Steam user because of games like this. And it is games like this that I anticipate. And I hardly buy a lot of the modern games on this service except when they are severely on sale. And I personally don't go to Greenlight projects about brown, hyper-realistic first person shooters and complain that they're brown, hyper-realistic first person shooters. I simply, ignore them.

And even in general I don't turn down modern games nearly as much as some of you seem to reject retro games. I, for instance, do anticipate games like Tales of Xillia and Super Mario Galaxy 2, which are fairly modern. I think it is fairly closed minded to turn down a game just because it is "retro".
