I love that you've found a way for characters to talk directly to the player instead of the usual proxy character.

I'm hoping the Brandon bundle aside from supporting a great cause will also bring more traffic this way. I have the game, it's fantastic, it really really needs to get greenlit, I'm looking forward to gifting it around. And as an aside, months after finishing the game I still can't stop listening to the soundtrack, it's just brilliant.

Jonas Kyratsez is a master of storycrafting through games, the addition of this game to Steam will be a refreshing change from the keyboard bashing types that can be found almost everywhere in Steam nowadays.

This game is so raw and creative! Doesn't need any fancy graphics to be good, just an awesome story and cute art. Yeah, would buy this.

Saw this game on notonsteam.com

Haven't played the demo yet, but the music was enough to grab my attention, and I deeply enjoyed the description of the game. Off to the demo I go!

This was one of my top games of 2012. Can't believe it hasn't been greenlit yet. It needs to be on Steam.
Killyou de la Muerte 15 déc 2013 à 22h55
I will buy anything favorably compared to an Umberto Eco novel, and a pair of monocles to go with it.
danecarney 8 déc 2013 à 2h59
Played this game, it's absolutely beautiful. Would buy it again it's poignant. One of the few games out there that leaves you a better person when your'e done.

Just finished game. It's really amazing. My graditudes to authors. If you'll be greenlit I definetely buy TSWCE one more time.

I bought this recently for myself and as a birthday gift for a friend. The Sea Will Claim Everything is a game that does so much right; the story, music, and art style are all fantastic. And the world isn't a place you're likely to forget about anytime soon.

Please upvote this game and help bring it to Steam!

amazing

Just beat the game, played the whole thing in a single sitting, could not put it down. Ended up needing a walkthrough to find 3 obvious things I missed, but loved it all the same! :)
HotsForTrots 7 oct 2013 à 11h31
wow. looks beautiful, so thumbs up!
strangenoise 5 oct 2013 à 14h22
Picked it up some months ago from your website and loved it - I finished it with a sense of having played something extraordinary!
JonasKyratzes  [créateur] 3 oct 2013 à 11h32
I'm told it runs on Linux with Wine. I want to make a wrapped version people can download both for Linux and Mac, but haven't managed to do so yet. If I do, everyone who bought the game will get it, of course.
macroexpand 2 oct 2013 à 15h52
Just purchased through notonsteam.com/HumbleBundle.

What about Linux?

Indie devs gotta stick together! Go Greenlight! :)

brought here by the Not on Steam sale!

How is this not Greenlit yet? Amazing game!
Smannesman 16 sept 2013 à 10h01
Right I missed this when it was in a bundle, still looks great.

yaay for reading text walls. upvoted!

This game is worth it for the Moddey Dhoo alone! Gorgeous art, decent puzzles, a surprisingly touching and touchingly surprising story, and characters that you will remember for at least a few days. Hooray for the Lands of Dream!

I truely adore adventure games like this. Really wish more people were on my boat. :L
JonasKyratzes  [créateur] 22 juil 2013 à 4h15
No, Gene Wolfe was not an inspiration. I recently read The Book of the New Sun and utterly adored it, but I hadn't read it when I wrote this game, and they're quite different.
Bonder 17 juil 2013 à 5h58
OK so, to the devs.... my memory is fuzzy but, did Gene Wolfe bear any inspiration for this game? The sea will claim.. and during dreams...
kell4077 11 juil 2013 à 22h13
Every great once in a while I come by here and see how this is coming along.

Seriously folks. This is the people who brought us The Infinite Ocean. Hit those upvotes.
capappy 27 juin 2013 à 17h45
i love the music in this game. it is worth buying just for that. and though i do own a copy of the game i would very much like to see it on steam. mostly because my computer has a hard time with games that are direct download, some crazy computer error or something, but it never saves games properly when i do not use steam.
V2Blast 16 juin 2013 à 19h17
I think the art style throws people off the first time they see it... And, well, it didn't immediately capture my interest based on the screenshots. Probably doesn't really capture the essence of the game, though.
DEMSHELLS 6 juin 2013 à 7h10
wat? this looks like it was made by a 10-year-old. no thanks.

We're up to 28% again now.
shmmrname 18 mai 2013 à 2h33
Awesome! Please let this come to Steam.
TJF588 11 mai 2013 à 21h58
There have been freebies through Steam in the past (and not that microtransactions action), though they weren't all too visible, but have a stickied list in the Forums.
JonasKyratzes  [créateur] 11 mai 2013 à 13h08
@TJF: I don't know. I have trouble imagining a game like Desert Bridge ending up on here - not that it wouldn't be fun. Plus, they're free games, not commercial ones, so...

@Don: Yes, it is.
TJF588 6 mai 2013 à 14h26
I may have asked this at some point in the past (definitely wanted it, before now), but if this game gets Greenlit, would you push for your others to be additionally hosted through Steam (TSaSSTotHaDB, particularly, personally)?
Don Ruffione™ 6 mai 2013 à 9h36
is this game "english only" ?
JonasKyratzes  [créateur] 6 mai 2013 à 5h54
Hi everyone! Glad you're enjoying the game. If it does ever come to Steam (currently at 25% of the way to the Top 100), I will do my best to get people Steam keys, if it's at all possible.

Bought it as part of the Indie Royale bundle! Did not disappoint.
Piehands 5 mai 2013 à 10h13
Fantastic game, easy worth £10
GaryCXJk 3 mai 2013 à 13h47
malfesto, Desura is also one of the places where starting indie game developers can get some exposure.
Llenwyth 3 mai 2013 à 12h56
This game is AMAZING!!! Seriously, i bought it in the last indie royale and it was the best experience I had with an poit and click adventure in years.
malfesto 2 mai 2013 à 22h33
I don't wan't any old crap from Desura coming to Steam. Desura is an unregulated hellhole...this is one of the few exceptions. Love the attention to detail. I can't imagine how long it must have took you to add the text for so many in world items. It's a yes from me. Good luck!

Got this In the latest IR like how many other people? Anyways, gonna give it a go and kudos on getting this far! Can't wait for your steam debut!
