probably do better on moble market then PC. looks fun, but it be great for something to fiddle around with on the phone while out and about not home sitting at the laptop or desktop. I'm sure this would do better on Phones.
Kazuia2300 Aug 4 @ 11:33am
Looks nice

Sounds like very cool music but I don't know if the game might not be too repetitive.

smashing fun.... sorry i dont see it looks to repetetive and boring

more varaety
Evilmonkeyvongo Jan 16 @ 3:00pm
Interesting, but lacking in depth. I'd give it a try provided you ratchet the difficulty up and make maps where you have to get from point A to point B, almost like a VVVVV style platformer but with heavy puzzle aspects.

Really dig the simple yet engaging look of the gameplay and LOVE the music!

It looks very simplistic. Could you show off some of the powerups in your screenshots etc? For now, it doesn't look worthy enough.
INDIE:J Games Jun 11, 2013 @ 12:56pm
First I thought this is gonna be crap, but the gameplay mechanics look very addictive, + 1 from me - consider a little makeover of the smashing-effects though.
Kaizo Apr 14, 2013 @ 6:08pm
The gameplay seems to be soo simple , I fear a lack of depth to it
The Chosen One Mar 19, 2013 @ 9:54am
very simple concept, i guess i would buy it if it was 1 euro max
Blue Jan 17, 2013 @ 11:36pm
Thumbs up for the music :)
Fenrir007 Jan 4, 2013 @ 6:47pm
If its not a single screen game, then show us more screens and I will consider voting for it.
The Had Matter Dec 18, 2012 @ 3:55pm
Other modes, other maps, creeps not spawning close to you, other characters, powerups. I can see a lot of potential within this concept.
il signor m Dec 13, 2012 @ 3:06am
Maybe you SHOULD reveal something about "other modes".
Zaimad Nov 18, 2012 @ 2:42am
Thanks for the answer. The game really looks good and now there's actually something to look forward to. Thumbed up.
Kevin Drew  [author] Nov 17, 2012 @ 11:15pm
@zaimad We recorded that footage before complaints about this being a one-button game. It was a one-button game, and it worked very well that way. But if you guys want arrow-key controls, then fine, we'll give them to you.

And no, this is not a single-screen game. And that's not because you go to bigger arenas, I'm referring to other modes when I say this. In other modes, without revealing too much about them, I can just say that it involves going outside a single arena. :)
Sir Onyx Nov 16, 2012 @ 6:38pm
reminds me of... SUPER CRATE BOX
Zaimad Nov 11, 2012 @ 9:38am
I'd like a better explanation on what "Use your arrow keys to navigate the screen" actually means, when on the gameplay footage (and in the description) it is more than evident that you can only move in one direction and your seemingly only attack of leaping for great justice against enemies that may be squashed is the only apparent control of the character.

"Of course they're not all single screen." <- you said to someone commenting about the screen. If it's because you can have a bigger 'arena' to smash aliens, why not have a zoom out function instead OR in addition?

And yes, this explanation alone will let me decide whether to thumb up or down this greenlight entry.
Kevin Drew  [author] Nov 2, 2012 @ 9:21am
+1 to what akcaye said!

As for muffinman, I'll just reiterate that we have two endless modes to complement the 21-level story mode complete with leaderboards and achievements, boastings 4 locations, 6 enemies, and an epic final boss battle for the fate of the universe! You can also collect power-ups and unlock playable indie cameo characters along the way!
Jetpck~ Oct 20, 2012 @ 11:40am
xD simple but i love it
1objection Oct 16, 2012 @ 11:42pm
I'll upvote, but please read your discussion.
rEZ Oct 16, 2012 @ 4:00am
bit too basic for me maybe add some more detail / elements ? more exotic enemies?
akcaye Oct 15, 2012 @ 2:56pm
Churgethoth: What's your point? That it can't be good if it's not in the first million that you see? If your going to criticize, please do so. Whining about other games is not really helpful. And I can't even comprehend how you don't understand why you see more retro style on greenlight than in mainstream games.
Zoid Oct 14, 2012 @ 10:05pm
This has to be about the millionth fucking developer with "pixel" in their name with yet another "8bit retro style graphics" that I have seen on greenlight.
Kevin Drew  [author] Oct 13, 2012 @ 9:30pm
Like I have said before, that's exactly what we're doing. 21 levels of incredible fun, power-ups, bosses, leaderboards, achievements, unlockable playable character indie cameos, and so much more! :)
Canis Ferox Oct 13, 2012 @ 4:40am
Great music, nice graphics, fantastic art style. However looks like it would get very boring quickly, you should keep the aesthetic style while expanding on the gameplay.
<fluffy> Oct 12, 2012 @ 12:01am
Hopefully it's more than just one room, one character, one greedy money grabbing looking grin o.o
screams! runs through door like a cartoon!
Akaya Oct 8, 2012 @ 12:12am
From the video it looks like a one button game, what else are you planning to put into it?
Kevin Drew  [author] Sep 15, 2012 @ 10:34am
Sorry Jason, didn't mean to write tap in the description. Controls have since been updated. :)
Jason_c_o Sep 14, 2012 @ 3:04pm
Tap the screen? I don't think that will work on my laptop.
Lynxer Sep 11, 2012 @ 2:32pm
Never said to remove indie cameos, 'nor that they're a real selling point. My point was about the REAL advantage on having this game on PC over iOS.
il signor m Sep 11, 2012 @ 9:15am
You mean gameplay will be different in iOS and computer versions?
ND Sep 11, 2012 @ 8:11am
Yeah I noticed the missing sides, but figured could be invisi-walls or wrapping screen. Thanks for the clarification. I recommend adding another gameplay vid where you explore a bit more.
