Thanks again everybody, please do grab it on Indie
Royale! More specifically, to answer iskayer's question.
If the game finds it's way onto Steam, then unless Valve says "NO" to me getting Steam keys, you WILL get a Steam key through your IR purchase. I guess one only other condition on this would be that Indie Royale is still in business (since I don't get a customer list from them, it's up to them to distribute the keys.)
Sorry if that's a complex way of saying "YES" but I can't promise something except to the extent that it's under my control. =) Just being responsible.
But again I can't promise something that is actually out of my control =)
I hope the bundle gets you a lot of votes. Have you thought about adding Steam achievements if the game gets greenlit?
And I'll bet you've got both of those. The game seems to be doing well on GOG (that's where I have bought it). I hope you get to steam.
People often say it looks better in motion, this is because it's very fleshed out in terms of the variety of animations, models, sound effects, etc. It's simple but it's consistent and detailed. As a result, when taken as a whole it feels a lot better than you might expect.
Without adopting this simple style there is no way for me to flesh everything out to the extent that I have.
I will keep working in this style. My abilities are always improving, though, so hopefully in the future I will be able to meet some of you guys half-way. I like nice graphics and art as much as anybody, really, and although it might seem strange to you, that is exactly what I'm striving for. I don't want "crappy graphics but good gameplay"; I want both, but as a cohesive and integrated whole.
In the future you will get to see if I ultimately succeed.
Sorry but no, i'm just being honest. -1
I will buy many, many copies of this
