Big fan already! One point: In some situations it seems to be almost impossible to avoid the enemy bullets, so your player needs (and has) a lot of health. I personally like games where I can have a "perfect run", but I´ll go for it anyway. Good luck!

I dont think the Madworld approach of making a black and white game with red blood as a contrast works in a plataformer. I also personally prefer noir that has a minimalistic pproach to color instead of completely black and white.

Not a bad game idea but graphically it goes back to 8-bit nes, on a b/w screen no less.
Graphics are not everything of course but a total lack of aestethics is a turn off.
It takes "noir" a bit too literally, black is all you see on the screen.
With a minimum of colour added, i would've voted for it as it reminds of old console games.
I didnt vote against, just passed.

You really got to love them shotguns, 'cause they're so cool and make gore all over the place.
That and there seems to be no other secondary weapon :(

I'm upvoting though, but I expect that at some future point (post-release) you provide an update to have more secondary weapons (think castlevania for this).

Gameplay seems weak/uncoordinated.....why the double jump mechanic in this setting? Perhaps its just for the video, but you seem to just walk through enemy shots as if it was nothing; why is the lifebar so big?
