Hey guys, just noticed that this has been released! I had no idea, but I'll be picking it up immediately. I hope that it's been a success for you so far.

Thanks to you all for your continued support! We're hard at work spreading the game to get enough people interested to see it greenlit, like with the beforementioned Groupees bundle, getting it on more stores (now on Desura, ShinyLoot and FireFlower Games, with more on the way).

@WeAreNotAlone69: Like @Starmine said, just voting does not make you directly purchase or own the game. What it does is raises the chance that it will get released on Steam. What you can do, however, is get it from one of the other places mentioned above or on our website (www.theworkingparts.com/residue).

@Chaz: Thanks for your support and interest! The game itself is finished, though we may make minor tweaks to it and, if possible, add more languages in the future. If you liked the demo, I think you'll definitely like the rest of the experience! :)
Chaz Jul 27, 2013 @ 1:53pm
How goes it in developement? Hope all is going well and not under too much stress. Can't wait to see this added to Steam. The demo was cool.
CthulhuSaves Jul 27, 2013 @ 3:00am
"Vote for this game on Steam's Greenlight, & get a free Steam key when it is Greenlit!" Seems fairly straightforward to me. If all these Groupees Greenlighters have been lying all this time, I'll never support another indie again.
Starmine Jul 17, 2013 @ 10:26pm
Q1 - Yes

Q2 - No, because u didn't buy the game
WeAreNotAlone69 Jul 15, 2013 @ 7:46pm
Bought the game.
Have a question about GreenLight process.

In various places on the net I see authors/developers, and or webpages with links to games being considered for the Greenlight process. Alot of those stating if you VOTE for xyz game you will receive a STEAM Key.

Q1: To vote for the item, I log in and click the "YES - Would you buy this game if it were available in Steam?" button, and then maybe follow up with a comment, right?

Q2: Will those that click (YES button as noted above) receive STEAM keys once item gets "GreenLit" ?

Like we said in an announcement, but worth mentioning here as well, you can now get Residue and 9 other Greenlight games in the new Groupees bundle: http://groupees.com/bagb3?live

And when Residue gets greenlit you'll of course get a Steam key!
Chatumalito Jul 8, 2013 @ 11:06am

I'm sure a lot of work went into this but I would never spend money on something that looks like a high school project...

This actually looks pretty nice!

Have an upvote, but yeah definitely start your next projects as cross-platform from the start ;]
MD Tron Jan 22, 2013 @ 8:50pm
This game looks sweet.
sara_bear Jan 20, 2013 @ 8:05pm
Well it looks better than it did a couple months ago...
The Working Parts  [author] Jan 11, 2013 @ 1:25am
@YOBA: Right now we're focusing on Windows, since our resources are limited. We love all platforms, though, so who knows what happens!
If nothing else our future projects will be more cross-platform right from the start, since it's a bit of a hassle to port a complete game to a new platform.
YOBA Jan 9, 2013 @ 9:48am
Any chance of Linux support? I really love adventure games :(
