I personally love this game. Not every character should be a shooterguy defying the laws of... everything. People need to keep in mind that the character is sick and can't really function at 100%. I think the game works perfectly from a gameplay standpoint, slip-sliding and all.

maby you should let the player use a knife or rocks to defend themselves. like they can use the rocks to destract the creature and maby use the knife to make it hurt it a small amount

can someone help me? on the beginning of the game the watch at about 9:15am is start to make noises to make me crazy, can i somehow disable this? or i will give this game back >.<

Sorry but, i feel like i spent my money on nothing...

Let me tell of this game's failings. Lag spikes at random. Momentum was a reall bad choice as a mechanic: Sliding was a major issue.Felt like this character wore blocks of ice on his feet. Combining damage and disease as one thing (fever) is dumb, I fall over and suddenly my fever increases. It becomes rediculous that once cured, you can leap off the highest mountains and survive without a scrape or hinderance. Lying about your "hunting cat" is pretty lame. It teleports and walks under water along the floor (including the ocean), definitely a spoiler sign there.
Waste of money and frustrated gameplay, yeah I finished it out of spite so I had the right to make an educated comment rather than base it off guess or others'.
Overall, not happy for a game that raised my expectations quite high with its promises.

Great game with unique features, awesome ambient, good places to explore.

Hey IonFx, I just wanted to let you know: There was a recent update to Miasmata that Steam downloaded a few days ago. Before the update: low details, 1080p, 20-30fps. After the update: medium details, 1080p, 60fps, high anti aliasing. Kudos and thanks for the work - it's very smooth now! :-)

cant remember name of show maybe it was xplay or something? we changed from charter to dish so new channels not familiar.. we pay less and can watch on more tvs and dvr :) it was reviewed well online too

I saw there was an update for Miasmata. Are the achievements working now? I cant see what got fixed but the update was kinda big so I guess you fixed alot.

I like this game, bought it on Steam SALE, but performance is really bad. Even on low details I can't get more than 20-30fps. Can we expect some engine optimization in the near future? Specs: Phenom II X4, 8GB DDR3 1600, 7750 GDDR5

this game looks really cool, and I want to buy it, but I'm afraid my computer won't run it... If there a demo on some site? I don't want to pirate it or get it off some shitty scam site like www.freesteemgams . com or something. I want an official demo. Is that possible?

This game is great with atmosphere and realisticness... in SOME ways. I found myself falling 2 feet down and triping and then tumbling for about 10 seconds more and then get a FEVER from it?! That makes NO SENCE TO ME, AT,ALL. And your mentaly retarded character doesnt know how to swim for more than 10 seconds untile he LITERALY starts to drown. A 5 year old could stay above water and not drown longer than this guy. Whats that? Theres a way to make your guy stronger? Well HOW?! OH YOU EAT A PLANT AND THEN YOU CAN SWIM FOR MORE THAN 10 SECOND? OK, THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENCE!!! Overal great atmosphere game TERRIBLE survivale game.

2 guys made this and its such an original idea that they pulled off amazingly using an engine they coded themselves. Whys it crap? It desnt have guns or some BS stick to your bloody run of the mill clones then that charge $60 for the same thing over and over just reskined and using the same engine

So second play-through 3 in game days at 3pm on the boat didn't even run into the creature was surprised. the Beta patch works amazingly highly recommend getting it 1.9 gig download worth it really optimized the engine was struggling to run on low before but now got most things on high. Keep up the good work IonFX.

So are all the animals intended to be illusions? Reason is I can pick up and throw anything at them and the object passes harmlessly through them. This is with all animals including that big horned cat. Also why does this Cat teleport so unnaturally, not really great idea for it spontaneously be where you go no matter direction? (And yes I've seen it teleport away after I hid in house). Or for that matter why does it "stick" to the ground when moving through water (it doesnt swim like the character can).

The learning curve on this one is pretty steep and the game feels like youre playing it with lead fingers, but other than that its a very creepy game with amazing detail.

It's a shame there is no other games like this so i could rely on the dev of this for making good games similar to this and id buy them.

The Engine miasmata is built on has some rather large problems. Namely that it's really not optimized, so you won't get great fps at all...It's still a fantastic game, but if you can't handle low fps rates then this isn't the game for you. BBut in any case...this game is STILL amazing.

This game looks amazing along with beautiful scenery! That creature... was epic. I want this game, and I will get it!

This game is in my top three games of the last few years and easily my favorite since Portal 2. If anything about it looks interesting to you, you should buy it. I only wish it was longer.

The game needs a way to write on the map, notes of some sort. Or the ability to place down symbols to indicate herb groves of sorts.

i made 2 healing medicens and it only gave me 1 why is this ?

My system can handle a lot of graphically intense game. But it just can't seem to play Miasmata without lag, why?
