Just played this on iOS and I must say I've never played a touch screen game with such good controls. Also didnt run into any bugs unlike the first game which was riddled with em when I bought it =P

Been hunting the game's badges on Kong until my save data decided to vanish for daring to load up CQ1. Great game, definitely willing to pay for a full-fledged version - and a couple of € "as is"!

@randomnine Any updates on the game? When do you estimate the PC version?

Nice game.

Tyjenks: Sorry, that was a bug I fixed in the 1.01 update. If you still have that save it'll fix it, if not, it shouldn't happen again :)
Tyjenks 10 mai à 15h57
Currently trying it out on Kongregate and I am stuck on 3-6 with no exit. [sad face]

michal_sw 28 mar à 3h58
I saw beta test on kongregate, but only K+ can play, why not posting on kong for everyone? :)
randomnine  [créateur] 25 mar à 13h32
The iPhone version took longer than I expected, so everything's back a few months. Give me time to finish up the phone versions and I'll get on to making sure the desktop version's the best available :D
michal_sw 20 mar à 13h54
Soon 1st quarter of 2014 will be over and no news from author. :(

michal_sw 12 fév à 1h24
No news and from what you said, you have 1 and half month to release game. You will do it as planned or with delay? :)

Hey, I'd love for this game to have early beta access! A bunch of games are joining up on that since it helps development with the income, and it looks like the version you gave to Jesse Cox is pretty decently poslished (enough for players to enjoy, while they fully understand the game could go through a huge overhaul). I know I'd enjoy spending some hours into it just as-is, the demo was just not long enough! Do please consider this, I'm eagerly waiting for the full realease of this game. :)

Also, any idea if you'll be implementing the new trading cards feature?

Thank and I hope you get back to me~
Celebrimnar 29 oct 2013 à 19h26
Very nice! what about CQ1?
michal_sw 22 oct 2013 à 2h05
~10$ and i probably will buy it :)
randomnine  [créateur] 17 oct 2013 à 12h38
Heya! Thanks for pointing out the release date overrun - I've fixed it. I'm really sorry I didn't catch it earlier. The game is definitely still in development and will be coming out early next year.

Vertex/BurntMilk: thanks - I'll make sure there are a few resolution options at least for the final desktop release.
Genjitsu [JP] 13 oct 2013 à 16h27
Oh my goodness...

The dev has been playing GTA V for the last few weeks.
Kyur 13 oct 2013 à 8h28
Thanks for the demo, I liked it and would buy if the price tag is reasonable :)

also I dont buy into the whole idea of not having a single moment in the so called hectic life of devs, like they have less time available per day to them than other people on earth, ya to not have enough time to make one singular response in one very simple moment of humility to simply say "hey guys its coming, dont worry!" or "no it is not coming!" there is no excuse other than being not alive or no longer having a conscience.
Everything is Batman 7 oct 2013 à 21h07
yea mr developer guy man person team/people who have already accepted money from guys like me, umm yea just say yay or ney its not that hard. this year or not whats it gonna be?
sc_snell 5 oct 2013 à 16h25
Its GREAT to see Cardinal Quest has been upgraded. I was hoping it would be.....voted for it to be on Steam............keep up the good work!
.Milk 4 oct 2013 à 2h59
Completely agree with Genjitsu.

There has been no word from the developer at all regarding the games' release. It is now October 4th when the text above says "September release". I've been really behind this game and anticipating its release since i saw the above video. If there is no word from the developer in the next day or two i will not be purchasing this game. So if you read this Mr. Developer, based on the lack of any type of promotion for your game, you really can't afford to lose potential paying customers for completely stupid reasons.

I hope it wont have to come to this.
Also add more resolutions for window mode like vertex said.
VerteX 1 oct 2013 à 11h36
I don't much care for the two graphic options: Fullscreen or Tiny-Ass Window. You don't have to support every resolution for windowed mode... but at least add scale buttons for like 1x, 2x, 3x. That should take like 5 minutes to add. Assuming the display module was put together even semi-compitently, there should be no manual refactoring involved.
Genjitsu [JP] 1 oct 2013 à 3h01
I don't appreciate the developers own enthusiasm for updates.

We are ready to buy this product, please keep us posted, especially when it says release : september...

Adding "tentative" before "release" would still be better than being in the dark.
s_d 30 sept 2013 à 21h31
Linux support, thanks!

Looooot!
PotatoTomato 29 sept 2013 à 10h29
YES. i remember i found cardinal quest one while searching for hidden flash gems. this is truly worthy a steam release. not only because of its retro and rougelike charm but because its fun and does not deserve the Mobile device release some people might think it needs!
PhoenixS 29 sept 2013 à 7h35
This looks great! Good graphics and interface.
Mordoc 28 sept 2013 à 5h31
Very good demo. I hope it'll be on steam soon!

I played on Kong. REALLY well made in comparison to the first. Additional structure really helps this go around. Definitely willing to buy this one too.
Shadowblades 1 sept 2013 à 23h34
I used the Blink Scroll and it put me outside of the city walls, causing me to become stuck and unable to progress :(
Pelerin 31 août 2013 à 21h02
Is release still planned for this month?

If it was FTP I would buy. Right now, I have RotMG
the sore loser 22 août 2013 à 11h25
I just tried Cardinal Quest 1.1 (it has been sitting there for 2 years!), and it's quite addictive due to the randomization and the items and spells. I forgot where I got it from, so maybe there is an update. Googled it and found that there is a version 2 coming. Awesome. Might buy this. Please post updates frequently regarding the development of things.
Ashrak 18 août 2013 à 18h53
I will buy this right away, I played the demo and I really liked it :)
KombatWombat 15 août 2013 à 17h02
