Great puzzle and grate re-"use of elements"
tu7650x Feb 17, 2016 @ 6:26pm
Excellent brain teaser. Took me a while to figure it out. This is the best kind of puzzle. Love your work Fluppy!! Oh and nice visuals too. :steamhappy:

Nice, took me a while though.

Just fantastic.

The plural use of elements are something I really enjoy in puzzles. Nice thing player has to think the same room several times. Really nice design, well done.

Yeah this is an old map, but I just solved it now. The final "aha" trick ( switch the boxes! ) is fun to figure out!
Sleter Jul 12, 2014 @ 8:11am
Excellent test :p2chell:

Read my profile before reading the rest of my comment!

Advanced momentum maneuvers, sacrificing cubes (Mevious's "Cache" and others trained me well with this interesting concept), and knowing what cube to place on what button are the techniques I used to solve this puzzle. I even found the hidden room! Great work! Had me thinking a lot but without stumping me for a long time.

The fizzler near the exit is wierd. I shoot a portal on the fizzler beam and not all of it flashes. I guess obscure Hammer mistake. No biggie. Just funny looking.

Try my SP map?
Try my COOP map?

Difficult enough to enjoy solving; not too difficult to be painful! Thumbs up!

STUNNING MAP, omg this was perfect. Excellent use of portals and the elements, you certainly didn't lie when you said '100% PURE LOGIC IS REQUIRED FOR THIS MAP'. It's a crying shame that there aren't more like this. Definite 11/10 from me!
Mister Original Aug 28, 2012 @ 8:18pm
i have portal 2 cheats so if you want to play with ma add me
Mathey2009 Aug 28, 2012 @ 9:59am
Awesome map here, keep it up!
Thanks for this map, I enjoyed it very much!
Want to try out the hardest map in the worshop?
For all of those who were waiting for my newest map (and for all of those who are new to my maps),here's a link to my newest map called "Cubelessness 2":
- Testing: Fizzlers/Cubes/Buttons/Funnels and their applications in the field of science.
- Difficulty: Hard-Very Hard
- Estimated time to complete: between 5 minutes and 1 hour.
If you know the first part of this map ("Cubelessness": http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78146075) then you will find this second part even better, it is harder and more elegant, with no fancy tricks or unconventional methods here.
Thanks again
jbustter Aug 28, 2012 @ 5:03am
good map and good puzzle, the only complain i have is that you have to be to much of a ninja to get to the top part of the puzzle, that can be really annoying since you have to do it sevral times and its easy to fail with that.

Beautiful map. I did hate it though before I solved it.
Kreuzstein 5.P Aug 28, 2012 @ 12:56am
One of the most enjoyable, yet challenging map I've played. Great job! =)
Raimack Aug 28, 2012 @ 12:30am
great !
I Kinda Fail Aug 27, 2012 @ 6:56pm
Great job! I'm sooo used to seeing maps on here that fail for one of several reasons:
1. A first grader could solve them, or they're ridiculously short. (Shoot portal, cube lands on button, done.)
2. They're RIDICULOUSLY impossible, like shooting 8 portals while in midair on a timer, moving yourself around in midair, redirecting lasers with a cube and taking down turrets, all in 10 seconds.
3. They're imperfect/confusing; you can miss jumps launched from an aerial faith plate, need to land a jump PERFECTLY, or you can't find anything.
Yours was challenging, yet you could see it was doable... All you had to find was the how. If you have everything you need, it only takes 5 minutes. But this one took me an hour. Good job.
A Tree Aug 27, 2012 @ 3:58pm
That... was BLOODY difficult... but I loved it ALMOST as much as I hated it! (That's a good thing)
Not even sure if I solved it the right way.
Not sure if I care.
Le Petit Mort Aug 27, 2012 @ 3:32pm
• Hammer level;
• 'Overgrowth' aesthetic well realized;
• Tight geometric design;
• Custom intro;

• None significant;

Brilliant - loved it - do more, lots more :)
Fluppy  [author] Aug 27, 2012 @ 12:35am
@presto668: It is your fault that you've played my map :D I admit my map is based on logic use of elements, but that's the way I like to do puzzles. I am sick of all these shitty PTI maps with easy puzzle. Too bad people don't give a good rating to my map, they can't appreciate effort I've put into detailing my map.
Fluppy  [author] Aug 27, 2012 @ 12:33am
@TheKanjiWolf: you have to use Hammer World Editor, not Portal 2 in-game editor. Go to your library and download Portal 2 Authoring Tools beta (it is under "Tools" tab). Then look up for some tutorials, there are hundreds of them.
presto668 Aug 26, 2012 @ 3:26pm
My brain is leaking out my ears, and it's all your fault. >:(
La Polydipsie[FR] Aug 26, 2012 @ 2:32pm
How do you make maps like old aperture and how do you not start with the portal gun? I kinda want to do this for my maps but never can figure out how it's done.
Fallen One Aug 26, 2012 @ 12:09pm
Clever, Clever, Clever... DAMM GOOD MAP! call a WAMbulance cause my brain is bleeding . :))
Jade BGE Aug 25, 2012 @ 8:18pm
Wow. That was hard for me. How people think of things like this is beyond me, but enjoy trying to figure it out. Thanks for the fun.
NightHawk8P Aug 25, 2012 @ 1:19pm
Fantastic =) Definitely doable =)
Fluppy  [author] Aug 25, 2012 @ 12:14pm
@Austin007: I don't know which jump do you mean, but you should be able to do all of them.
=Axton= Aug 25, 2012 @ 11:12am
At the first jump, I miss the platform by an inch, is it doable?
Fluppy  [author] Aug 25, 2012 @ 7:02am
@Si-Man: That was exactly my goal! I wanted to make a really clever puzzle.
PsyMan Aug 25, 2012 @ 6:46am
ahh, higher votes now coming in, Excellent
