@woah: Oh wow, that's a tough question. I definitely did it in more than one go's... but I knew what I wanted to do. I'm gonna say, a total of 6 to 8 hours I think? About 2 to 3 hours per section, where the middle section was easy and maybe took 30 minutes? The last section was also easy to make because I knew exactly what I wanted to make. The first one was the hardest and took the longest.

How long did it take you to make this map approximately? Asking for a friend.

The first chamber was fun and logical. The second one was dull and repetitive.

And we did all of them :) nice.
LPChip  [tekijä] 5.8.2016 klo 4.02
Hey Talisac, glad to hear you were having fun. The others are definitely worth a try too. :)
Talisac 3.8.2016 klo 15.27
Solved with Polux. One mainstream map, efficient, quite fun ^^ we will try the others

fun map
LPChip  [tekijä] 3.10.2014 klo 13.50
Thanks Stafa. All my maps in this series have that. I am planning on making more co-op maps, but given that I now use mods, I can actually add proper checkpoints. :)
Mustafa 3.10.2014 klo 13.16
This was a really good map. I really liked how if I died in the later section, the jumpads took me to the section I needed to be. It got around the inability to add check-points to the map. Great job.

Very engaging, unlike most coop maps I've played.

Hey StraightFlame! Good to see you here on steam as well. Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you like the maps. There are 6 in the series, and I will make a 7th and possibly more. Just not sure exactly when.
StraightFlame 19.5.2014 klo 7.03
So, i played the first two maps in this series this weekend, and lemme tell you, they are pure awesome. They are probably the most fun "vanilla" (as in, not Hammer) Portal 2 maps that i played. Not just because of the challenging, thought-out puzzles, but also because of the myriad of stupid things you can do that kill your partner. The checkpoints were also a big plus, especially since we were unaware of their existence and thought we were screwed once one of us died. By the way, my co-op partner thought it was awesome as well.
LPChip  [tekijä] 6.5.2014 klo 8.14
The map has been updated. Only a very small update. No need to replay the map unless you want to.

Nice map we ended up doing the 2nd room wrong over and over, finally solved it after 40 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxL6zxtZx8g

Thanks :) Glad you liked it. :) Note there are 5 more in this series. :)

SweetZombiJesus, thanks for playing my level. Unfortunately it seems that you got stuck because that room does have multiple solutions and you tried to achieve the rather hard one. It is very well solvable using normal portals and logic, but does require 4 portals to do so (both times)

Do note that if you rotate your portal 90 degrees and stick it against the wall like that, it always work.
SweetZombiJesus 20.6.2013 klo 21.42
The room with the large emanciptaion grill that covers the wall was extremely tedious. Having to set up the portals using trial and error to match your velocity was too time-consuming and it relies on the portals working, which in these situations, they sometimes get buggy. On more than one occasion the same portals would fail to keep the velocity of the person going through.

In general, having a puzzle that requires you to use trial and error gets tiring. I prefer a puzzle that you can just think through.I have very rarely quit a puzzle, and usually only because it was late, but this time I stopped because I was just bored of having to set up the same portals over and over.
LPChip  [tekijä] 20.3.2013 klo 9.39
Hey Krutor! Thanks for your video. Its always nice to see people play it, and you did alternate solutions for 2 of the 3 parts which is nice. I did see something

Thanks for sharing. :)

Ah, I see. I didn't think of that. I'll look into a way to fix that.
hobbs 20.11.2012 klo 9.11
at the first part.

We got the cube across. we got one man across.
so he was at the position where we both need to step on the red buttons.
but I was stuck at the beginning still figuring out how we both get across.

we restarted the map and eventually figured it out
LPChip  [tekijä] 19.11.2012 klo 17.51
I've designed the map so that you cannot get stuck. If one of you get behind the fizzler, then there's a faithplate to bring you back.

How did you get stuck?
