Thanks Stafa. All my maps in this series have that. I am planning on making more co-op maps, but given that I now use mods, I can actually add proper checkpoints. :)

This was a really good map. I really liked how if I died in the later section, the jumpads took me to the section I needed to be. It got around the inability to add check-points to the map. Great job.

:) Thanks for the comment wildgoosespeeder. Glad you liked it. :)

Very engaging, unlike most coop maps I've played.

Hey StraightFlame! Good to see you here on steam as well. Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you like the maps. There are 6 in the series, and I will make a 7th and possibly more. Just not sure exactly when.

So, i played the first two maps in this series this weekend, and lemme tell you, they are pure awesome. They are probably the most fun "vanilla" (as in, not Hammer) Portal 2 maps that i played. Not just because of the challenging, thought-out puzzles, but also because of the myriad of stupid things you can do that kill your partner. The checkpoints were also a big plus, especially since we were unaware of their existence and thought we were screwed once one of us died. By the way, my co-op partner thought it was awesome as well.

The map has been updated. Only a very small update. No need to replay the map unless you want to.

Nice map we ended up doing the 2nd room wrong over and over, finally solved it after 40 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxL6zxtZx8g

SweetZombiJesus, thanks for playing my level. Unfortunately it seems that you got stuck because that room does have multiple solutions and you tried to achieve the rather hard one. It is very well solvable using normal portals and logic, but does require 4 portals to do so (both times)

Do note that if you rotate your portal 90 degrees and stick it against the wall like that, it always work.
SweetZombiJesus Jun 20, 2013 @ 9:42pm
The room with the large emanciptaion grill that covers the wall was extremely tedious. Having to set up the portals using trial and error to match your velocity was too time-consuming and it relies on the portals working, which in these situations, they sometimes get buggy. On more than one occasion the same portals would fail to keep the velocity of the person going through.

In general, having a puzzle that requires you to use trial and error gets tiring. I prefer a puzzle that you can just think through.I have very rarely quit a puzzle, and usually only because it was late, but this time I stopped because I was just bored of having to set up the same portals over and over.

Hey Krutor! Thanks for your video. Its always nice to see people play it, and you did alternate solutions for 2 of the 3 parts which is nice. I did see something

Thanks for sharing. :)

Really enjoyed that brain teaser!

Thanks a lot, that was great fun...
LPChip  [author] Nov 26, 2012 @ 1:42am
Ah, I see. I didn't think of that. I'll look into a way to fix that.
hobbs Nov 20, 2012 @ 9:11am
at the first part.

We got the cube across. we got one man across.
so he was at the position where we both need to step on the red buttons.
but I was stuck at the beginning still figuring out how we both get across.

we restarted the map and eventually figured it out
LPChip  [author] Nov 19, 2012 @ 5:51pm
I've designed the map so that you cannot get stuck. If one of you get behind the fizzler, then there's a faithplate to bring you back.

How did you get stuck?
hobbs Nov 19, 2012 @ 2:34pm
had to restart, one of got stuck at the first part, only one of us got across then he fell down

Glad you like it Marie.perry89 :) I had much fun making this chamber.
marie.perry89 Oct 15, 2012 @ 6:03pm
the firstone i mean, looking forward to solving the others :)
marie.perry89 Oct 15, 2012 @ 6:03pm
That was a brilliant test mate :) me and my friend really enjoyed solving it :D
The Mattinator Oct 14, 2012 @ 4:09am
ok thanks
LPChip  [author] Oct 14, 2012 @ 3:58am
Open the game, go to community chambers, create a new test chamber. From the file menu, check co-operative game, and the entrance will change to a co-op one.
The Mattinator Oct 13, 2012 @ 10:53pm
how do you MAKE a multiplayer map?
LPChip  [author] Oct 13, 2012 @ 5:13am
I've updated the map. The faithplate should no longer kill unless you're extremely unlucky and find a way that I couldn't.
LPChip  [author] Oct 12, 2012 @ 3:28pm
Ah, I'll look in to the faithplates. Great to hear it was fun :) I had a lot of fun testing this myself too.
NightEye Oct 12, 2012 @ 2:50pm
One of the faith plates to return has killed me by smashing me into the wall/ceiling :p
I loved the map. Very nicely done, and a fun ending with the balls!
LPChip  [author] Oct 12, 2012 @ 10:03am
Press the green subscribe button on this page. Then open portal, go to community maps, play co-op maps. Then it will appear in your queue after about a minute tops. Select the level, hit play, and on the next screen you can invite your buddy.
Damngineer Oct 12, 2012 @ 3:52am
Hey, sorry, i am new here. How to set it and play with a friend?
LPChip  [author] Aug 19, 2012 @ 4:58am
Updated the map. :)
LPChip  [author] Aug 19, 2012 @ 3:40am
I've considered this, but the reverse funnel just gives too much possibilities to solve the puzzle easier. I've also looked into a way to transport the player back without making it too obvious. Maybe I should add faithplates. Hmm.. I can do that.
Stagger Lee Aug 18, 2012 @ 8:25pm
I recommend having a button so that you can reverse the funnel to bring the other player back in case you miss transferring the cube to them. If you do drop the cube in the water, the other player has no way back to help get the cube when it respawns except by killing themself and respawning. Sure, he can do that but it's better when players don't have to kill themself in a map to solve it.
