This mod is epic, so thank you very much. My only thought is that its strange that you so enjoy fantasy, that you have created this awesome mod for us, yet other sorts of fantasy, you take so seriously you'd quote it on this mods description page ... ? Thanks all the same, but Ill only be endulging the fantasy of Skyrim, while keeping fantasy out of my perception of reality. Good day.

You can still level up and gain perks based off of any skill you choose to increase
Arthur Sataine 11 Ara @ 5:13pm
Like the Oblivion and Morrowind, am I now forced to only utilize my selected skills for level up? Or can I still level up and gain perks based off of any skill I choose to increase?
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 27 Kas @ 12:57am
@Bob Bob The Gamer: Thanks for showcasing both my mods on your channel :) I'm glad you liked them enough to review them. It's not everyday I get to see people's reaction to my mods, so thank you for that!

@kaseylea1994: You can add the book by console command if it doesn't show up. Type in "help a new beginning", note down the ItemID of the book then type in "player.additem [ItemID] 1"
kaseylea1994 26 Kas @ 2:55am
What do you do if you lost the book...?

@Orange: The Skyrim Launcher is the icon you click on your desktop. It looks like this when open: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0ozq7vae6oA/T5KbMTreRYI/AAAAAAAAAhA/QU9Lm6J7D3c/s1600/skyrim_launcher.jpg

Festive | Mʀ. øʀangΣs 24 Kas @ 4:38am
where is the skyrim launcher @syclonix sorry i'm new with mods :/
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 24 Kas @ 12:51am
@GoVikings1: Yes, it's compatible with RAS. I made both mods to be played together :)

@Orange: Click on the Skyrim Launcher -> Data Files. Look at the status bar at the bottom and wait for Steam to download the new mods you subscribed to. After they've been downloaded make sure their enabled in your Data Files (it has a check mark next to the mod name) then launch the game.
ILikeTurtlez 23 Kas @ 9:12pm
Is this compatible with RAS?

Perhaps try move CCO after/beneath the Alternate life mod in your load order. Or you can start your game with your Alternate life mod then save then enable CCO.
Sam♣Kramer 22 Kas @ 7:31pm
It doesn't let me choose class with the Alternate life mod? Anything to fix this?

Hi there! The "A New Beginning" book doesn't show up in my inventory. I have RAS and some of your other mods (love them btw). Might they be loading in the wrong order or something? Would love your help!
TWS Rpg Blaster Rpg 3 Kas @ 6:35am
Cool mod
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 28 Eki @ 7:24pm
:) glad you like it feels

UPDATE:
I LOVE THIS MOD
Except a lot of my skills were greatly reduced in level (Lock picking was brought all the way to lvl 5 from 47) and many of my other skills were effected too. I'm chill with this as I play a lot any way and I'll level back up soon enough.
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 21 Eki @ 6:17pm
Use the book in your inventory called A New Beginning if you want to respec your character.
Big Daddy 18 Eki @ 5:46pm
ok this mod is super cool but i was wearing armour while i was picking my new race and such (I tried removing it but without going through the new character options first) and i dont like my character and cant seem to fix it....Help!
NukeAwesome NC 17 Eki @ 3:28pm
Ah, I see now. Thanks.
The Mad Mac 3 17 Eki @ 2:01pm
@ NukeAwesome. The skyrim system of leveling forces people specialize in a specific build, since enemies scale to your level. Oblivion let you work on any skills without the enemies becoming stronger. I was just saying is that I to wait a little longer for a level up, rather than fighting OP enemies, since I build stealth.
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 17 Eki @ 1:53am
Yes :)
HaxorousTheRaptor 16 Eki @ 9:50pm
so wait, hes saying is that if you play a recent save that will show up allowing you edit your character? I hope its a yes
NukeAwesome NC 12 Eki @ 10:07pm
Mad Mac, levelingin skyrim is already slow for some skills, so that would've made it worse.
The Mad Mac 3 11 Eki @ 7:28pm
Real cool, but i wish that only leveling up major skills gave you overall experience, like in oblivion.
NukeAwesome NC 9 Eki @ 10:50pm
Thanks too you too!
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 8 Eki @ 11:53pm
:) Thanks NukeAwesome. Glad you like it. I missed the old Oblivion and Morrowind class system too.
NukeAwesome NC 8 Eki @ 11:05pm
iAmazing! I loved this system in oblivion, and I love it here too. Really makes skyrim feel more traditional. 10/10
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 5 Eki @ 7:04pm
SkyRe is not in the Steam Workshop afaik because it has a more involved installation process. I don't know whether it comes from frostfall though.
JulianMVazquez 3 Eki @ 10:08pm
is SkRe available in steam workshop or does it come with frostfall?
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 30 Eyl @ 3:57pm
sure :)
Lil Battle Bra 30 Eyl @ 12:28pm
Maybe just as a friend then?
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 30 Eyl @ 1:36am
sorry kitten, im not modding anymore but there are plenty of helpful ppl on the bethesda skryrim modding forums
Lil Battle Bra 29 Eyl @ 11:41pm
Sadly I figured that out like 10minutes ago, apparently when I subscribed, it didn't check it off again. >_<. Thank you though Syclonix. I also wanted to know if it'd be okay if I added you. I've been really interested in modding and have tried searching in google, but I feel like a robot is typing to me with every word I read. If not, that's perfectly fine.

Thank you!
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 29 Eyl @ 5:33pm
Hi kaotic Kitten, you need to let Steam sync/download your subscribed mods. Do this by clicking on the Skyrim Launcher. After a while you should see the mod appear in your load order when you click on "Data Files" from the Skyrim launcher menu.
Lil Battle Bra 29 Eyl @ 5:07pm
Hi, I'm very confused. It continues to tell me that I'm not subscribed with this mod even though it says subscribed on this page. I've tried unsubscribing and doing it again and restarting my skyrim, still no luck.
lmarquisv 28 Eyl @ 1:45am
I don't know if this is common, but the CCO lowers my skill levels below zero and makes it impossible for me to level them up. Is there a way to fix this?
FrumpyKnight 25 Eyl @ 6:09pm
I loved oblivion like it was my own child, and this really brings back some great memories!
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 24 Eyl @ 8:41pm
@Stahlbrand: Glad you like it! Thanks for the comments.

@:Gulibab: might be a mod conflict that is removing items from your inventory. Use the console to add it back. Find the item ID using the command "help A New Beginning". After you find the Item ID for the book use the command "player.additem ITEM_ID"
Stahlbrand 24 Eyl @ 5:04pm
I really like this mod. I love Oblivion, and I am pleased with how this, and the other random start mod really remind me of playing OOO Oblivion. Being able to start with a character, rather than an undifferentiated blob of mediocre stats really helps. Not having to go through Helgen is also great.
Nummer? 22 Eyl @ 10:50am
Why do i not get the new beginning book?
Syclonix  [yaratıcı] 17 Eyl @ 10:40am
@AtzumBR: If you're new I'd recommend playing Skyrim without mods so you get a feel for what the mods actually change when you do add them in later. It's just a personal preference but I find I enjoy mods most when I can see the difference with or without them.

That said, my must-have mods would be SkyUI, Ultimate Combat, Random Alternate Start (but I'm biased since this is my own mod). I also really like Apocalypse Spell Package if you're playing a mage--it adds tons of really fun, pretty balanced spells to the game.
aisti81 17 Eyl @ 10:14am
Hi, I'm totally new to Skyrim, and I was browsing through the different mods and now I'm really liking what I'm reading here. But with my limited knowledge (only just installed Skyrim) are there any 3 mods besides this one you'd recommend to enhance the game? Graphical overhauls etc? Sorry if it irked you to see this comment here, I wasn't sure where to start. Felt pretty overwhelmed. =I
