I got to the control room no problem, but I never looked up. I ended up redoing the level and succeeding in taking out all the turrets without breaking the window (took a while) only to find the button didn't work. So I broke the window and went back to the control room and only then did I find the way through. Great map!

Hi man, i am new to create the portal2's map, i found that the editor in the game is not so comfortable to build a new map, so could you tell me which tool you used to build a map if it's not the one in the game?

I think something must have screwed up in my map because I got to the room where the turrets where suppose to be and it was already in ruins.

I Was reading the comments about the turrets and thinking "Turrets? What turrets?"...I Look at the screenshot and realize "Hey, my map didn't have turrets!"

I had trouble in the first room. i got the first button and the second button, then it took me about 30 mins and i got the third button. Then i got stuck. After an hour i cheated.

Bit later when i completed the second room and window got sealed i was wondering: Where i need to go now? Again, i cheated and i saw the control room widow broken. Then i finished the level (without cheating).

Still nice level :) i really want to see part 6 if it even comes out. (Sorry bad english..)

Why do you need the Laser and the Cube at the 2nd room? I did everything with just the light brige and in the end i hade the Cube with me.

Hey this is how I found Wheatly and the space core outside: I was messing around with noclip and when i was outside i saw two little specs in the sky and oubviously that was wheatly and the sppace core

Pretty decent moon base style map. I'll give it a thumbs up for visual appeal and decent puzzle but what was that laser for in the 2nd part?

I DID IT!!!! I killed all of the turretts without breaking the glass, only to find out that the butten just sparks and nothing happens. I DID THE IMPOSIBLE

That alarm scared the shit out of me, (im wearing headphones :D) but wat i want to know is if u can destroy all of the turrets, because i was able to get all the ones that wernt behind the chain wall but i think its possible to get them if u are lucky enough that nun of them hit the glass, because wen useing the cubes as a bowling ball, it looked like it could slide into them but if all the turets are destroyed, is there anything past that door that should have been he way to the next area? or is it just nothingness? Easteregg maybe?

One of the most frutrating and ultimatly satisfing. 2nd chamber much better than the first for me. Too much coordinated jumping for my taste. Still 5 stars. Nice.

Great map, but bugged.

I'm reading many comments about turrets. I never got any when playing. The second part was a messed up room with a shut window.

When watching a walkthrough I realized what happened. When I was playing the first part, I heard an alarm go off. This isn't supposed to happen then. Apparently it was triggered early somehow and cleaned the room for me.
Happened again on replay.

The second room caught me completely by surprise. Very well-done and very impressive. I tried hiding behind the first glass wall when I broke the window completely by accident and when that shattered, too, I panicked. XD Looking forward to the next map. I love the puzzles, use of panels, visuals, and...well, everything! What a fantastic series. It isn't even done yet, either!

My solution is playing turret bowling (in the second room). For the first couple turrets I use the light bridge, put it as far as I can go without the bridge being behind the turret. I then kill the two turrets. I wait a little, take some damage, kill the turret guarding the button, quickly press it and run back. I then make two gel walkways as my "bowling lanes" and a cube. I quickly run up any gel walkway, then launch the cube. When I've killed at least 5 turrets, when the last one shuts down, I go back to the glass wall. The vacuum sequence occurs, but when the glass cracks I am completely safe :D It works! Turret bowling.

Whoa! I nearly got wasted by the sudden vacuum. I was like, what the hell at first, but I managed through it. Very fun set of puzzles here. I had a tough time with the laser floor. That one took some experimentation. Thanks for not making it too hard haha. Great job, and looking forward for further test rooms.

Part 5's breaking glass is a great idea and made the puzzle worthwhile. But all the red herrings and frustrating jumps made it less enjoyable for me. Also, I managed to eliminate all the turrets without the glass being broken, so I was stuck and had to reload.

I think I found a bug with the use of the laser. I was unable to use the laser for its intended purpose to burn the turrets due to the laser beam being too high (it just goes over the turrets instead of burning them). I tried every trick I could think of to lower the beam, but it just did not work. In the end I used the light bridge to knock over some of the turrets causing the destruction of the large window to move on to the next part. I also found no use for the acceleration gel in the second room nor any need for the laser due to the aforementioned problem.

When I played this map again, I somehow activated the glass in the second room being destroyed, but I was in the first room.

Great work on the series, though I found #5 to be the weakest of the puzzles. The first room is a slog, with a lot of cheap deaths caused by awkward low-gravity jumps around the horizontal lasers and a lot of missed potential in the geometry itself. It's possible to speed gel the underside of the entranceway ramp and bounce across to the other side; adding a mobile platform in front of it was a missed opportunity for a creative jump.

Cool set of puzzles, but the second one was a bit silly. I ended up having to jump on the turret's (near the button) head.
