actually fletching is a very difficult trade, much more so than making any form of armor or weapon i have ever made (also the only thing you make at a forge of an arrow is the head(sometimes the shaft but those are crossbow bolts not arrows))

Is there a way to craft dragon arrows? You can craft dragon weapons and armor

it's a little annoying that you'd have to use a daedra heart for just arrows

Guter Mod,vor allem weil er in der deutschen Ausgabe von Skyrim auch auf Deutsch ist.

After running around Skyrim trying to find out why arrows weren't appearing on my list of craftable items, I finally remembered that this comes with Dawnguard. Since I'm not playing my current character with Dawnguard, I need a mod. This one looks great.

i was talking to my friend about this last night, we think itd be cool (obviously not for this mod but for future games) if you could smith your own arrows with different shape tips so for long distance you could have thin tips and for bigger damage up close broadtips.

also the "recipe" should be more believable you should have to find different feathers and things, i mean that kinda thing appeals to me, i dont know about anyone else.

great job

I've been thru a few of these mods. This one looks to be the best, sure they all let us craft arrows but by simply adding wood to the recipe it seems plausabile. To me that makes all the difference. This is SKYRIM! ! ! Its got to be lore friendly and require some effort. Nice mod =)

Much appreciated. :)

It was a good effort, Pants.

Hold a moment. Ebony arrows? Explosive Ebony Arrows go for a lot on the market.

So I can make my own Ebony arrows? I don't have to buy them?

Scratch that, it seems to have fixed itself now ... In the absence of any proof to the contrary, I blame Steam.
Cecil_Harvey 31. jul, 2012 @ 8:08pm
Yeah, ive subscribed to 30+ mods, so I know what's *supposed* to happen when i click subscribe, only it isn't happening. The button doesn't turn to the blue "Subscribed" button, it stays green, and the mod doesn't add to my subscription list ... it blows, but I don't really know what the cause is, or what to do about it
StridingPants  [skaper] 31. jul, 2012 @ 5:17pm
Do you mean you don't see anything after you hit subscribe? When you hit the subscribe buttono it should change to say you are subscribed. Then, it will download the next time you open the skyrim launcher.
Cecil_Harvey 31. jul, 2012 @ 3:02pm
Blarg, I want to get this mod very badly, but Steam seems to be busted, at least for me. I hit the subscribe button and nothing happens, hitting the button dozens of times doesn't have an effect either, it simply isn't letting me subscribe to any mods ... /sadface.
Zass 31. jul, 2012 @ 4:49am
Most usefull mod ever in skyrim.
neilbert1 30. jul, 2012 @ 3:46pm
The other mod is called "Smithy Fix" by [STAB] Arclight - nothing fancy, just a small collection of good, basic fixes to Smithing so that you can improve some items that for whatever reason you couldn't (but should have) before (in case you were interested). However, I don't think it quite has the ultility of "Craftable Arrows" if you're using archery frequently - archers go through arrows quickly, and while you can alway find, or if all else fails, buy extra arrows, being able to craft your own arrows is simply amazing!.
neilbert1 30. jul, 2012 @ 3:17pm
Excellent - although my character, being a archer/thief, hasn't bought any smithing perks, I was able to make 250 iron arrows - won't run out now! I like a mod like this where I can add a few things I want without rearranging the whole smithing system or changing a hgue collection of other items -I like the current system and items the way they are (although I also have a mod that allows horned scale armor to be crafted AND improved - another simple mod that doesn't explode the smithing system). Thumbs up! :)
Heimdall313 30. jul, 2012 @ 10:18am
Just Midas Magic. Had Steel Smithing, not sure if I checked Misc though ><
I did find another mod to do it however, sorry :(
I left you a good rating, for the time spent at least. Probably an error on my part anyway lol.
StridingPants  [skaper] 29. jul, 2012 @ 12:40pm
Do you have any other mods that may conflict with it? Also, arrows require the respective material types to have the specific perk. Arrows are listed under the misc tab aswell.
cjstarkie 29. jul, 2012 @ 6:28am
Dito arrows dont show up as craftable after download
Heimdall313 29. jul, 2012 @ 3:10am
Erm... I have this Subscribed and checked off in the Data Files section, but I don't see Iron or Steel arrows anywhere on the list at Blacksmith forge. Got the game yesterday, so not very far :P
Tried delete+reinstall and still nothing. Any prerequsites I may be missing? I tried the forges in Whiterun and Riverwood, if it matters. The other mod I have works fine too.
StridingPants  [skaper] 27. jul, 2012 @ 6:10pm
The suscribe button downloads it, and updates it if any updates are available.
Makratea 27. jul, 2012 @ 6:04pm
How can i download this?
StridingPants  [skaper] 25. jul, 2012 @ 10:15am
No, I'm not going to change the models. This recipe is basically the one from Dawnguard(except it gives 25 instead of 24 arrows because I like an even 100 :P) for this who don't want to have to wait for it to come out to get this feature.
Freely 25. jul, 2012 @ 9:58am
Are you going to remodel the arrows so they have no feathers on them to make what you made look realistic from the materials you used?
StridingPants  [skaper] 23. jul, 2012 @ 6:42pm
I'm not sure I want to add feathers to my arrows, this mod was mostly just a creation of the Dawnguard style of arrow making. I want to keep the recipe simple and probably won't be adding feathers to the recipe.
Stormbow 23. jul, 2012 @ 6:10pm
@Got Me Some Stridin Pants
I'm glad you mentioned me, I went off to find the mod with the fletchings (the feathers on arrows) and lost track of this mod. One mod uses Hawk Feathers, Chicken Feathers (which can be plucked/harvested from chickens without killing them or making them aggressive), and I think Hagraven feathers as ingredients to make fletching bundles. The Fletching Bundles are them used as arrow recipe (similar to yours) ingredients. Another mod uses the Hawk feathers alone as an ingredient to make arrows. I think the former is called Arrowsmithing v3b or Simple Fletching. I can't seem to find the one that just uses feathers. (I picked that one up way back when Skyrim first launched.)
StridingPants  [skaper] 23. jul, 2012 @ 1:48pm
What do you mean by fletching ingredient? Like a tool of some sort?
Stormbow 23. jul, 2012 @ 11:28am
Needs some form of fletching ingredient, in my opinion. One mod already does this and has fletchings.
GodzillaGandalf 23. jul, 2012 @ 10:50am
Subbed ur mod ;)
