@Republican I think is the pre-balance of the stone, I saw a video saying that you CAN'T (or mustn't I can't remember) fast travel with your undead army
Republican Aug 27, 2015 @ 6:58pm
Minions die whenever fast travel is used or waiting has happend.

That's because your ressurecting more people than the game allows you to. I solved this problem by adding a perk into the game that let's you have up to 1000 ressureccted minions; however, this perk ONLY activates on your character if you activate the ritual stone.

If you added the ritual stone power in through the console menu, this wont work, you'll have to get the power manually.

If you already had the power on your character before the mod installed, you'll have to learn a different power, and then go back to the ritual stone to re-learn the ritual stone power.

Sorry you have to jump through so many hoops to do this, it's just that there was no other way to implement the perk in a sensible way.

Im saying that Some Resurrected people I made with the ritual stone were bugged that they wouldnt follow me and When i approach one of them, It would say Search Npc like looting one of them.
Petya  [author] Aug 14, 2013 @ 3:28pm

I don't think I understand exactly what your situation is.
BrotherofInsanity Aug 14, 2013 @ 3:00pm
I had this bug issue of the ritual stone, I went inside bleakfalls barrow and got the dead draugrs in one spot and after that some of them dont say the characters name -Npc name- and it only shows Search -Npc-

maclever Jan 8, 2013 @ 5:15pm
wooooooooooooooooot so totally subbing thats just sick >:D
Petya  [author] Jan 8, 2013 @ 10:24am

I remember setting the limit to 1000. So an army, you must build.
maclever Jan 8, 2013 @ 1:04am
oh and peter, is there a time limit or spawn limit? you know like you can only have 15 following you or something like that?
maclever Jan 8, 2013 @ 1:03am
@PariahtheDarkOne / TheCrimsonDawn, i had the same issue in the early days of steam and skyrim mods (everyone did actually) at first you could only enable up to 50, then with a few updates they fixed that, there might still be a cap i dont know, but as peter said, the more mods you have the more unstable, that even goes for mods that add just weapons and armors, your still modifying the world in little ways, because the game has to recognize the equipment, like piling snow on paper, eventually the paper gives out.

Thank you once again.
Petya  [author] Dec 16, 2012 @ 11:46pm

No pressure, just do whatever your comfortable with. Just giving you my honest opinion :)
I do hope everything works out for you.
DawnofTheWhiteFury Dec 16, 2012 @ 11:22pm
I will consider it. This is the only time this issue has happened though. Any other time I managed to fix it, but this is just.. I don't know.
Petya  [author] Dec 16, 2012 @ 11:15pm

The more mods you have, the more unstable your game tends to become. As you become acustomed to modding, you'll start to understand how to do it better. I assume that you have been using the steam workshop to install and manage your mods, I'm going to say you should consider using the nexus mod manager instead. It may be more confusing to someone who's not used to it, but it's fairly intuitive, and gives you much more control over the mods you use. You can find it at

I generally prefer to use that site for all my modding needs too. It's a much better platform than the steam workshop in my opinion.
DawnofTheWhiteFury Dec 16, 2012 @ 10:41pm
Thank you by the way.
DawnofTheWhiteFury Dec 16, 2012 @ 10:38pm

I will try reinstalling the game from the disc after making a new save and turning off every mod. I will see if that fixes the issue.
DawnofTheWhiteFury Dec 16, 2012 @ 10:14pm
Ive tried disabling ALL of them. I was told to delete mods and reinstall Skyrim, but I have a large number of mods. Most of them just add weapons or armor to the game, very few actually change the overworld.
Petya  [author] Dec 16, 2012 @ 10:05pm

I'm quite sure it's not my mod causing this. It is possible you have too many mods that cause changes to the overworld, which can make the game VERY unstable. Try disabling some mods that change the overworld, see if that helps any.

Hello there, if you are reading this comment, then I have subscribed to the mod currently on this page. I am leaving this comment because one of the mods I am subscribed to seems to be causing an error with the Deepwood Redoubt area. Every time I approach it, the game freezes with a windows error message every time. Because of this, I cannot finish multiple quests. Bethesda and Steam tech supports were of no assistance, so I am trying to figure this out myself. If anyone is having the same issue as me, even if it is on a different mod, please leave a reply or send me a message.
Petya  [author] Aug 14, 2012 @ 7:42pm

Of course... What would the be the point otherwise? Just raise zombies to hear them moan?
austin.uchiha Aug 14, 2012 @ 5:23pm
do they attack ur enemys
Petya  [author] Aug 8, 2012 @ 6:19pm

I'm glad to hear that :)
shadowskills13 Aug 8, 2012 @ 2:05pm

I love this. Now when I go kill a shit ton of Spriggans, they will actually last!
My entourage awaits! Arise for your vampire mistress! To glorious battle!

As you can see, you really made my day.
SpectreLex Aug 7, 2012 @ 8:09pm
Should have noticed your excellent mods of necromancy earlier Peter.
They are excellent.
Petya  [author] Aug 7, 2012 @ 7:58pm

Oh trust me it is, there's nothing like razing a camp of helpless bandits, piling up their bodies, and raising them all to do your bidding. The only other thing that it could possibly need, is a meneacing laugh while your character casts the spell... Hmm.
shadowskills13 Aug 7, 2012 @ 7:43pm

I think I will subscribe. Thank you greatly for the efforts. This is perfect for my "Necrosword" character.
Petya  [author] Aug 7, 2012 @ 7:33pm

It will work if you already have the Ritual Stone power, so no worries there.
shadowskills13 Aug 7, 2012 @ 6:58pm
I have a question...

Does this work if you already HAVE the Ritual Stone Power?

I already have it, and yes, I have piled up large ammounts of bodies before, though I do find it somewhat... short lived.

You say this will make them permanent? Nice.

But if I can't get it because I already have the Ritual Stone, then I dunno...
Snuffe Aug 1, 2012 @ 5:16am

I tell you in the description, it's just east of Whiterun, follow the road to Windhelm, and you'll see it. You could also search it up on google, there will be a map.
bddog99 Jul 19, 2012 @ 6:10pm
