Garden Shed #3 ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=599197994 ) appears to be a dependency for Low Residential 300S that is not listed.

@Fentines - In life and in simulation, everything has a price.
Fentines Jun 14, 2021 @ 8:06pm
Quick question: why when i try to plop them they have a price??
XPopXCornX Mar 31, 2021 @ 12:09am
Still the best...I have districts full of historical'd university assets from your paid DLC in ALL of my cities...both in the PS4/5 and PC versions!
MatteCosta Jan 28, 2021 @ 9:32am
Thank you so much! Amazing assets and you are doing amazing work for the community thank you so much!
Mazisky Sep 26, 2019 @ 3:51am
Those are great for a level 1 low res, i really like the models, even when you zoom at them with camera mods they look pretty polished. However, they are a bit out of scale, i've found that the right size for these specific models is 80% (0.8 scale in asset editor).

@chinaserf1 i have no idea. Probably having RICO on when opening the asset editor
Lenny_Froggins Apr 18, 2019 @ 12:59pm
@Kingleno hey just want to first off say, thanks for making these great assets. You really help bring small town USA to life.

So, I did that, and now I can grow them in a theme, but the lots are barren of the random props like when I plop them from your file. I opened back up the asset editor (which takes a long time to load), and loaded up one of your Low Res buildings again, but I saw no way to place props on the lot or tell it to randomize props. Is there an easy way to do that? Or is it more advanced and I should seek out a while asset editor tutorial?
Lenny_Froggins Mar 26, 2019 @ 11:14am
I'll give that a shot, thanks!
KingLeno  [author] Mar 25, 2019 @ 7:49pm
@chinaerf1 open them in the asset editor, save them as a different name
Lenny_Froggins Mar 25, 2019 @ 6:36pm
I can't seem to add these to a theme. Is it because they are both GRO and RICO? I would really like to be able to make a theme with these houses and a bunch of low-rent commercial stuff.
Oldhip Mar 8, 2019 @ 6:15pm
The assets should also be in a collection.
ryanwwe95 Mar 7, 2019 @ 7:21pm
really cool have been looking for something like this, i was up until a few days ago playing the PS4 version and i always hated how their were no visibly poor neighborhoods very unrealistic. However this made my day thanks!
burgers Mar 5, 2019 @ 1:25pm
@Tobi you can find a lot of the same design when searching for soviet/russian tenements
KingPotato Jan 21, 2019 @ 12:45pm
@tobi reminds me of hartford CT i rememeber i was working in hartford and a bunch of police and fire trucks swarmed this apartment building intresting place
JJamiah Dec 21, 2018 @ 12:27pm
what are those 2 apartment buildings in the first picture? ive been looking for something like that for so long for my Connecticut city
KingLeno  [author] Dec 4, 2018 @ 6:06am
@augcph yea, it wouldn't be too hard for you to make! I don't use district these those, so no sure how useful it would be seeing that it wouldn't be a complete them
AugCph Dec 4, 2018 @ 3:24am
Can we get a district theme with this?
fdskkcdued Sep 10, 2018 @ 12:24pm
This and the shotgun homes would be perfect for a alantic city NJ build!
BillyShabindigo Apr 5, 2018 @ 9:31pm
Cool! Thanks
KingLeno  [author] Apr 1, 2018 @ 4:07am
@billyshabindigo i did make them myself. they are linked in this asset. Residential Props, search Window board
BillyShabindigo Mar 31, 2018 @ 12:11am
The boards that you used for some of the windows... where'd you get them? Or did you make them yourself? If so, could you release them? I'm trying to make my own boarded up buildings since the Workshop is lacking dilapidated properties.
Lextacy Mar 30, 2018 @ 7:34pm
These houses are hard-coded to be Ploppable RICO. Is there a way to get these to be standard zonable-rico ?
David Mar 6, 2018 @ 1:16am
Ok, thanks. Not like I was going to read through 9 pages of comments to find that out, but thanks for letting me know anyway.
KingLeno  [author] Mar 5, 2018 @ 7:56am
@david yeah, i just deleted it. You could read the previous comments...... your issue is with RICO, not these houses.
David Mar 5, 2018 @ 1:56am
@KingLeno: Did you see my comment in the Discussions section?
KingLeno  [author] Feb 28, 2018 @ 6:45am
@rb58nl there are abandoned houses included in the shotgun house pack
rb58nl Feb 27, 2018 @ 10:47pm
Could you do something like abandoned houses ? You know, places no one has been living for a long time... Broken windows, door entrees shut with wooden planks. Some graffiti over it...
sp0c3boi_yeg Jan 3, 2018 @ 10:11am
Lol. KingLeno, Very nice job!
ajimbert Dec 26, 2017 @ 7:18pm
Thanks for adding some working class housing to the mix, between these and some of your other apartment buildings. Works great and can be "polished up" with extra landscaping to make some realistic neighborhoods. Also, tried to get the RICO enabled and its not showing up yet but will keep troubleshooting. Cheers!
Rootiga Dec 5, 2017 @ 3:55pm
do these not work with the district theme mod? they appear as rico but not growable for me
a moon upon a stick Oct 17, 2017 @ 7:44pm
where did you get the screenshot? what game it is in
KingLeno  [author] Sep 22, 2017 @ 5:21pm
@theqentity hey, just read my reply the to previous comment
theqentity Sep 22, 2017 @ 4:22pm
FYI, these are growing 'as' rico now on my map ... ie I have to delete them like I delete a fire station, with the 'are you sure' box.

Not sure if that was intentional. :)
Dark Elf Aug 12, 2017 @ 3:13am
thank you so much
RoomMic Aug 1, 2017 @ 3:01pm
Thanks
KingLeno  [author] Aug 1, 2017 @ 1:10pm
@amnesiacguy no, that's an issue with RICO mod. you can go to the RICO settings menu, find the buildings, add local , uncheck the RICO settings > save. that may or may not work
RoomMic Aug 1, 2017 @ 12:58pm
I cannot add these assets to themes with the building themes mod, only styles. Could you make it so that you could add these to themes?
scoobyduped Jul 5, 2017 @ 8:02am
@seanlax5 - you can remove RICO settings the same way you add them with the mod. It's arguably even easier. Just create a local RICO setting, but then don't check the "enable RICO" button. That's it, you're done, the building will now behave like it would without the RICO mod, in this case, like a standard growable.
hemeac Jul 3, 2017 @ 12:40am
@seanlax5, you can find an archived pre-change version of it here: smods [dot] ru
KingLeno  [author] Jun 29, 2017 @ 10:04am
@4thDownSyndrome20 no, you do it the same way. Alternatively, you can just load it up in the asset editor and save a local copy. All of my assets have, and will have RICO settings, big or small.

Again.... previously, having RICO settings had no effect on if an asset grew in zones or not. If this has been changed, then I recommend that you take your concerns to the RICO mod page.
seanlax5 Jun 29, 2017 @ 8:01am
I appreciate your responses to my concerns. RICO is obviously ideal for things like your generous big-box centers and detailed apartment complex buildings. But for small single family homes, or any small, mass-zoning / tract type of assets you decide to create and upload in the future, I want to remind you that:

"It is extremely easy to add RICO settings to growables; it is considerably more difficult to make RICO assets growable."
KingLeno  [author] Jun 29, 2017 @ 7:54am
@4thdownsyndrome20 I completely understand. But we just disagree. it's not a "product" as there is no monies exchanged, but I have to ultimately do what I want to do, and what I wanted from the start is to have these available as RICO.

Adding RICO as a separate asset, would still be a task in itself. Just uploading one asset is a task, I would have to edit each of the 8 files before I uploaded them as separate assets.

I said before, previously....assets with RICO settings would still grow and be shown in building themes. People made comments like "I don't want this [Spring Hill apartment] to grow in my zones" Somewhere along the way, someone changed it so buildings with RICO settings wouldnt grow. I have nothing to do with that if that is the case.
seanlax5 Jun 29, 2017 @ 7:41am
"They are still growables, I added RICO settings"

Okay, so you DID change the file, and I DO understand what you've done. I just don't agree with your decision and am trying to explain how it negatively affects your subscribers, as the vast majority of us DO use growable assets. It is extremely easy to add RICO settings to growables; it is considerably more difficult to make RICO assets growable.

In the future (in line with the good IT practice of 'don't break dependencies'), I would suggest adding RICO settings as a separate asset, similar to what Quad does. It gives your subscribers and contributors a more flexible product.
KingLeno  [author] Jun 29, 2017 @ 7:25am
@4thdownsyndrome no, i don't think you fully understand. They are still growables, I added RICO settings. If RICO settings makes an asset no longer growable, then that is a problem with the RICO mod.

I added RICO settings because I want to personally use them as RICO and I no longer play using growable assets. I always meant for them to have RICO settings, I didn't know how to do it for multiple assets at the time I uploaded them, no I won't change them back.

You can go to the RICO workshop page for any tutorials about the RICO mod and if possible how to remove RICO settings.
seanlax5 Jun 29, 2017 @ 5:42am
I don't think you fully understand. These building were working great on 6/26. They were growables.

You updated this file on 6/27.

Now (6/28 and 6/29) these assets do not grow at all. They are only found in RICO menu.

The ONLY thing that changed in that time was this asset. Why did you change it, and can you change it back / provide a link to a tutorial so I can do it myself?
KingLeno  [author] Jun 29, 2017 @ 4:50am
@4thDownSyndrome20 No. I mean apparently when something is RICO, it will not grow in the building themes. I can't say from personal experience because I no longer make zones. I know that this use to not be the case. idk, but saying that the issue is with RICO and/or Building Themes if the mod no longer allows growables with RICO settings to grow.
seanlax5 Jun 28, 2017 @ 8:00pm
No, I mean I love this asset, but after today's update, it only shows up in my RICO menu; it won't grow any longer. Can you.... do anything about that?
KingLeno  [author] Jun 28, 2017 @ 7:30pm
@4thDownSyndrome20 aww sorry :( take it up with the authors of RICO and building themes. I stopped using building themes a while ago.
