Hello there, if you are reading this comment, then I have subscribed to the mod currently on this page. I am leaving this comment because one of the mods I am subscribed to seems to be causing an error with the Deepwood Redoubt area. Every time I approach it, the game freezes with a windows error message every time. Because of this, I cannot finish multiple quests. Bethesda and Steam tech supports were of no assistance, so I am trying to figure this out myself. If anyone is having the same issue as me, even if it is on a different mod, please leave a reply or send me a message.

ATTENTION: This mod will no longer have any updates if I missed anything. Download the new "My skyrim people protected mod" It is fresh and has no changes to npc looks and will be updated if I miss anything and I will be working on a "My Solstheim people Protected" mod as well.

I don't know if you can do something about it, but in the quest "Forsworn Conspiracy", Betrid Silver-Blood can't be killed by the servant, which prevents Thonar to talk to you (I unsuscribed/suscribed to make it work). Thank you for this mod.

Yeah I will revert him back to normal. I made him like that when I had this mod made for my personal use. Just because he becomes jarl for stormcloaks and wanted him to have the appropriate attire.

Vignar Gray-Mane in Whiterun is different with this mod - he has pale skin and wearing jarl's clothing and a circlet. Intentional?

Two questions:

1) Is there any way to see the visual changes to Mjoll and Belrand?

2) Also, I honestly don't know how Steam workshop works... if at some point in the future, I want to revert to the old vulnerable NPCs, do I simply unsubscribe from the mod, or will I have to remove files?

Yup I constanty summon mass armies of bandits with CC inside whiterun and watch the carnage and have no fear of loosing any of my people, its quite awesome =D

That explains a lot, I was wondering why my companions would sometimes 'knee' and othertimes die (as a mage, I tend to hit them with DoTs from time to time)

Most every npc is marked protected, meaning that only you or you companions can kill that npc, So if say a dragon attacks riverwood and blows fire at a protected npc he will not die only take a knee. Most all npcs are marked protected.I marked most protected so you can still go on killing sprees if you want then reload lol. But you don't have to worry about them dying from Vamps/dragons/whatever.

Ok nevermind Aela was reverted to not even protected, I fixed that. Nice find.

Dont worry about Ysolda she is marked as protected, So you and only your follower can kill her. I'll look into some things as well, Trying to keep this updated but npc's like aela just revert to protected anyways. So they shouldn't die by the attacks.

You could probably use a reference scanner to eliminate all visual changes in one fell swoop (I did this on Oblivion but it's been a while and I can't remember the app name. Will research...)

Ysolda (merchant in Whiterun) still seems to be mortal, dunno if this is intentional but thought I'd mention it.

Some NPCs' 'essential' flags change during the course of quests (Aela the Huntress springs to mind) - it might be worth creating a batch file to reinstate the flags periodically.

Hope that didn't sound overly critical - just want to be helpful as this mod is pretty much essential! It took me 3 hours of console command work to undo the vampire damage in Whiterun last night. Belethor is gone for good despite my best efforts, grr.

Great mod, the Dawnguard attacks were totally ruining my game. Is there any chance you could publish a version without the visual changes?

Found the problem it was a mistake on my end when I made my newest follower mod, I left the dawnguard master file open witch made this mod recquire you to have Dawnguard lol. Should be good now.

Sorry, ignore my last post. I was a little confused. I thought I saw two seperate files. I was mistaken. My apologies.
However, Golldir and Faendal are among the altered. Faendal doen't look too bad with that hair though. Golldir startled me when I first did his quest. At least, I think that was him shouting. Wasn't me and the drauger should have been too low level to shout.

Just checked on Uthgerd the Unbroken. She looks more like herself now, not the same armor and hair as vanilla, but much more in line with her personality than the piece of cloth she was wearing before :-P

I installed this mod before I started a new Dragonborn and have only encountered 1 changed follower up till now, In Whiterun. Uthgerd the Unbroken. She is not the type to wear nocturnal as standard outfit :-P. to skimpy for her demeanor.

What happened was when I created this mod I did it over on another mod I did for npc changed by accident, I changed like 10 but have been fixing them to there default changed so please list them here ty for the comment clock55.

Hi,

I think that this mod is great. I had lost 4 vendors and one companion to dragons or vampires proir to installing this mod. However, as with Ramza and Ictena I do not care for the NPC changes. I have seen two, thus far, Calder is tolerable, but I do not like Argis as a vampire at all. Is there anyway you can you can provide us with a choice if we want to return to the vanilla look?

Hi,

I like this mod. I think its better than removing the vampire attackes, like a few other mods do. But I have to agree with Ramza on the personal changes bit. I could do without the personal changes, or at least have the choice between adding them or not.... Still best Dawnguard overpowered vampire "Murderbrawl" solution I have seen.

they would not die, and lisbet returned to town and everyone in the town kept attacking her and she kept getting up but i fixed it of course by disabling the mod and reenabling it after they were killed

He should not be protected now.But you need to save your game before while this mod is not active then resub and reload that save for changes to take affect.

Ah yes, Rogviir in Solitude is bugged, he stay there alive without his head on ground and his head is alive either even if you go up there to save him after executed, he will run without his head in the town, its kind of fun lol but yeah its a bug.
