I'm not sure I can make this Hearthsfire compatible without having to start over on the mod. The room I used for the stairs would conflict with how Hearthsfire uses it. Plus, I believe I deleted some of the items (I'm not sure how to "properly" put them back to prevent a crash) that the Hearthsfire mod would use.

love the mod! it has everything I need right there in the basement. my only suggestion is if you could add a few bookshelves.

probably a skyrim bug anyway good mod and rember make a mod for a haunted manor.

No, I didn't put anything like that in my mod. Plus, ghosts are blue-ish and transparent. You don't have to be in a quest to be unable to kill a NPC. They may be reserved for a future quest.

im not in any quest like tag or anything that involves a knight (guard what i mean) and a girl their just standing their i try to slice em but they dont do anything i think their ghost? did you do this if you did make a separate mod for a haunted house

You don't know who these people are? They're not your daughter or follower? If you don't know them, then I'm not sure who they are or why they're down there. They might be indestructable because they're important to a ques line. Either way I'll look into it when I get a chance. Maybe I can setup some proper navmesh to "help" them find their way out of your basement. :)

theirs a weird bug im not sure if its not me but theirs a bug where their are transperent and sometimes transperent children and knights in the basement is this supposed to happen or is this something with my game ifthis isnt a bug add a name because the girl and knight only stair at me please let me talk to them or let me kill them or kill them their indestructable thanks.

Do you have Hearthfires enabled? This mod is not compatible with it. I made a mod, like this one and more, that works with or without Hearthfires. I provided the link to my other mod at the very top of the description.

That sounds like a safe way to save your items and return to a pre-BreezehomeBasement world. :)

If I retrieve all of my items from the basement, then leave, disable the mod, and reopen Skyrim, will the normal part of Breezehome be unaffected (my items still being present)?

Thanks for the update regarding the trap door. Unfortunately, I currently don't seem to be able to prevent this crash. I was able to prevent CK from crashing when loading multiple Master files, but couldn't stop the crashing when entering Breezehome. (Note: I don't have experience editing code itself.) I was reading that the HearthFire DLC seems to have some bad edits, which may cause problems when people try to edit various cells.

When using this mod in conjunction with Hearthfire, the game will crash upon entering Breezehome. However, the basement can still be entered, from the trapdoor at the farm.

This mod combined with heartfire causes the game to crash when entering or loading inside breezehome. I really enjoyed it while it worked though :)

i need a haunted house lol i need my mannequins to walk when im not looking ( i wound see them walk out of the corner of screem) and i want to hear noises when the house is empty and i neeed so hear voices ( i will not see ghost) n if u can make that in breeze home TY( thank you)

The mod works pretty well, unfortunately I just downloaded Heartfire and now whenever I enter Breezehome my game crashes. When i disable either heartfire or your mod I can enter the house just fine without any crashes.

Nice mod, tried it out but I didn't like the lamps in the middle of the room. Keep bumping into them and knocking stuff off of the tables next to alchemy/enchanting tables. Some people love their clutter in these mods.

This is my favorite mod so far. I like my Breeze home a lot. So my companions and most of my stuff is there. The addition of this workspace makes it perfect for me. The lighting, layout and feel of the entire space is great. Ive posted pictures of me using the area on my profile.

This is a great mod, and works with no confict to my other mods.

I enjoy this mod and have used it a lot. however, the shelves downstairs only accept two books each. Other than that i think that the lay out is visually and functionally great.

This mod and the secret door mod are exactly the same except this one has regular doors and the other uses a secret entrance. I would highly recommend only selecting one mod before starting the game. One may overwrite the other depending on the order you have the two on you list.

With or without my realistic lighting mod, I'm not having any issues with the cell being too dark. Are you using any lighting mods?

I looked at the navmesh and it was easy enough to delete some of the mesh. Hope it helps.

I agree. That's why I said "that is my first course of action". It usually corrects itself, but for some reason, not so here. I can deal with it though, as I descibed earlier. I just leave her upstairs. I love the Mod, so I'll keep it. This doesn't make the Mod useless, as long as people are aware of the problem, and do as I do.

That's incredibly strange... When exiting a cell or fast-traveling while everyone's outside should cause them to regroup.

No she doesn't. I've tried that many times. When a follower doesn't follow me, that is my first course of action. So until fixed I just tell her to stay in the livingrom, or kitchen area. I even tried leaving from the secret exit, and she's just not following me.

I haven't tried getting into the navmesh stuff, having your followers follow you up the stairs to the main room and then maybe the bedroom is a convenience I will look into down the road when I get some time. Otherwise, as soon as you leave the house they will popup next to you.

My follower, Lydia gets stuck in the basement when I leave. To avoid it, I have to tell her to "Stay Here" while upstairs. Otherwise a great Mod addition. :)

Ya, in a couple of months I should have my bachelors in Physics, so, putting a blacksmith and smelter in the basement with no air ventalation would keep me up at night. haha

You mean get rid of the door to the alchemy room and put a false backing closet? I thought the stairs fit well into the natural structure of the house. If I put that closet there, people might get suspicious about that extra buldge from the house when the interior doesn't account for it. :) Unless you tell them it's to support the upstairs. Then they'd wonder why you didn't put anything there. It just a whole big thing and puts too many holes in your story. haha But wait a minute, where'd you get the money to afford putting all those utilities in your basement? Crap! Maybe the basement needs to be hidden... hmmm... haha

I think you should have one of those false backing closets like delphine had in the riverwood inn leading to the door to the basement to kind of make it hidden and cleaner looking

The chests (and Dummies) in the forge area of the basement seem to have reset - I've lost all the metal working supplies and gems I had been saving up as well as Unique weapons and armour have gone. The chests and shelves in the other chamber are fine. Not the end of the world but not good - Maybe the divines way of telling me to sell up. Hope you can work out the problem 'cause of was enjoying using the facilities and the escape hatch was great. Ah well.

See if chests and mannequins keep starting over in there too. My best guess is something (maybe a security program, maybe SteamGuard) is stopping changes to certain files. Although, if that were true then why'd this program let you put the files there in the first place? Hmmm.
