Also using an ENB will fix shadow striping if you use the ENB's shadows instead of the ones included in the Skyrim Engine. (But alas, not everyone is privy to an ENB or could handle it on their machine comfortably)
Dr. Robeatnik 22 Lip - 12:53
If this does not work, go into your ini (Or use the Skyrim Configurator on the nexus) and change the Shadow Bias to 0.6. After that, if that does not work, change your Shadow Resolution to 1024x1024px or above (if youre using lower quality shadows for performance, 1024x1024 shouldnt hurt you that much) Also change the shadow blur to 2 or above. This will completely fix shadow striping indoors AND outdoors (As this fix only fixes them indoors)

Awesome mod. Woeks great.
Bagel Hero XV 15 Mar - 15:40
Hellokarrot, good lord, just four? How bad IS your computer??!
Metro Man 14 Mar - 0:16
This mod for some reason just increased my frames -_- (dunno how but I think my computer is dirty minded)

11/10 IGN would download again
hellokarrot 13 Mar - 17:09
I have a potato computer that suprisingly isn't dead from the many (4) mods that im running along with the poor quality setting of skyrim. Will this kill my computer?
yrmama 13 Mar - 1:21
I had no problems with this mod. I appreciate it especially with my kids around the fire in Whiterum.
Plissken 1 Mar - 5:19
Very simple mod that makes certain shadows appear as they are meant to. Surprised this isn't part of the game, to be honest. It's a quick bug fix. Highly recommended.
stingstrike 27 Lut - 13:54
Never mind, closer inspection of the screenshot showed that just adds more re allism. It's hard to type when a cat is stepping on your hands, just for the record.
stingstrike 27 Lut - 13:51
Does this remove the shadows? I need a mod that does that so i can not lag no more.
Púlsar 26 Sty - 1:39
Yeah X3 I wasn't expecting this one to be updated.
Seems to work for some, judging by some comments and the rating =P
Just wrote which one works for me to help others out.
BowedYapper  [autor] 26 Sty - 1:33
@Púlsar, It's probably doing that because this mod is incompatible with any other mods that change shadows or lighting, but as I said before this mod is outdated and obselete, and would be pointless to update since there are now many alternatives that are updated regularly.
Púlsar 26 Sty - 1:25
Lags my game and adds more strips @w@
The one that worked for me is forum42087's in the nexus.
Mes 22 Sty - 11:53
Then again I have more than 125 mods installed, and don't use any mod managing program.
Mes 22 Sty - 11:51
I love this mod great job. Now onto the real problem I need help with. I recently manually downloaded some mods from nexus mods like "disable hdre effects", "unofficial skyrim patch", and "sneak tools"

It appears that these three mods I have recently downloaded have correctly installed and worked fine, but I got a message popup that said "cannot find info for 1 subscribed mod" or something like that, and then when I checked the load order list in the default skyrim launcher this mod was listed at the bottom, unchecked and unsubscribed.

So now I'm wondering.. unless the unofficial skyrim patch or hdr disable mod or even sneak tools has turned off or over-ridden your mod in terms of functionality, what is going on?
Lesman 14 Sty - 11:03
I can't see any changes...unsub, sorry, because my FPS lay down with this, and no changes
abcsm 9 Sty - 15:18
yes! now myu children arent covered in strips of darkness
Orange Crustacean 1 Sty - 4:59
LOOT told me that, if you have Unofficial Skyrim Patch, this mod is irrelevent, and incompatible.
lsd_shawn 14 Gru, 2014 - 1:09
This mod made the problem worse for me...
Weiß 24 Lis, 2014 - 13:10
wasn't a big issue before, but it did bug me, now it happens outdoors :(
RedNightmare 25 Paź, 2014 - 1:17
Yes the indoors are fixed but now it happens to the outdoors on occasions.

BUG: When you are on the Azura's star quest (forgot the name) when you reach the skeleton dude who owns the broken azuras star the room has so many shadow stripes that it makes my eyes burn. Fix this area if possible.
GriffinGamez 7 Lip, 2014 - 4:15
It's installed and not working for me.
Gazda 2 Lip, 2014 - 8:43
i install this and i still have shadow-stripping, but maybe my PC is wooden and that`s why it doesn`t work
V8 the Chill Lucario #MGS5 26 Cze, 2014 - 11:17
Good to see those "fingerprint" shadows are fixed with this mod. Favorited!
The Demon King 22 Cze, 2014 - 9:50
it skyrimprefs.ini
The Demon King 12 Cze, 2014 - 15:41
nooooo,it is not an expansion. the the files are on vamilla skyrim.
Demon King Punk 11 Cze, 2014 - 8:57
My skyrim prefs doesn't have a shadowbiasscale. I run normal skyrim without any expansions.
The Demon King 10 Cze, 2014 - 20:10
when you go into your files, do a search for skyrim. go nto your skyrim folders and look for a file called skyrimprefs.ini and open it. The result should be a lot of words and numbers open in wordpad, or some other typer program. do a control+f search for shadowbiasscale. when you find it, it should say something like shadowbiasscale=0.5 Here is where you can change the shadow stripping. if you replace the 0.5 with a larger number(i used 9) the stipping should go away. the larger the number, the less of stipping will occur. after you cahnge the number, make sure you just save, not save as the wordpad. this should fix the problem.
BowedYapper  [autor] 10 Cze, 2014 - 19:50
I was unaware you could do this, more info please?
The Demon King 10 Cze, 2014 - 18:55
go in to your skyrim file, them into skyrimprefs.ini then change shadow bias scale to a larger number. you don't need a mod
Timesplitter 5 Cze, 2014 - 23:31
Skyrim Ultimate RPG Experience: All Expansions thanks you for your mod/mods made that have been implemented into the collection. It does require all the Skyrim expansions, but is composed of all the most promising mods ever made for Steam. Make sure to check it out at http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=106745968 and don't forget to rate it.
BowedYapper  [autor] 19 Kwi, 2014 - 6:47
@Arthedáin: I think this might be a problem with your INI file, if you don't have any custom modifications, I'd recommend deleting your INI's hopefully this will solve the problem, if not it might be another mod (perhaps outdated?) so you may need to disable one by one to find the exact cause.
SocoJoe 23 Mar, 2014 - 15:53
Works Great where it is important, I did notice some outdoor Striping, but I'm guessing this wasn't meant to fix that, thx for the mod.. :D
Light_112 20 Mar, 2014 - 1:36
simple but cool mod, thanks for the mod

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=235965059 <--- check that out, lol. that's striped shadows using this mod on vanilla textures ultra graphics quality. Other than that I didn't see any other occurences of it (yet) but I started the game just today on that playthrough with the mod.
