Never mind, closer inspection of the screenshot showed that just adds more re allism. It's hard to type when a cat is stepping on your hands, just for the record.

Does this remove the shadows? I need a mod that does that so i can not lag no more.

Yeah X3 I wasn't expecting this one to be updated.
Seems to work for some, judging by some comments and the rating =P
Just wrote which one works for me to help others out.
BowedYapper  [autore] 26 gen, ore 1:33
@Púlsar, It's probably doing that because this mod is incompatible with any other mods that change shadows or lighting, but as I said before this mod is outdated and obselete, and would be pointless to update since there are now many alternatives that are updated regularly.
Púlsar 26 gen, ore 1:25
Lags my game and adds more strips @w@
The one that worked for me is forum42087's in the nexus.
Mes 22 gen, ore 11:53
Then again I have more than 125 mods installed, and don't use any mod managing program.

I love this mod great job. Now onto the real problem I need help with. I recently manually downloaded some mods from nexus mods like "disable hdre effects", "unofficial skyrim patch", and "sneak tools"

It appears that these three mods I have recently downloaded have correctly installed and worked fine, but I got a message popup that said "cannot find info for 1 subscribed mod" or something like that, and then when I checked the load order list in the default skyrim launcher this mod was listed at the bottom, unchecked and unsubscribed.

So now I'm wondering.. unless the unofficial skyrim patch or hdr disable mod or even sneak tools has turned off or over-ridden your mod in terms of functionality, what is going on?
Lesman 14 gen, ore 11:03
I can't see any changes...unsub, sorry, because my FPS lay down with this, and no changes
abcsm 9 gen, ore 15:18
yes! now myu children arent covered in strips of darkness
Orange Crustacean 1 gen, ore 4:59
LOOT told me that, if you have Unofficial Skyrim Patch, this mod is irrelevent, and incompatible.
lsd_shawn 14 dic 2014, ore 1:09
This mod made the problem worse for me...

BUG: When you are on the Azura's star quest (forgot the name) when you reach the skeleton dude who owns the broken azuras star the room has so many shadow stripes that it makes my eyes burn. Fix this area if possible.
GriffinGamez 7 lug 2014, ore 4:15
It's installed and not working for me.
Gazda 2 lug 2014, ore 8:43
i install this and i still have shadow-stripping, but maybe my PC is wooden and that`s why it doesn`t work
V8 The Chill Lucario 26 giu 2014, ore 11:17

The Demon King 22 giu 2014, ore 9:50

The Demon King 12 giu 2014, ore 15:41

Demon King Punk 11 giu 2014, ore 8:57
My skyrim prefs doesn't have a shadowbiasscale. I run normal skyrim without any expansions.
† Artheдain † 11 giu 2014, ore 3:01
@zacharyb

thanks alot for that!!

I love this mod but I am on sort of a mod diet :3
The Demon King 10 giu 2014, ore 20:10
when you go into your files, do a search for skyrim. go nto your skyrim folders and look for a file called skyrimprefs.ini and open it. The result should be a lot of words and numbers open in wordpad, or some other typer program. do a control+f search for shadowbiasscale. when you find it, it should say something like shadowbiasscale=0.5 Here is where you can change the shadow stripping. if you replace the 0.5 with a larger number(i used 9) the stipping should go away. the larger the number, the less of stipping will occur. after you cahnge the number, make sure you just save, not save as the wordpad. this should fix the problem.
BowedYapper  [autore] 10 giu 2014, ore 19:50
I was unaware you could do this, more info please?
The Demon King 10 giu 2014, ore 18:55
go in to your skyrim file, them into skyrimprefs.ini then change shadow bias scale to a larger number. you don't need a mod

thanks for your tips :)
BowedYapper  [autore] 19 apr 2014, ore 6:47
@Arthedáin: I think this might be a problem with your INI file, if you don't have any custom modifications, I'd recommend deleting your INI's hopefully this will solve the problem, if not it might be another mod (perhaps outdated?) so you may need to disable one by one to find the exact cause.

@BowedYapper

what can I do when having a line in front of me which loads the shadows really near to me?

its like a line in front of me which loads the shadows only 5 feet away from me and while I move it moves with me, it looks very ugly, plz help!
SocoJoe 23 mar 2014, ore 15:53
Works Great where it is important, I did notice some outdoor Striping, but I'm guessing this wasn't meant to fix that, thx for the mod.. :D
Light_112 20 mar 2014, ore 1:36
simple but cool mod, thanks for the mod
Not Me 17 mar 2014, ore 8:22

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=235965059 <--- check that out, lol. that's striped shadows using this mod on vanilla textures ultra graphics quality. Other than that I didn't see any other occurences of it (yet) but I started the game just today on that playthrough with the mod.
maclever 26 feb 2014, ore 19:07
@jhnwht, look at the mod dates man, of course it wont work in miraak's temple. dragonborn was released feb 2013, the mod was last updated aug 2012. mr smart man folks
jhnwht 15 feb 2014, ore 5:10
Doesn't work in Miraak's Temple.
paulzuk 9 feb 2014, ore 8:51
Fuchsschweif. Thanks for the info. Perhaps BOSS is glitched, which is very possible. Wish I could play my game and find out. I keep starting a new game & it crashes just when the dragon appears, during the second flash on the screen. Google keeps coming up with dead ends, so the solution eludes me.
Foxes hunting hounds 9 feb 2014, ore 3:52
funny thing is, even though it is included in the unofficial skyrim patch, and i certainly do have all those patches activated, it does not work for me.
so, i downloaded this mod, no more striped shadows! but as soon as i deactivate it - back to the stripes.
paulzuk 9 feb 2014, ore 2:11
Just a heads up. If you already use the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, there is no need to download this, because it's already included. BOSS picked it up as an error and advised me to delete it as a result. Perhaps this is worth mentioning in the description. All the same, appreciate what you have done. I just want to help people avoid conflicts in their game, especially those who don't know enough to use Nexus Mod Manager, Wrye Smash and BOSS.
Tiktaalik 7 feb 2014, ore 10:26
I almost miss those striped bastards now. They were my steadfast friends way back in my sneaking days, as I crept over rocks in the moonlight . . . but that was before the arrow.

Great mod. It is almost unnerving seeing clean surfaces.
Darth_Stu 24 gen 2014, ore 12:21
one day i was in my home looking around at my creation and thought f**K me i hate those shadows i wish there was a mod to fix them. and then you came along and rocked my world with your simple but effective solution.
nice work buddy.
