So you're not alone in thinking this is a good tutorial video.
As for the links, I'm leaving them here and I'm going to leave the test as is.
I might be able to fix it but I think it's more fun like this and provides a 28 second speed run for anyone skilled enough to pull it off.

Would you mind giving me a list of known portal tricks.
Problem I found was that the portal pushes you out into the water, I guess I must be missing something. You obviously know how to rangle a portal a lot better then I can.
You also managed to find a couple of exploits I'll have to fix up, so thanks.
