Awesome map, just one thing though, the turrets in the final chamber can only be killed if you just go and push them without lifting them as you donot know where will the faithplates land you, so that was a little messy.

There's a problem with the first cube; it disintegrates before it even gets out of its spawner... what am I missing here?

There was a small glitch in the chambers. When you get the second cube and use the light bridge, sometimes the game thinks you hit the laser fields even though you're just walking on the bridge. It was very frustrating to get past but other then that, this was a great level.

In most maps turrets are so easy to beat, they might as well not even be there. These are a challenge, and not just because of the explosive factor. The timer seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way. I agree that I'd rather test my brain than my mousing agility, but it's really not that hard once you figure out the sequence.

Liked the graphics and atmosphere but the timer ruined it for me. A game for a quick computer more than a quick mind I think. I hate clocks in tests as they're so much more about mouse acrobatics than brains.Too bad.

I had a good time with this one. Except, I also got stuck at the fizzler with the short timer for an extraordinary amount of time. I guess I'm just thick. Finally watched that part of your playthrough. Man, you move quick. I move fast (probably not that fast) when playing first-person shooter games, but usually not when playing Portal, which was why I had so much trouble with that bit. Easy once I saw what to do, it just never occurred to me. Duh.

Thoroughly enjoyed this excellent map. You gave good signs and direction to keep me going in the right direction. Hearing Glados was a treat also. I think I spent the most time at the fizzler with the short timer. Of course I died a few times during the game but I was pleasantly surprised to find I didn't have to start over. Nice. Those are some touchy turrets. I touched one without picking it up and it still exploded. Whew. Thanks for the great map. Here's one of mine. Disorder And Confusion

I'd probably say medium difficulty, even though I died lots, it wasn't "hard". Because I didn't explore up the top, I wasted lots of time wandering around below. If I solved it again, I wouldn't go down the bottom, instead just take both cubes up the top and leave.

was not disappointed from this map. i got the companion cube into the first room by making a portal at the ceiling, using teh faith plate with the cube and dropping it into the portal.... is that the intended solution? there was this strange room with the lasers and the portalable surfaces down left in the companion cube room... should i have somehow used it? thanks for the map :)

Hello @The Multiwinians Exactly. These are the same maps. Just renamed the titles. Is the fact that the turrets are explosive was a strong enough argument for me to make the change. Hope I did not disappoint visitors old.

Is this basiccally a similar remake of "Damn Turrets", a previous collection of yours but with this has instead explosive turrets instead of regular ones. Its similar because all of the levels have the same name as the levels from Damn Turrets. And many things from this collection look and play similar as to Damn Turrets.

Hi @mood3rd. I do not intend to create new maps. Will end my career as a modder with these 3 maps. But I'm ending to a super-mega-update them all. The update will have the following changes: 1. Visual ultra is better. 2nd. Voices of GlaDOS. 3rd. Music ITP non-standard 4. Sound effects of environment. 5th. Some special effects (few).

just had another go.
the cube dispenser positioning above the deep pit, is great.
especialy with the pedestal button.
it would have been so fiddly without this setup.
the message saying we need 2 cubes, is also very helpfull.

was not clear of where to go, or what to do first.
but challenges were good, not to hard or to easy.
just right.
I forgot at fist that I could respawn the cube, that was behind the lasser field,
by the 3 faithplates.
if you like killing turrets, I have made 4 turret killing maps.

@ThreeFingeredJack. Thanks for playing. My three maps are designed to be solved in different ways by each player. What I tried to stop, there was the possibility of someone without having to solve at least 50% of the challenge. Thanks to my tireless playtester @ big_n00b I managed to eliminate 100% of the bugs that make this possible.

I dont know if i was supposed to, but i just used the three turrets standing one behind the other to kill one of the two standing behind the light bridge by acting as a target, then, knocked the other down while using the block as a shield. Then i just stood there behind the block at the front of the line while the turrets killed each the one in front, exploded, and knocked all the others down. Didnt get it tbh. Liked the light bridge thing though with the slight gap behind the fizzler :)
