I have all plugins of the mods in Nexus, but I don´t know what I have to do with that files, if I want to install the mods from steam in Nexuss.
yannik.schulz Apr 19, 2014 @ 4:58am
can it be that Nexus cost anything? I´ve seen a short film from 2012 on Youtube. The guy which had posted it said, that a new account is for free. Right now it costst and I won´t pay for it. I think that Nexuss is a bit better in dealing with mods than steam, isn´t it?
Nydarkfern May 22, 2013 @ 12:50pm
that is my question also, do u have to plant new trees or does this modify ones there? and compatibility issues?
BLOODREDSAINT May 18, 2013 @ 4:21pm
Im sorry I'm tired and I'm looking at this. It looks cool and all but tell me if I'm wrong, do I actually have to plant these trees?
Gandalf The Digital May 17, 2013 @ 2:23pm

hey guys sorry I haven't updated the steam version for a while, although I have made several new dev version on the skyrim nexus. I'm working on a new one for steam users which will have 104 new trees, a new aspen forest, and I will try to get the Markarth forest back (I took it out in 0.3 because of LOD issues with the area).
tom-schouteet Jul 15, 2012 @ 3:37am
looks good
Jah-ziLLa Jul 13, 2012 @ 9:25pm
does this mod slow the game in anyway, use too much ram etc.
fredrikjonsson74 Jul 7, 2012 @ 1:40pm
Ok thanks for the answer (damn damn....Bethesda/Skyrim for being so full of bugs).
Well keep up the great work and kudos to you Sir.
petermarcusclarke  [author] Jul 7, 2012 @ 12:52pm
Hey guys, still working on the steam version. But I released a new dev version on skyrim nexus which adds jungle trees!

Fredrikjonsson, I can populate the Markarth region with trees but until Bethesda fix LOD generation for cells beyond the 32x32 limit then it will be impossible to generate LOD's in the markarth region. I speak of this in the read me, all other areas of Tamerial seem to ok, but the reach area generally has problems with LOD generation (Bethesda's fault not mine)
fredrikjonsson74 Jul 6, 2012 @ 2:02am
Really like the look of this! Would it be possible that you would consider to make a mod wich looks like the Markarthregionpictures i mean-replacing all or almost all the dull dead trees of that region with those wounderful trees of yours. That would be really great if you could and did i understand it correctly that you are planning on making a forest that will be called The Forest of Wo!?

ps thanks for all the subscribers, I'll treat you all to version 0.34 which is the skyrim nexus version with all the tutorials and stuff also packed into the bsa file if you want to extract them, and a larger forest forest players instead of modders. pps. my name on Skyrim Nexus is
Ga-Knomboe Boy if anyone has had trouble finding me. I kinda wish I knew how to change my viewed name in steam to my account name (gaknomboeboy), not sure why its displaying my actual name.

Hey guys, I uploaded a new version (0.33) onto skyrim nexus, the next verison will have more trees, this one is mainly a bug fix, it fixes all the collision meshes of the trees that had problems in version (0.31). Updating the model files will not change the position of your placed trees unless you are still using the steam version (0.25). Sorry for the delay with updating the steam version, the problem is I've been busy with architectural work and it took 3 days to work out a proper solution for the collision meshes. Anyway, the next version (0.35) will have some cool stuff including, aspen trees with no leaves, aspen trees with small green brown leaves (variations of the existing red, orange, and yellow ones), fixed lighting for many of the trees, and I will have a look at making some trees with pink, purple and bluish hues for Mehrunes Paradise fantasy style forests if you guys played oblivion.

Hey man ur a life saver i've been looking for something like this for along time for my project, are you open to suggestions?

I loved the red Aspen trees as i've been wanting to make a red forrest for along time, but I noticed there was only 2 of them, if there was all 6 that would be great, also your green version of the WR temple tree; is it possible to remove that brownish bark stuff inbetween the roots with the white veigns in it, one more request; a pink set of trees like the temple sapling tree

Don't take this as a complaint this is probably the most useful mod I've come accross but if you're thinking of working on more there's my wishlist.

oooooohhh ok thanks I understand now : )

Paradox, The mod is primarily a modders resource. It provides level designers with new trees to use without replacing the ones in Skyrim. I have a small wooded area as an example but note, at this stage, I have only spent 1% of the time on the project doing level design. Placing lots of trees to make a forest is simple, the hard part is making assets which look good.So this provides level designers with the opportunity to add much more variety with their forests. I will be uploading a new version onto steam tonight with a large example forest, large enough for just players to appreciate, and all the data files in a BSA (however modders will require a bsa extractor to add the files to their mods and see the tutorials).
Nebulous Jul 2, 2012 @ 12:43pm
I dont understand how this mod works do you plant your own forest? or have u added like a million trees to skyrim to make it seem like a forest?
petermarcusclarke  [author] Jul 1, 2012 @ 11:22pm
Pjsuther, thats classic, didn't know my forest was magical.
Primauix, if you want I can send you files that will act as a replacer version, and replace the trees in skyrim. All the versions I have uploaded are designed specifically not to replace the skyrim trees, however it is very simple to make it so they do replace the skyrim trees, so if you'd like message me on skyrim nexus and I can hook you up.
Aplestormy, thank you very much, and please use the trees, they are made for modders, and thanks for the images, your new landscapes look lush and beautiful.

Unfrotunately steam doesn't allow you upload .zips and .rars, only .bsa's and .esp's, which is why I still don't have the updated version of this on steam. Please look at the skyrim nexus link for the current version. I will upload a version to steam soon however, unfortunately it will require modders to use a bsa extractor to view all the files.
Aplestormy Jun 30, 2012 @ 5:37pm
You are a god sir. Do you mind if I use them in my series of mods "Towns and Villages Enhanced"? Full credit of course :D I have wanted something like this to work with for ages!
FLUFFYBOI Jun 30, 2012 @ 5:14pm
@petermarcusclarke could you tell me if i could first delete all the trees in skyrim and make them look kinda like the amazon? plz tell me and give pointers
pjsuther Jun 30, 2012 @ 1:04pm
Wow - nicely done! Magical too - somehow my original horse that had died months ago during combat emerged from your forest, healthy as ever. Glad to see Ol' Paint again...
Fatrick Jun 30, 2012 @ 10:34am
I first read KGB Green Trees xD
petermarcusclarke  [author] Jun 30, 2012 @ 12:22am
I have uploaded a new version, it is on the skyrim nexus Still trying to figure out how to upload the data folder, or a zip onto steam, instead of a bsa so people don't need a bsa manager to extract the files for their own mod. I am aware that some players have no use for this as of yet. However, I started this project literally seven days ago, and only opened up the creation kit a week and a half ago. I will be adding my own large forest environments as the days progress for players, who just want to play rather than modders.
eagardh Jun 28, 2012 @ 2:52pm
Just so you are aware of the problem.... the CK is not available to everyone as you assume. There are Players that can not get the CK to ever work, it always says "unavailable", myself included. It is therefore impossible for us to make anything. We have to rely on you Modders that can use the CK or are skilled enough to make mods without it. This problemm has been reported on the forums with no replies from Steam.

Thank you for sharing your work, I appreciate it.
petermarcusclarke  [author] Jun 27, 2012 @ 10:27pm
If you want to place the objects in the creation kit with the objects already loaded (so you don't have to specify the model) download the nexus version. This comes with a data folder and gkbforest.esp, place the gkbforest.esp, meshes and texture folder from the data folder into your local data folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data)

The creation kit generally requires new content to be extracted for it to be able to render it. When you start up the creation kit select the skyrim and update master files but also select gkbforest.esp. Now in the object window, you will have gkb trees under the trees sub branch. If you want to see if they are there, go to Cell -39, 4. This is where the forest lies.

Hello, good pics.To bad is not work.On WS and on Nexus not.I love green world. Can you help me?
petermarcusclarke  [author] Jun 27, 2012 @ 8:55pm
making it so they are replacement models is actually a ton easier, and quicker. Furthermore it would fix issues I'm currently facing with the LOD's. I can get LOD's to work fine in custom world spaces, but it seems world spaces are limited to one tree texture atlas per world space, which means its basically impossible to add custom LOD's for entirely new objects if they are placed in the tamerial world space. This seems pretty retarded, so hopefully there is a work around. If all the trees were replaced with these ones it would fix the issue by replacing the (the tree texture atlas), however I want to make it so these trees are available in addition to the current skyrim ones, so there is more diversity, rather than forcing the new environment.

Since replacing the current models is the easy way I might upload a version in a couple days which does exactly this, but right now I'm busy designing buildings for work, so check back tomorrow or the day after.
Azu Sergal Jun 27, 2012 @ 4:41pm
You know what? I think if you made a mod that made whole skyrim green (instead of the ugly spring orange that it is in some parts) You'd get TONS of subs and fame and everything:) and i wouldnt play ever without it too:P subbed to this and im hoping you consider this
Rezxcore Jun 26, 2012 @ 10:56pm
Great mod dude! i would recommend this!
