I am incredibly proud to announce that the game I have been working on for the past year, Hazewalker, is now on Steam Greenlight!

Please check out our trailer and vote! Thank you so much for supporting me through my mods these last few years, it's been awesome. The best is yet to come.
Cool Karate Man Oct 1 @ 6:19pm
You the real MVP, man.

I actually found myself searching for that step when I first started playing the game 2 & 1/2 years ago. I was sad that I couldn't find it (I thought I mis-counted). But Alas, This mod fixes it! Thank you for this!
Super Shotty Bros. Mario Apr 12 @ 7:10pm
Got to say...for a mini mod that really does nothing to the game...this has got to be one of the most pleasing mods I've ever seen. FIXING the game so it is Lore accurate is...well...that's just cool. Kudos sir, and even a Kit-Kat bar, for that matter.
Xalto Mar 30 @ 4:01pm
You are the best! Just, I tried to get Frostfall, from the URL you wrote, but it told me the item has been moved or deleted. Is there another way to get it?
brendano1999 Feb 23 @ 4:35pm
@Chesko Wait, wait, wait, You've had a discussion concerning the difference between stair and step before?
llndmsn Feb 19 @ 10:53pm
I have to commend you fro your dedication to the lore, more dedicated than Bethesda!
ZenotoX [Fate Broadcaster] Dec 30, 2013 @ 2:34pm
This should've been in the number one spot, if at least for a day.
BrigadierShanker Dec 27, 2013 @ 12:12am
Taleonas Dec 19, 2013 @ 6:52pm
Sir, I salute you, your mod and your dedication to being awesome. Keep it up.
Tacoman736 Dec 7, 2013 @ 1:57pm
I would like to ask, Are there actually other mods that change the 418 step?
wpogowee88 Oct 26, 2013 @ 4:52pm
This is insane that you caught it and I must say I am truly impressed. No one other than those who read nearly every book for its lore value and are truly dedicated to seeing every peice of lore displayed would have caught this. I tip my hat to you.
chardo527 Oct 6, 2013 @ 10:07pm
Wow... I never would cought that!
PEANUTx420 Sep 20, 2013 @ 6:37pm
its the little things that count ;)
Chesko  [author] Sep 14, 2013 @ 8:29am
jimmi.andreasen - Bethesda's definition of "step" is each stone that makes up the path, not each "stair". There are only 600-700 "stairs".

I really don't feel like having this discussion again.
jimmi Sep 14, 2013 @ 7:52am
counted the steps once too and (depending on what you deem a step) it's closer to be the 700 steps that 7000
Spooky Rawr Sep 5, 2013 @ 5:50pm
I tip my hat to you, good sir.
paipaichan Aug 31, 2013 @ 1:57pm
Perhaps the Thalmor took it out?
npagss May 29, 2013 @ 5:16pm
Im not sure I have had any more respect for anyone than I have for you right now...
Bendickson Apr 30, 2013 @ 8:24pm
Holy shit, the attention to detail and dedication to the lore just to think of making this mod is amazing. I salute you, friend.
Chesko  [author] Apr 11, 2013 @ 7:38pm

Tiber Septim, also known as General Talos, Hjalti Early-Beard, the Dragonborn, and Ysmir...
rdcherry7 Apr 11, 2013 @ 4:14pm
Ysmir wasn't Talos, Tiber Septim became Talos after he died. And Tiber Septim was alive during the second era. I was reading the decription and just thought I'd let you know it's not Ysmir that is Talos. Unless you were implying that he has some other connection with Talos.

is anything supposed to happen when you click on the inscription !!!!!
JClancy Mar 9, 2013 @ 4:45am
pretty cool
sbbbugsy Mar 6, 2013 @ 3:24pm
Ah, the most studied of the Three Sacred Steps. The lesser known 274th step marks where Wulfharth was run over by a spooked elk, while the all-but-forgotten 523rd step is where he paused to relieve himself. :)
fistofdoom Mar 1, 2013 @ 5:33pm
nice idea, makes this more authentic in game
Zar Pof Feb 17, 2013 @ 10:21pm
No there are closer to 700 steps. The number varies depending on what you call a step (is a weather worn jutting rock a step or natural?).
bubb rubb Jan 30, 2013 @ 1:48pm
@Celethiel I personally have counted. Yes. Yes there are.
Tsukiumi Jan 20, 2013 @ 12:31pm
@Hazard no i believe he counted all 7,000
Degrelecence Jan 17, 2013 @ 7:38am
lol I don't know why, but I feel I have to sub... Simplest but somehow one of the most awesome mods ever!
TheFlyingDixieCups Jan 7, 2013 @ 9:34am
... I didn't realize you were also the author of Frostfall. Definitely trying this mod.. XD
Lexily1 Jan 5, 2013 @ 4:32pm
I will take pause at the 418th...(This is so great! The immersion and creativity).
Gundan Jan 3, 2013 @ 1:27am
hmm....I thought I clicked this already
Hazardousthing Dec 30, 2012 @ 8:33pm
A moment of reverance, for my new lord and master, he who counted 418 steps on the way up to High Hrothgar. Lets give him a hand! Or a whole arm!
Celethiel Dec 30, 2012 @ 5:34pm
O.O so are there actually 7,000 steps?
MMF Legacy Dec 25, 2012 @ 6:21pm
Forgive my ignorance, but I my attempt to figure out what this is failed miserably.
EldritchSyntax Nov 27, 2012 @ 11:39am
take two steps forward and be even closer to High hrothgar
[AK] Penitent Exile Nov 11, 2012 @ 8:22am
It would be cool to have a mod, that adds lots of such little details into Skyrim. Some even can be interactive.
x7homx Nov 3, 2012 @ 2:52pm
Unbelievable. Subbed.
Jaradyne Nov 2, 2012 @ 2:41pm
I love this mod, and I love that the number is 418.
Jackal Oct 31, 2012 @ 8:19pm
Tuiat Oct 14, 2012 @ 12:57am
Finally :'D This is a small detail I knew Bethesda would overlook. xD
not this bullshit again Oct 9, 2012 @ 9:00am
Nice attention to detail; liked, favorited and subbed :)
Weirdprism Sep 18, 2012 @ 7:54pm
i counted, theres 7000 exactly. each step being a stone, not a row of stones, like chesko said earlier
SmokyQuartzzz Aug 29, 2012 @ 10:45pm
wow man, pretty cool. such a simple thing, but like 2000 people have wandered up and down for a while trying to find your step....just like i did. and it was worth it. you're a little bit more awesome.
Chesko  [author] Aug 29, 2012 @ 7:35am
As far as I know, yes. I haven't counted them all.

Bethesda's definition of "step" is each stone that makes up the path, not each "stair". There are only 600-700 "stairs".
