well i gotta say that was a good map. you had some brain twisters in there but it was not too hard to work out. Once again i think i make have completed the map in a way that you did not intend. i put a portal in the shaft that you fall down and used it to get back to the first room so I could take the cube that I was using to turn of the blue field. good all in all #F4F

if you added items, you may have to removw antlines or items, to make it work.

your update is great:
their is no need for the flip panel at the begining.
you can just portal across the goo.
but very importantly, if the cube gets destroyed by the piston,
it now respawns & player can try again, without having to re-start the map :)
laser field removed, stopping us getting traped :)
the stairs part is good.
& everything else :)

great idea.
good map+
some problems:
if piston comes down on cube, it destroys it.
be nice in this event, to have a cube dropper, drop a cube into funel, under lasser field.
would mean re-design, before piston area.
I went down pit & landed on rim of laser field, alive but traped.
suggest either portable area here, to go back or
make sure we die by moving walls laser field is attached to out wards,
to make rims of laser field unreachable when falling.
I thought you had a Tractor Beam which should have been a Tractor Beam Polarity.
(sinage not obvious) but I thought of other cube & possible use. then had a good look around & found the signage). it all came together then.

still a very good map. thumbs up.

Nice map, very well done. I did get stuck once, if you fall down the pit with the laser grid and hit one of the flanges to save yourself (which I did), there is still no way to recover, but I can't think of a way to fix that, other than don't fall down the hole. :P As to the chamber itself, I have a few pointers. At the end, it's not entirely clear that you need the 2nd cube, and it's not clear which button does what (as in the important funnel). I don't look at the screen shots or description before playing so as to have a "clean" run. Again, can't think of a way to make it better, so good work! Difficulty 7/10 Design 6/10

This is my blind run [dl.dropbox.com]. But it is shame, i forgot about the second cube, twice! xD Initially i was thinking that is unsolvable, But I looked at the screenshots and thought: "I also have another cube!" after this the final task looked not so hard =)

Thought I was stuck at the beginning because I didn't saw the button to reverse the funnel X) But then the puzzle was cool ^^ No exploit found, the cube path at the end was challenging but not too much, and your "cathedral" level design is fine as usual ;)

You already tried a lot of my maps, I just put a link to my workshop here, in case someone is interested :p

Hey Frazzled, there is a secret lift in the last chamber that brings you back up so you don't need to restart Let me know how you go :)

I got stuck by obtain the first cube, place it on the button that opens the hatch to downstairs. Walk to the hatch (through the wall that cancels any active portals. Jump down the hatch to downstairs. I don't see anyway to get back upstairs. I learned not to do that, so after a restart I was able to complete the map. But providing some means of getting unstuck would be good.

Hey, thanks very much for playing my map and your positive feedback, it is always good to hear :) I'm a little confused with the feedback about getting stuck as you shouldn't if you still have the cube in tact, I'll check it out in case there is a glitch. Very, VERY neat. My only criticism is that if you go downstairs unprepared you are stuck and have to restart. I'm still adding it to my favorites, as I love the final mechanism. Bravo!

like the level design, pretty tricky map. Took several tries before I figured it out.
