Finally! a mod what helps with the blades. i don't like them wanting me to kill paarthurnax, and now i can save him.
Velocistar 25 Tem @ 9:18am
THANK YOU! I always loved paarthurnax and thought the blades were idiots wanting to kill him thank you!

CrazyCrux 24 Tem @ 8:16pm
This is possibly the BEST elder scrolls mod I have EVER come across. And this is coming from someone who has been modding since Morrowind!
KebabT90 24 Tem @ 1:25pm
When i was talking to delphine all of a sudden i talked dragon launguage, that really caught me off guard but nevertheless im thankfull you made this mod
2 Para-UK 23 Tem @ 4:03am
so what do i have to say to the blades?
Reticent Gleam 22 Tem @ 7:03pm
Thank you for this. It always annoyed me that I couldn't tell Delphine to shove it when she demanded I kill the NPC who was MOST helpful in defeating Alduin, and that Esbern would go along with that illogical, vindictive stance.
The Amazing Racist 20 Tem @ 9:02pm
Or. you can just use console commands to make them non-essential npc's and slaughter them. After putting the blades to the sword, I hid their bodies in the slave quarters of castle draco to use as dead thralls
forgotten being 19 Tem @ 7:57pm
I really like the dialogue you used, especially what the Dragonborn says, but I wish it was voice acted. Oh well, at least Paarthurnax isn't dead, and I can recruit people into the Blades!
typhoondiving 19 Tem @ 2:06pm
I loved Paarthurnax as he was teaching me on my quest to save Skyrim. Since in the game you don't have any parents or older relatives, he kinda felt like a really wierd, scaly, oversized father... :-/
I kinda wish that he had other things for me to do after the quest line is completed cause he just fades into the background after you're done. Instead of having only things to chat about, he should have things that lead me on adventures.
[HCE] Cpt. Headcrab 18 Tem @ 7:56pm
@TheGman Destroying everything would be fun.
The Boss 16 Tem @ 11:54am
first I don't think the blades truly care about the dragonborn I think they just want to kill every dragon and they use the dragonborn as their puppet and the only reason they protected the others before the dragon's return was because if they came back they would have their pinocioe at the ready!.
but that aside you should make a different version of this when paarthurnax and the greybeards convince you that the blades are evil in truth and you and them kill all the gavered blades and new recruits (added in by you) and after lots of tracking down small bands, taking there equipment, taking over forts they control (added in by you) and finding your own recruits (added in by you.) You storm to the blades fort place where you find out about how the dragons were gone in the first place, to kill all the blades. I know the greybeards are mainly peaceful but everyone has a dark side!
rbull 16 Tem @ 7:46am
This mod made so much sense to me since you had the choice to destroy the Dark Brotherhood or join.
I wish I had the choice to destroy the Theives Guild and that Black-Brier B-tch, Mabon and her son. You could make her non-essential and it would make my day! I'd like to take a shot at that Imperial Yarl in the Blue Palace also if someone could make a Clean-up Tamriel mod.

Me and Mjoll would be a great team to save Rifton and the rest of Tamriel from the evils that plague Tamriel.
Is there missing dialogue for Delphine and Esburn? I see character conversation options but I don't hear the NPC talking.
GhostNappa585 15 Tem @ 1:58pm
What kind of open world game would this be if you couldn't choose the other road?
TheGman 15 Tem @ 11:29am
I was so annoyed when I saw that you can't not kill Paarthurnax, frankly, i would rather kill Delphine and Esbern instead. You know what? call me a villan but i'd rather side with Alduin and end the world with him, that would probably be more fun.
faithk9 14 Tem @ 5:36am
thanks for making it : )
faithk9 14 Tem @ 5:36am
this looks pretty cool i like that you can have more of a choice now
jsherman0018 12 Tem @ 8:07pm
@ Arthmoor I agree
Galinbradwarn 11 Tem @ 9:30am
Like the idear but do the CW first then the main and boom leave the two non Blades who don't have any knolage of the last 200 years rot in the temple, once i get them there thats it never see the bitch again and all is right with the world, to the Oblivion player this will make sence, the blades let Uriel Septim VII die then there funky boss helped Martin save the day, and the last good deed thay did was help save the city, as for these two flush them down the drain.
Nordic Hoplite 10 Tem @ 12:15pm
Awesome. Glad I have this now before I get to that part. Definately a thumbs up from me
Fuse018 8 Tem @ 8:12am
Thanks a lot for the mod mate.
Adding this to the questline was a stupid decision by the developers.
rhexxbex324 8 Tem @ 7:26am
@LarrytheGardenGnome he does that because he is a passive npc so you have to keep attaking him and eventually he will fight you
DovaDwarf 7 Tem @ 6:53pm
I got a steam error 16 when I downloaded it
alexanderos123 7 Tem @ 2:13pm
if youre joining the blades with this mod, will you be able to speak with the greybeards then?
Bunnehpowerz 4 Tem @ 8:50pm
I love the lines of dialogue between the Dragonborn and Delphine, it seemed really fitting. Quick question though, after sparing Paarthurnax and uninstalling this mod will it glitch?
Larry the Garden Gnome 30 Haz @ 5:45pm
Umm this is without the mod, but was i the only one who experienced paarthurnax stayign there, flying up a bit, coming down and not even defending himself? is he glitching or excepting his fate ???
Charlemagne 29 Haz @ 7:16pm
At what moment is it that can I talk to Delphine and tell her to stuff it? I tried right after the Season Unending negotiation (e.g., right after she gave me the quest to kill good ol' Paarthie) but no dialog in that sense came up (just the vanilla "kill him or else").
Arthmoor  [yaratıcı] 28 Haz @ 12:17pm
No, it doesn't delete the quest. It simply offers you an alternative means of solving it. You're still free to kill him if that's what you want to do.
ProoFFie 28 Haz @ 8:31am
As I understand, it deletes the quest to kill Paarthurnax. Actually you can complete this quest by a simple command: setstage MQPaarthurnax 100. It will end the quest and won't change attitude with Greybeards and Blades.
Furuichi 27 Haz @ 5:32am
На что мод то?
demonrojas17 25 Haz @ 9:31am
thank you so much foor this lol i wouldnt even do the blades because of thatquest
The Slender Man 25 Haz @ 12:18am
First time i played I didn't kill Parth.. instead i attacked delphine unfortunatly she didn't die.. that was my only regret..
attackferret 24 Haz @ 12:51pm
This is perfect!
Sometimes, games think the best artistic route is to force you to choose between two unsatisfying choices, but an otherwise very open-ended game like this shouldn't, in my humble opinion.
robo9292 24 Haz @ 8:28am
THANK YOU. I have, for so long, wanted to tell Delphine to knock it off, and because of you, I can.
Fucking finally, thank you for making this mod.
Galinbradwarn 16 Haz @ 10:08pm
of the beat and track but this is just an idear, make a quest or part of one that you get to tell the bitch Delphine that her blades let Uirel Septim die do to being dorks and that they are not the so called dragon killers as the Akavery where hence forcing martin to die to end the 3rd area and start the 4th and costing the septim line to end and loose there birth right.
oh how i hate her and Baz for letting that slip into game
panzerburns 14 Haz @ 7:17pm
Yes, this is exactly what I needed! Thank you!
Arthmoor  [yaratıcı] 13 Haz @ 12:20pm
You need to turn your subtitles on - the lines are not voiced.
palorius 11 Haz @ 10:01pm
I know it's a cheezy complaint, but I can't hear Delphines argument when I give her a tongue lashing. Is it a problem with the dialogue that you couldn't fix? Is is supposed to be that way?
darkknight957 11 Haz @ 6:15pm
excellent concept I put rideable Dragons in the playerfaction to fight along side the Dragonborn I would never kill Paarthurnax Actually I would seriously consider perdoning him for his crimes. My mother lived in Arrass France when the Germans invaded. She was a 10 year old girl in the line of refugees, she made it safely to Paris. My Grandfather hid allied pilots for the French underground.Killing Hiller wow the lives he would have saved.
gcsickboy 9 Haz @ 3:35am
@rodbaker82, your analogy is flawed. A better one would be, "If I told you a high ranking SS officer midway through WW2 had gone rogue, assisted the resistance in assassinating Hitler, and was instrumental in the Allies victory over the Nazis, would you pardon him for his crimes prior to switching sides?"
KnPx Dunny 8 Haz @ 10:03am
I always hated killing Paarthurnax just to complete a quest. I'm so glad I found this mod. Paarthurnax is so awesome to listen to and has a sweet voice. Thanks for making this.
UrKungFuNoGood 7 Haz @ 9:06am
Thank you. I still haven't been able to bring myself to kill Parthy and do the Blades storyline. I am looking forward to the main quest now on this new character build
P.S. Thanks for also being an active member of the Creation Kit forums. I appreciate your help

@rodbaker82 Yes. Personally I would, although the Holocaust was terrible and WWI and WWII were terrible, he (or well, his doctors) DID give us great advances in medicine, he was an awful person, but if he was alive, and he cured cancer, he could be forgiven. (as it would prove that all of the stuff he did was for a better cause) ...
Opera Man 3 Haz @ 7:50pm
@Calebhitman you dont haft to kill him you can countinue the story as normal.
Calebhitman 2 Haz @ 5:16pm
I refused to finish the game because I had to kill him so thank you!!!!
Trouble_ 31 May @ 7:59am
@rodbaker82 Paarthurnax is actually not really a dragon. Well, he is, but he does not kill humans or anything like that. He is basically a Greybeard.
rodbaker82 31 May @ 5:50am
Woah, woah, if I told you Hitler was alive and he cured cancer. Does that mean you would exempt him from all his past crimes?
Tom 30 May @ 2:17pm
I'm not sure if anyone doesn't already know this, but even without this mod you do NOT need to kill Paarthurnax simply to advance the main quest. It appears as a "side quest" and eventually disappeared from my quest journal after I didn't kill him (bug.) However, this mod allows you to spare him and become a Blade at the same time, which you couldn't do in the original game.
