It's an awesome mod, but their skins sometime look some sort of flat, like they had no scales. But despite this It's great, Keep it up.

"In local news today, a freak winter storm has taken place over the Black March, turing this once Argonian paradise into a frozen wasteland. The locals have been doing their best to adapt to these new harsh conditions, thanks to their Dragonborn, a local Argonian who was once a war prisoner now set free. Nope, sorry, it's an all-or-nothing change. The mod changes races' models and not characters themselves. That's also why it can cause problems with custom races.

I'm sorry if some mods just doesn't go well with this one. I just don't know a way to make sure all skin mods works well, it just checks the default directories and if another mod creates and uses a custom folder in the skyrim directories, this mod won't see it.

Mostly, yes. In Dawnguard, Serena might have black eyes, and the final encounter is a race customly made by Besthesda that doesn't get changed by this mod. Dragonborn and all other Dawnguard NPCs should be fine.

The nords have been extra edited to make them like argonians, unlike other races which are a normal body and head swap, because of user requests. Nords loses most of its facial traits to be more argonian.

User dragoninahuman has made a mod that makes faces looks a little better, but otherwise I don't see much things that are messed up if you play on default skyrim or with a high definition skin.

The race customization tools have been left untouched, so that every argonian doesn't look the same. I'm not a lizard biologist, so you'll have to point what you think looks messed up.

This mod is uncompatible with other race mods that uses default human parts, so I can't fix the Mirrak mod you speak of without integrating it into the mod itself. It's the same problem with the cats mods and khajiit custom races~

The next part, you have to change the child body parts. They are in their own sections of Headparts, but you don't need to worry about that because you only deals with humans, so all you have to change the hair in the Face Data tab. If you duplicated the NordHeads, you can replace the heads for every race here too.

Now, there are more things you can change, like hieght, voice, and others things. Change them at your will and leisure, just remember to preview.

Once you're finally done, you need to manually make an empty .BSA file with the archive.exe program in your Skyrim folder, and name it like your mod. Skyrim's automatic .BSA maker when you compile will almost assuredly crash. Compile it and use that .BSA and you can start uploading the mod to the Workshop.

Play with the Creation Kit if things doesn't work, if anything use raw and brute ways to force body parts into races if you want. Experimentation, thinking and stubborness leads to results.

Everything that loads by default must be changed. All the data is provided in the .BSA files that you unpacked. The more you want to be changed to Nords, the more you have to change. That can includes eyes, mouths, head, but also hair, brows, beards. horns, scars and things like piercings. Make everything Nord. Do that for both gender, again. If you want, you can duplicate the NordHeads, and change the valid Races, but I don't guarantee it has the exact results. This will take you severals hours, probably days depending on your hand's endurance.

Next, return to the race section and open the menu for Nords. This is an only easy part: move to the Tinting tab and there should be a button Copy Data. Open every race that you wish to change, and find the Paste Data on the same tab. Don't forget to set a Texture Set and to make sure both genders are affected.

You need the Creation Kit and a .BSA file unpacker, which should be unpacked into a vanilla skyrim install. Unpack every Skyrim .bsa files.

In the Creation Kit, browse into the race section in Character, open each race you want to change and first change Morph Data and Armor Data to Nords. Move to the Body Data tab and change the skeleton from beast races to normal skeletons, human-like. Do that for both gender. Do the same for the Skin.

Still in Character, move to the Headparts. Now, you have to select each headparts for each race and manually change them. Double-click on a part, for example, HairArgonianMale01, MaleEyesKhajiitBlue or FemaleHeadOrc, and change the Model .NIF file by loading through your install path. They are not always in the folder it automatically open into. Do it again for the Tri .TRI file. If you're editing eyes, mouths or heads, you have to switch the Texture Set too, as well as the Chargen Morphs.

i think i spend 12-14 hours on it in a grand total, but you know, everyone benefits from this, it was annoying me, so instead of just complaining, why not fix it? and now everyone can enjoy it ^_^

i dont have all the icons for all the city's, but my texture patch does :D

i just completed a new update to the Derp Face Cure mod!
this new version now also fixes all DLC NPC's!
for now its only on the nexus, becouse i think you might be able to use it if you dont have all the DLC's, but to be sure, i dont want to couse pepole's games crashing, so untill somone tested it, and confirmed that you dont actually need the need all the DLC's for it, it stayes on the nexus.

Hmm, perhaps the new dummy .BSA file could be causing trouble? The version at http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20727 doesn't have the .BSA requirement, so you could try downloading that one.

That likely is not because of this mod, so you should check your other mods. Maybe one that could conflicts with this one or just clean your mod load order. There is literally no new content to this mod, just some graphic redirection, which uses all default skyrim data.

@Julum also, adding onto the list of glitches, im not sure if my texture bug patch for this mod works with older versions, so you might have a lot of derp faces.

People not having their races successfully changed into argonians, missing eyes, floating faces, floating jaws, bad child proportions, etc. Also, originally, khajiits remained khajiits and I was requested to edit all nords into 100% pure argonians.

I have changed the internal system a couple time to brute force the success of the mod working because many people had hit or miss success with the game loading the mod properly, so I wouldn't want to retake from that version. It would plausible to rewrite the mod from scratch with the newest structure and keep the hair, but don't expect it to come overnight. I'll post an update here eventually, and upload it to the nexus.

I wouldn't say lost...but primitive. It was one of the first versions and would have all the errors and glitches I patched since. I could put a version like that on the skyrim nexus, but not on the workshop.
