Having all four cubes aligned like that was really satisfying.

Got it. It's pretty easy, but elegant.
Petutski Mar 25 @ 9:37pm
Is it just me or do others not know about F6 to save and F7 to restore! I don't know how I would survive some chambers without this save/restore function.
Petutski Mar 25 @ 9:35pm
Very nice! And great fun! Exactly what a chamber should be.

This chamber should've been named "cube hunting" BAD

Very nice. This map is a blast.

A very simple yet fun map! I enjoyed it very much!

Also, I just finished my third map today! I'm looking for honest feedback on each of the three I've developed so far. They are designed to be fun, investigative maps. Typically, no antlines or signs to aide in what controls what, you observe and move forward. They aren't too hard.

map needs auto-saves for each room's puzzels. I got quite annoyed when halfway thorugh the map I died falling into the water and then had to restart at the very beginning again :/
xaliboir Jul 5, 2013 @ 10:41am
i had alot of fun doig this puzzle and i hope you make another
The Inquisitor Jun 13, 2013 @ 5:21pm
I hit post comment and realised what I was missing nice map thumbs up for sure
The Inquisitor Jun 13, 2013 @ 5:16pm
to all below(about auto saves) as I was just recintly reminded F6 (I think) is the Q save use it instead of complain. auto saves are nice but you can not do that with the puzzle maker. and since there is a Q save there is no need to download and learn a new program for just one unneeded thing. nice map although I have got stuck, missing 2 cubes. I will try again another time.
Webg33k Jun 3, 2013 @ 5:53pm
The room with the speed gel, the blue funnel, and the bouncing cube is too easy to die in, and requires you to start the whole thing over again. I would suggest making it harder to die in the that room, without making it any easier.
µVinneri @ KönniLan May 26, 2013 @ 11:07am
It was fun, exept the fact that when you might die in two last puzzles, you have to make the first two again..
Max_Ooze May 3, 2013 @ 7:36am
Way too random
akise  [author] Mar 31, 2013 @ 11:03pm
So as to know the order by the number of light, instead of a number, whether there have noticed I do not know.
KptnJ Mar 31, 2013 @ 3:28pm
I'd really appreciate numbering each room. In the upper central hub, having some sort of number system to give a hint which chamber you did in what order would help a lot in avoiding pointless wandering.
Alec Mar 10, 2013 @ 11:54pm
Superb but definitely needs some checkpoints, it's really not fun having to do it all again, and again, and again, every time you accidentally screw up.
kimist108 Feb 22, 2013 @ 2:38pm
Fun

nice man, good work

Great map, but you should add autosaves. Google "BeeMOD", it's a small expansion for the map editor (simple install, integrates with the PeTI map maker nicely), that let's you place triggers for autosaves and also some new elements to puzzles. Much more elegant than F6 and F7. Also check out my map, it also has multiple rooms so it's cut into smaller challenges. Also has autosave from BeeMOD. - 4 rooms

Long... May I suggest fizzlers instead of deadly water?
artao Dec 15, 2012 @ 8:34pm
Excellent Test Chamber. I really like the re-use ... I did get a bit stuck at first trying to figure out how to use what is contained in a side-room to get back to the main room, until I realized I could reach the portalable surfaces there-in LOL
Insp. Gadget Dec 10, 2012 @ 11:51am
So, I liked the puzzle and the design. However, it needs a checkpoint or two.
I dislike using quicksave/load since it's pretty cheap so I opted to go without.

Maybe consider changing it so you HAVE to time it correctly to pickup the cube between the two faith plates? As is, I missed it and was able to grab it on the way back via the blue tunnel.

Not very difficult but still a nice map.
Nekro Extravaganza Nov 24, 2012 @ 3:03pm
Perfect map, thanks for work!
yphastos Nov 23, 2012 @ 8:02pm
...forgot to say, i actually died a lot in those pits, and had to start over from the begining, so people, remember to use quick save / load! ( F6 / F7 ) i didn't realized that till a lot of deaths
yphastos Nov 23, 2012 @ 8:00pm
Excelent! not that difficult but yet one of the best so far! congrats. I'm looking forward to more like this! =)
mausilibaer Nov 10, 2012 @ 5:26pm

I mean, it was challenging, dying often (Especially since I just bought Portal for PC) but it was a fun level. Nice job.
pabtheghost Nov 6, 2012 @ 6:57pm
way too long of a puzzle to have with no checkpoints
El Judio Nov 3, 2012 @ 11:39am

Well in a way the lack of check points do make it more of a challenge since you have to do it with out dying, but some people who are not so good at portal may find it frustraiting, that being said checkpoints after 2 keys or so would be my only suggestion other than that I really enjoyed your chamber.
akise  [author] Nov 1, 2012 @ 6:22am
sorry I do not know how to make a checkpoint.
| § | Inglorious | Nov 1, 2012 @ 6:20am
Not a bad map but needs checkpoints.

Fantastic map, but it really needs checkpoints. Falling in the water after completing 3/4ths of the blocks made me ragequit.
Cysiek Sep 4, 2012 @ 9:17am
Very fun to solve for my brain.
fellswalker Sep 2, 2012 @ 10:28am
A nice little map, but with a little too much dying for my taste....
wing-[HK] Sep 1, 2012 @ 7:25pm
good!

Awesome map here, keep it up!
Thanks for this map, I enjoyed it very much!
Want to try out the hardest map in the worshop?
For all of those who were waiting for my newest map (and for all of those who are new to my maps),here's a link to my newest map called "Cubelessness 2":
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=89526264
- Testing: Fizzlers/Cubes/Buttons/Funnels and their applications in the field of science.
- Difficulty: Hard-Very Hard
- Estimated time to complete: between 5 minutes and 1 hour.
If you know the first part of this map ("Cubelessness": http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78146075) then you will find this second part even better, it is harder and more elegant, with no fancy tricks or unconventional methods here.
Thanks again
