No really, the newest update made Riften bugged. Its only Riften as well, none of the other holds have any problems.

The game does that all the time, with or without this mod. If you haven't done the SKSE steps outline above then you probably need to.

That's not a bug caused by Open Cities. Roggvir's execution has been put through its paces so many times it's almost silly. Works every time, even when dropping in using an alt-start mod.

Bug: I entered Solitude for the first time but there was no Roggvir execution. Also, the game crashed soon after but it wasn't the moment I opened the doors so it's likely unrelated.

i seem to have problems after leaving cities. cities load fine i can move around fine but after entering cities and leaving then going a considerable distance (from whiterun to the burnt down cottage with the cart out front) the game freezes. you can work around this by fast traveling and it is inconsistent but it mostly happens when i leave cities to explore the wilderness. It may just be skyrim being skyrim and i can supply a mod list if asked.

That's intentional. If you don't want those gates there, turn them off in the mod menu. You'll need SkyUI for that though.

Loaded the mod, and I found that in Whiterun there was a part of an Oblivion gate (upper district). Unloaded, and it was gone. It appears that this mod got mashed together with another when being uploaded to the Steam Workshop. This happening to anyone else?

Love the mod, but when i entered windhelm, an entire wall and house are missing. Anything I can do to fix this?

After i uninstalled this mod i cant even go near cities or villages. My fps just goes straight down to almost zero from stable 70+

I have a mod that conflicts with this (floating trees everywhere) so i tried removing this mod but I keep getting ctd's and freezing when i try loading skyrim. Help!

You've apparently installed a mod that conflicts with OCS. Check your load order for anything new you've installed that's loading after it.

Want a life saving mod. I ran in to a problem where I could not leave Markarth. After downloading this mod, and reverting to a previous save, all is well again. Thanks!

This mod is so great because all the time you save from loading, it can save you an hour of loading sceen easy :)

Came here to point a very small issue out to you.
Lucia and the captain of the guard in Whiterun both still seem to hang around in the original version of the city. Only discovered it when heading to the Skyforge and seeing both of them pop into existance infront of me XD

My game CTD in Riften and in Windhelm after a few minutes there, the memory patch in the skse.ini solved it. Also, how do I enter the ghost cities?

What's up with the Oblivion Gates setting in the mod config menu? Are there supposed to be Oblivion Gates in Skyrim? If so, how do they spawn and how is it explained that they are around since the end of Oblivion established that no more Gates can ever open

Silly question, they are there "ghost" cities inside the walled hold capitols with half the caracters in them that aren't in the main cities.

I love this mod and this author! Thank you so much for the mod but also for the part about the memory for SKSE. I have known about Skyrim's memory issues for a while but never heard about this SKSE fix and its great because I have been having issues at Widhelm. Finally I have found the cuplrit for my endless headaches!

I just learned the hard way that you should not go to Cidhna Mine in ghost Markarth, fucks up your game. And it's weird since the toher doors don't go anywhere in ghost cities. I love this mod so much but there's people in ghost cities like that one girl who sells flowers in Windhelm, she's not in the real Windhelm but is instead stuck in ghost Windhelm. You should probably fix that, thanks :3

So I have better cities- Whiterun installed, and the trees which were added are all either outside the city or floating in the middle of the road... As much as I love this mod I have to stop using it.

Is it possible that this mod is causing some city encounters to be bugged?, e.g the forsworn in markarth kills an invisible woman bc she's not there, or the redguard and the woman from the thieves guild aren't settling a debt when you enter riften
