i got out but i didnt make it by going fast which im terrible at. i just put a portal on the floor in the first room jumped from the ledge into a portal in the second room moving my way to the pedestal button. dropped the cube and then made my way over to the other ledge once upo there i dropped the other cube through and then i could get out.
