(first comment I ever made on a map. so be honored ;) )

By the way, I have seen many chambers with cubes set at an angle or on thier backs. This is not a violation of portal physics. It is the evolution of a very rich platform!

Excellent map! A great logical adventure in a wonderful environment. Thanks!

Great chamber. I loved the laser puzzle. Kept getting burned, but I got there in the end :)

If you like to think outside the box and you want a real challenge, try my chamber "Misdirection" at http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=140602475

AWESOME! How did you do that?
Aerostitus 22 sep 2013 om 10:59
ok... that ending was the creepiest ****ing thing I have ever experienced ._.
Steph 21 sep 2013 om 8:43
Nice work, it could make the history of portal 3

On the whole, I liked it. I agree with wildgoosespeeder about it being tedious with all the crawling, and it was a little too long overall. I disagree with wildgoosespeeder and lightmare about taking advantage of the game physics. I think that is perfectly reasonable to expect the cubes to act in-game the way they would in reality. Not the same thing at all as exploiting a glitch, this is expected behavior. If players need to learn something new, so much the better!

What even happened at the end?
jamie 6 sep 2013 om 23:21
Good job! The tests were challenging... but... the ending scared the hell out of me.

Going to have to go with wildgoosespeeder on this one. :/
For those who don't already understand that things like turning the boxes on their sides , with the game not being built around those elements and those parts not normally being very apparent to the previously advanced players, it makes things overly (and maybe unneccessarily) difficult and confusing. It's kind of like building a stage around strafe-jumping or around glitching through walls or other things like that, and this only caters to a more specific group of players rather than being easier for everybody to enjoy.

It was very troubling for me because I really enjoyed the map up until this point. I'm still giving a positive vote because I know this couldn't have been particularly easy to create (as opposed to the PeTI).

Would any one like to try one of my PeTI maps?

Mapmaking tip: flickering lights are always a bad idea.
MoseSchruteJr 1 sep 2013 om 16:34
um do you need the boxes in the prison cell because I through them out the window
Clearly Mad 1 sep 2013 om 5:32
This is a beautiful map, but. The "puzzles" are really poorly designed.
raycelbelmond 1 sep 2013 om 4:35
Good journey. I'll do the part 2.
mjayers1 31 aug 2013 om 22:35
There's a glitch in the room with all the boxes. you can't portal to the ceiling from the side crawl space. I can only get a portalf to attach dead on, but diagonally it doesn't work.
Demon Arisen 31 aug 2013 om 10:15
Hmm, I appreciate the owrk that went into this but the puzzles weren't very good to be honest....

I'm not a very big fan of "crawling around" or "take advantage of game physics" puzzles. It just doesn't fit the Portal universe and makes for a very tedious map.

Try my map?

Tried to play it, but when I entered the game and clicked on this map to play it, it said "An error occurred while downloading this map!". Is there a solution to this?
Anderstein 14 jun 2013 om 15:12
I really really loved this puzzle! I would be on the top of highscore list of workshop puzzles ;)

This is an "old" puzzle, isn´t it? Made before the PeTi-Era ...

I think there are a lots of ways solving the laser chamber. You can lead it on the portable surface on the ceiling, but I wasn´t able to place a portal on this place through the slot (from outside). I had not tried to move a cube through the slot and lead a third laser through the windows. I found this solution: screenshot Is that okay, too ;)

The beginning is really nice and unexpected. The laser chamber takes me a lot of time because I didn't recognice that there are glass bottoms and not some invisible shields...
