Easy but very fun to play :) like the way you interconnected so many things meaningfully :)

Very good easy map ! Fun to play. It's a game, not a complexity contest.
BorniWolf 4 de jun. a las 11:35
5 starts??? why? because it is huge? why do people bother building huge very easy chambers?
I am sorry but i am annoyed because it is very difficult to find really good(=challenging puzzle) chambers. I spend hours of playing with maps rated with 5 starts and most of them are ridiculously easy. I dont feel like a ``test subject'', I feel like an idiot who has to go from A to B on a direct path without thinking even a little bit.

Yea, I have no words for how great this map is.

Nice ! you have to keep your loved cube with you, sometimes you let him but you have to go back , it's tour loved cube !

Excellent, il faut pour ouvrir la porte finale emmener son cube bien aimé partout et de temsp en temps le laisser derrière soit pour mieux le retrouver ensuite. Ah l'amour !

I loved this map! I don't care if a map is hard or easy, just so it captivates me and I have fun! Great Work!

Also, I just finished my third map today! I'm looking for honest feedback on each of the three I've developed so far. They are designed to be fun, investigative maps. Typically, no antlines or signs to aide in what controls what, you observe and move forward. They aren't too hard.

Way, way too easy. You shouldn't have made the shortcuts back to get your cube if you should neglect it, or forget to leave a portal by it. Neat looking level, but no challenge.

Interesting test. Well done.

Can you add BEEMOD how it goes in this test?

Loved how many rooms this one had. Good work
The Inquisitor 16 jun. 2013 a las 17:15
this is a nice map but with such a devistating place to get stuck in it I am suprised you got such good ratings. It is otherwise a well designed map although I did not finish it. I cant rate it untill I finish it or with that stuck point in it.

Very, very good map

Some of the escape routes designed for the Companion Cube were useless since you do still hold the Handheld Portal Device and can use it to aid the cube through these situations. The chamber itself had some faults but nothing too noticable or worth mention, in an aesthetic form. I personally enjoyed the Excursion Funnel Puzzle behind the glass.

Sincerely: Prtalist

Really fun level, I enjoyed it a lot.
Lord Hyperion 9 abr. 2013 a las 18:46
I certainly did enjoy it, however it was a little more linear that I would have prefered. There was almost always only one or two things to do at a time, and it lacked those moments where you know the tools are all there, but couldn't figure out how to piece them together. Otherwise, exceptional job!
International Space Station 26 mar. 2013 a las 11:47
Ahh cute little chamber! :D

That was fun. Thank you.
Dr. Mike 14 dic. 2012 a las 19:32
In general a good medium difficulty map. Only thing is that some of the pedistal button + angle pannel combos weren't necessary for advancing the companion cube. A fun map other than that.
Torchiest 18 nov. 2012 a las 10:37
Not bad, but I don't think you really need all those pedestal buttons to go back and get the companion cube. I was able to use portals to go back and grab it.
killaskrillaforilla 29 oct. 2012 a las 16:47
this is an example of a map that makes mine feel inadequate. great job.

Innocentive 8 oct. 2012 a las 13:58
Very nice concept and a fun map. What I didn't like so much was that there were always doors with buttons leading back ... more elegant would have been to make the companion necessary to move on so that you can't lose it. But apart from that very well done!
Andi 1 oct. 2012 a las 14:05
That was quite the maze to circumvent. Not often we see a map were we must use our trusty friend the companion cube. Nice to see it again.
cyc4015 20 sep. 2012 a las 23:35
This was a really well executed map. good work!

mood3rd 14 ago. 2012 a las 13:58
good map
nice ride
the pedestal button after climbing stairs (away from reverse polarity beam)
is not needed, as placing a portal at top of stairs & near cube will do.
fun map
difficulty easy-medium
please tell me what you think of mine:
I have just subscribed to your other map: the hive.
I will rate & comment when played.
Infinite_Data 5 ago. 2012 a las 6:20
Nice. I like this kind of tests where you see the exit at the beginning, but to open it you have to solve several puzzles. The best part was the one with the Propulsion Gel :D

SeKi 14 jul. 2012 a las 1:49
nice! Had to think pretty much. Are these Walls that open and shut in the PE?
AEon 1 jul. 2012 a las 1:44
AFAICT this map was created completely in the Puzzle Editor, and that is quite rare for a good map. Most top-rated maps were built in Hammer. I really respect the ingenuity that went into creating something visually and puzzle-wise interesting with PE. The blue spirals as elevator/transport shafts... giving the player a non-puzzle-related breather are nice too. Using those angled ramps to shut off and open walls, is another thing I have not seen often. The "remote controlled" room is quite nifty. Difficulty was fine, avoided getting stuck unnecessarily.

Over all you really made very clever use of the otherwise quite limited Puzzle Editor.
StIg 30 jun. 2012 a las 8:58
Very good. Perfect level of difficulty. Keep it up...
