First off, change it so its not a dead ringer in a box. Besides that, a cloak that starts off with -45% cloak duration but with each backstab, is increased by 15% up to 160% that of normal cloak. ;)

as it has 'over' it should be able to incease the clock time by X seconds by a medic healy you.

Valve could do alot with it. There ARE new abilities and stats they can fiddle with. It's about hte model, not what you percieve it to do. (For instance, what about a watch that allows you to move THROUGH unfriendlies?)

I love the model, but sadly there isn't really a place for it. The Dead Ringer already covers the basic idea of an escape artist fairly well, so maybe you have to activate it by using primary attack with it open, and you get a speed boost at the cost of cloak?
I don't know. I really do like the model, but the theme of the set is already part of TF2 =/

This should be lie a combination of the Dead Ringer and the Cloak and Dagger. You would get the feign death from the Dead Ringer and the recharge when standing still from the Cloak and Dagger.

@SushiJaguar Yeah, it seems insane, but think about it. 50% longer cloak means 50% more time where a Spy can't do anything but run, and people would still notice a very loud sound produced when the cloak runs up.

Alternatively, it could be no change to cloak time, but a significantly louder decloak as a tradeoff for the ability to attack while cloaked, at the risk of immediately decloaking and producing a very loud noise or just outright immediately drains or disables the watch for a period of time. Something that gets the attention of anyone around you, but still allows you to take out vital targets. Sniper has you all chained down? He's dead. Sure, the Pyro's on your ass, but you've created a decent enough distraction.

It sounds a little overpowered, but I'd love to see the Spy gain the ability to be a valid distraction instead of an outright god with the Spy-cicle/Enforcer/Dead Ringer combo.

@BAIR: It's still a ridiculous idea. Once your cloak is gone it would only take a couple seconds to kill you, what with the whole "in plain sight" thing. No matter how fast it'd recharge, it'd still be unusable, which is the useless part.

@Bunnerz: That isn't the issue. That guy suggested that any damage taken would drain your remaining cloak instantly, to zero. Meaning, one stray shot from a scatter or a shotty or any weapon at all and you're screwed. 50% louder decloak means nothing anymore because half the time people don't even know what a decloak sounds like. Also, figures like 50% are a ridiculous amount. As for not replenishing cloak from pickups, like you said, the C&D has that covered already.

@SushiJaguar I dunno, I think +50% cloak time would be decent with a proper tradeoff. Like, 50% louder decloak and no ammo pickups. Sure, you get a huge bump in the time you stay cloaked, but you can't just pick up more cloak on the run. Granted, nobody would pick it over the Cloak and Dagger.

When sapper placed sapper's damage is reduced to 0 but while sapper is attached you are cloacked infinantly and all damage is transferd to the sapped building. -cloack

love the idead of a suitcase watch could be removes disquize option and replaces sapper with watch which can sap while cloaked but once you sap you are instantly drained of cloak and are exposed to the battlefield with a 40 sec cool down

I could actually see this being a powered-up version of the dead ringer. Maybe...
50% longer cloak
-20 HP on hit (avoid people spamming it as they do with the dead ringer)
25% faster decloak

It could also keep the increased decloak sound, give someone a chance against the faster decloak. Longer cloak time would also explain the set name. It would give spies the perfect opportunity to escape or plan an attack.

i really like the drain health instead of cloak idea
i really dont like the can stab while invisible + invisble after stabbing, consider how easy it would by to wipe out engies + sentries, no finess or skill required
maybe 50% faster cloak and uncloak times?
