Dragons, Giants, Mammoths and Trolls Drop Skulls

Fire, Ice and Storm Trolls! has been released. It adds three new trolls to the game, which have the behavior and skin of trolls and frost trolls, with the magic cloaks and fire, frost or shock attacks of flame, frost and storm atronachs!

It's the first in a series of mods called Project A.W.E. (Additional Wilderness Encounters). Check out the videos and screen shots for the new mod, here:

Yeah, I added it because people who added the mod after they killed a named dragon wanted a way to get the named skull. Plus, it's impossible to loot Alduin's corpse, so right now, the forge is the only way to get his skull.

I just ran a test and I got Mirmulnir's skull and an unnamed dragon skull.

Now the Named Sragon Skulls mod uses a script to add the skulls. But the Drop Skulls mod uses the death item to add the skulls. So any mod that changes dragons might prevent you from getting the death item, but not prevent the script.

So see if you have any mods that change anything about dragons and disable them, or try moving drop_skulls_sp0ckrates to the bottom of the load order list. Let me know if you need help with this.

I am getting all skull besides dragon ones. I get mammoth, troll and giant skulls.

Are you getting troll skulls and frost troll skulls, giant skulls and mammoth skulls? Or are these missing, too?

I have yet to find a regular dragon skull after I've killed one. I get the named dragon skulls, but no plain ones. I apologize ahead of time if this has been asked before, but do you know any solutions to this?

Wolfchilde: Glad that worked! Tried it, once and Belathor resurrected, but the dialog options to buy anything from him were missing.

For fun, load a save from before you resurrected him, open the console and use this command:

player.moveto 0001A672

This will move you to Whiterun's place of the dead, where all of the dead NPCs are kept, and where you will find Belethor's corpse. It's a small room with purple walls and a chest in the center. I think there is one such room for each hold.

thank you for your help in getting the 2 back. i dont think that was the reason but i resurrected them and they seem to work fine now along side this mod. i was really worried because i think this is a really cool mod and i thought i would have needed to remove it. you were really helpful and i thank you for it.

With Dawnguard, packs of vampires and vampire's thralls or death hounds attack the cities at night and kill shopkeepers, potential followers and other NPCs. They sometimes arrive a few minutes after you arrive. If you run into a building, they will still arrive and kill people while you are inside.

I always fast travel by day, or wait inside the gate with my weapons ready, just in case the enter and try to kill someone. I also listen to the guards at the gates. If one of them says, "These vampires are becoming a real menace!" then often (but not always) a vampire death squad is about to arrive.

What you may do now is load a save before the vampires killed them, or do without them for the rest of the game, or use the console commands to resurrect and reset them--which doesn't always work.

The new mod should be released tomorrow. It will be titled, "Lycans Vs Vampires, Part I - Vampires of the Silver Hand." It puts a new twist on the Companions quests, turning the Silver Hand from bandits into vampires and vampire thrawls. Dawnguard is not required.

Other features of the mod will be:

• Silver weapons: Do 25% more damage against werewolves and other beasts, such as trolls, wolves, bears and sabre cats. May be improved with a silver ingot at a grinding wheel.

• Wuuthrad: Now a vampire-killing weapon, doing 25% extra damage against vampires, as well as ghosts, draugrs and other undead.

• Skyforge Steel weapons: Added Skyforge maces, war hammers and arrows. May be enchanted at the Skyforge with the blood of a Glenmoril Witch head--no enchanting skill required.

• Other features to be announced.

yes mabey more becuase there are so many dragons roaming but only 1 named dragon each so mabey 5,000 or 4,500.

Alduin's is currently worth 3,000, which is double the value of unnamed dragon skulls. I suspect the Dragonborn would have more gold coins than he could ever spend by the time he finishes the main quest line, so I suspect most would keep it as a trophy to display. But 3,000 might be too low. Do you think it should be 4,500?

oh and i have a suggestion sp0ck mabey alduins skull can be worth more and so can be parrthlanax (misspelled) and from vary to level you are the price and weight of the skull increases

Riekling Skulls and Werebear Skulls from Dragonborn would do good for a Dragonborn Addon, Can't really think of any other skullz because you have ash spawn but they are just animated ash so maybe a lurker skull as far as seekers go I have never encountered one that has not vanished upon death so their would be no use there and Harkon in Dawnguard Turns into Ash so that would not work so how about Death Hound Skulls and perhaps skullz from Wraithmen, Bone Men, and Mistmen from the Soul Cairn and Perhaps a Unique Skull Belonging to the Hidden boss in the soul cairn.

OK. I might do that next. The frost giant skulls are already in the game, without a lower jaw, I think. So I can add them as death items. But also let me know what other skulls from the DLCs you'd like besides the frost giant ones.

Have you added Frost Giant Skullz? although that would probably require Dawnguard and they may be a bit of a challenge to create seeing as they have 4 eyes and 2 horns by the looks of it personally if you made them I would put them at at least 750 a peice seeing is how rare frost giants are.

OK. If you start a new game and the issue persists, then it is likely a mod. But I suspect it is a glitch in Skyrim, itself.
