what kind of art do you need?
riderin  [author] Jul 27, 2014 @ 1:55pm
2DigitalCrest: We are small independent indie dev. We try as much as we can to make it looks apealing, but it's not possible for us because we don't have any artists yet. But we always open for new people. If you have someone in mind who can help us, give them mine contacts.
Thank you very much for your vote!
And everyone who vote for us thank you very much guys!
DigitalCrest Jul 27, 2014 @ 12:50pm
I did vote yes, however it would be nice if you got a real artist to make the graphics for your next game. Default fonts, photos and such don't make a pretty game, and visuals are very important to create appeal and make players want to play the game for longer.

Also a more interesting game design apart from "find the asked kanji asap" would be nice, although I agree that it isn't that easy to come up with educational games with actually fun gameplay (though it isn't impossible).

Aprender japones estaria bien
amet Jul 18, 2014 @ 7:21pm
this would make sight reading the kanji so much easier!
MadameCuri Jun 30, 2014 @ 1:42pm
That's awesome. I know so many people that want to know how to write in japanese, it would perfectly fit for them *-*
DrunkenMudCrab Apr 30, 2014 @ 8:27pm
I'm learning Chinese. Will you make a Chinese version?
Boizaum Apr 29, 2014 @ 5:08am

ZinkaBuble, don't downvote simply because you don't know what something is. If you'd actually look at not only the game's title, but it's description and comments you'd know that it's a tool for helping teach various forms of Japanese and it actually looks very interesting - I wouldn't necessarily buy this game myself but I'm upvoting it because it deserves to be upvoted. Sadly, my upvote won't count for much as it'll only be counteracting your downvote :c
ZinkaBuble Mar 22, 2014 @ 4:57pm
don't know why i must play this game...downvote
lucave Mar 18, 2014 @ 9:59pm
I hope I learn Japanese in the near future. This might be of great help!

Nice effort. Hope you make it happen.
noctis_ex_mortis Mar 2, 2014 @ 1:40am
This looks really useful for studying Japanese. I can't make the kanji stick in my memory!
MorbidSpells Feb 28, 2014 @ 11:28am
If this question has already been answered then sorry. When you first start learning the Kanji does it all immediately unlock or do you start with like 15 or 20 kanji then you learn those and then it steps up to the next? Kind of like how there is a certain set that each grade level has to learn in Japan.
Vanythe Feb 28, 2014 @ 5:49am
Q&A Is live! We hope we have answered all your questions regarding KTG!
Elijah Baley Feb 27, 2014 @ 10:31am
This looks okay-ish but for me to buy this I would need the ability to write, plus some form of correct pronounciation. Nice idea though, especially for self-study.
crazyafro Feb 25, 2014 @ 5:23pm
I want to play this because I have a japanese game that I want to understand.
Satekh Feb 24, 2014 @ 11:58am
This seems SO AWESOME! Needs it!
Vanythe Feb 24, 2014 @ 7:34am
Soon, We're going to post an Q&A to answer most of the questions.
Rose Feb 24, 2014 @ 12:49am
Oh my gosh, I love kanji learning games! My teachers always use choomen and that doesn't stick nearly as well. :/ I never play games on my phone, but I always do on my computer! And I love achievements! Awesome! Can't wait! :)
Grodgen Feb 23, 2014 @ 11:40pm
Awesome, I'd drop around $5 as a helpful learning tool. Improve upon what you have and I could see this being a common purchase amongst self-learners and students alike.
Good Luck.
riderin  [author] Feb 23, 2014 @ 11:33pm
Grodgen : We can't say exactly how much it will cost but we will try to make it 5$ or less.
Grodgen Feb 23, 2014 @ 11:21pm
Looks nice. The UI could use some cleaning up though. And make sure it's cheap, there are similar freeware types already out there.

Inorien Feb 23, 2014 @ 3:47pm
looks cool but there are free mobile apps that do more
if you put in some grammar stuff and ability to write (tablet/mouse) and voice recognition i'd definitely buy it
Autman Feb 23, 2014 @ 2:46pm
It looks like a nice learning tool, hopfully it will help me.
Homeskool Feb 23, 2014 @ 2:41pm
I vote yes because of how helpful something like this would be, but I definitely would like a more aesthetically pleasing interface if this was greenlit.
Parafox Feb 23, 2014 @ 12:56pm
I've seen this same concept done before on the iPod and it was pretty unimpressive then, and got dull fast. What I would recommend is more gamemodes than the simple "match the kanji to its definition" one that you are trying to sell, so that the learning process would be less dull. I would also recommend expanding the number of kanji used from the kyouiku to the jouyou kanji, which includes somewhere from 1900-2000 kanji used frequently in Japan.
Dustbunny Feb 23, 2014 @ 10:41am
thank you teacher. just keep working on making it better so we are not just voting because we neeed this game but want it for the non learning aspects please
Atratzu Feb 23, 2014 @ 10:41am
I agree that it would be nice to have a little bit more of a friendly looking game, but as far as educational games go... yes "We need it".
reviniente Feb 23, 2014 @ 9:07am
It looks like crap, but I need this. Upvoted.
Pfind22 Feb 23, 2014 @ 4:12am
