Nothing in the creation club is going to come close to this mod. It really is one of the best and I wouldnt want to play Skyrim without it. Im from the old school pen and paper RPG days so I love me some good spells that mix up the game play.

Well, they are selling a few spells through the Creation Club now. Tri-elemental bolts, life drain and a bear summon. The elemental ones are ludicrously overpowered if you have perks for each element, though.

OMG I want play without this mod now. Its a 100% must for any play style or build. There is a spell for every build to enjoy and if your going for a full mage then you must have this mod. Nothing has bugged or broken my game which show's Bethesda could have added more spells if they had'nt been so lazy. 10/10 must have mod

That's probably a bug in SkyUI and would affect all right hand only spells.

I'm having trouble with one spell, Frozen Orb. I'm using SkyUI and trying to combo Frozen Orb and Forbidden Sun to F1 and for some reason it won't change to orb from any prevoius right hand spell. This is the only spell that won't hotkey. Love the mod, makes the magic actually fun!

They can be bought in the same fashion as vanilla spells - with the same limitations (skill level for higher level spells, Winterhold only for higher level spells).

Higher tier spells (expert+ if I recall) can only be found at the Mage's College in Winterhold. Also, if you cheated your skill level, then the scripts will not read it properly, and thus will not unlock said spells for you.

As I'm sure you are aware, spells in Skyrim are gated by skill level and by vendor.

Also, cheating doesn't help.

Notice how vanilla expert spells don't show up either.

I love this mod, it is very balanced and makes magicks that i neve used before, useful. But i have one problem, when i use the illusion spell Evil Twin, the illusions dont show up till after the enemy i used it on is dead, and the master spell Pull From Eternity doesnt allow you to use the attack part of the spell, both of these spells use to work awhile ago but for some reason they dont anymore, thank you!

That's how it worked at first and people complained about needing both hands.

i have the mod subscribed to,and when i start the launcher it says this mod is up to date, but in the data files i cant find it anywhere and in-game i cant get any spells from the college of winterhold, even after waiting a week

I wonder if it would be possible to add an option in MCM for forced hand assignment on spells? Like, if it's on, then you can only use certain spells in certain hands. And, if it's off, you can use all spells(except for those that take both hands, obviously) in either hand.

Those spells are the ones that reduce resistances, so they're not useful in combo with a weapon anyway.

If I allow people to choose which hand, they'll choose "both" and complain when it doesn't work.

Master destruction spells don't benefit from dual casting and are therefore tied to one hand.

They are tied to the right hand with the exception of the resist lowering ones which go in the left hand to synergise with the others.

@Storm: It may have been the Expert-level version of it, then. I did test to see if it was dual-cast and I could indeed wield other things in my right hand while this spell was up. I just don't understand the need to have destruction spells restricted to a single hand. Or, if they are(to balance purposes with dual casting), then at least make it the right hand so that I can keep my shield up when I want to use it.

Master spells especially are dual-casted; perhaps they simply appear to be in a particular hand? In regards to howling blast in particular, I'm not so sure- my characters are normally pyromaniacs, if they use destruction at all.

@Storm: That makes sense for that spell, but I'm running into it with a number of the destruction spells. I can't remember their exact names since I reloaded a save previous to the purchase, but the first one I ran into this with was a high-level cold spell(Howling Blast, I think?) that is channeled like Frostbite, but can only be equipped in the left hand. When I discovered this, I flipped through the list of the rest of the destruction spells at random and a not-insignificant number of master-level and otherwise would only go to a specific hand.

Certain spells require to be casted in one hand. Ocato's Recital, for example, functions by it being in the left hand, with another non-channelled buff-type spell in the right. You cast Ocato's Recital, and it then memorizes the right-hand spell to cast upon entering combat (can be used for up to 3 spells at once). If I recall, there is one other similar spell.

It isn't a magic scaling mod, it adds more spells that are balanced against vanilla. You also need a magic scaling mod, like Ordinator.

@author nope. I isntalled all the mods i wanted to play with when i began my run. Idk what caused it. Nothing changed. I suppose the only thing I did was not play for a week or so..... but I don't think that would change anything... I suppose the spell that summons a draemora for your opponent if it kills your summon is the only thing i can think that would affect it.

Ah ok, i didn´t know that thing about the spelltoms. The entomb problem was my fault..... i thought it was ready to be casted and let go, although it actually wasn´t... silly me haha.

All mage vendors have them. The actual problem is that people are not aware that vendors only sell books up to their skill level (capped at apprentice/adept for non-Winterhold vendors) and blame it on this mod.

Actually hit the target. Also bretons have spell absorb and will negate some spells.

Today I dredged my trusty loot stash out of the ground with deadeye captain and he came out alive and angry! To everyone who says you can´t find the spelltomes: for me, the merchant in the academy of winterhold are the only onesd who have them. You can also type psb in the console to give you every sepll in the game (this will make your destruction spell category contain like 500 spells though).

Awesome mod! i Really like the spells, most of the nes i tried are so fun! Entob is one of my favorite pell ideas, but for some reason it dosen´t work all the time. I have a question though: how do you stop using mind control? I casted it on an enemy, but i can´t find out how to return to myself.

I really love the spell Gravisphere but he's only available on scroll. Is it possible to have the scroll spells on books too ?

Well I did some testing and I belivie it was script lag. When it happend I was in the middle of a battle with Stormcloaks and Imperials fighting, about 50 people, so I think that was the cause of the script lag. I tried it later and it worked perfectly fine.

I have a quick question. I used a scroll for a spell calle "Apocalypse" and after using it, my character sheathed and just went up in the air as usual but instead of hoovering above and shooting meteors I just dropped down and died. Not sure if this is something I did or one of the mods conflicting with this but I just want any kind of feedback before I do something about it.

There's also a Leech Seed in Pokemon. It's a grass-type move that plants a seed on your foe that leeches health every turn (hence the name). Think of it as like the Flower from Smash.

There's nothing about thralls or ebony armor that causes a crash. Looks like your game has too many mods/a corrupt save/no Crash Fixes in use/any of a million reasons why it might crash.
