Yes, but an exclusion for this one NPC type would be a cool idea. It's not game breaking because falmer aren't dangerous anyway (with dwemer robots and other sightless things it would be game breaking).

Clearly 1905 people upvoted this mod because it doesn't work.

Now that we have established that the issue is on your end, you haven't given any useful information other than "I tried every suggestion" (even though you didn't ask for any before) and a failed attempt at cheating.

For all I know you're looking at a non-Winterhold vendor and asking yourself why you can't see spells above apprentice. Or perhaps you're not even looking at a mage vendor at all. Or you didn't let the init script run ("Apocalypse items added to the world"). Or you're using SKSE all the time and the mod did download but was never enabled because you didn't run the actual launcher. Or you installed and uninstalled and reinstalled the mod without cleaning your save in between. Etc etc etc.

It could be any of a million things if you don't tell me what you did. This is the equivalent of calling Dell and telling them "my computer doesn't work, I tried everything".

Based on this, I conclude you're not seeing the spells. Why didn't you say that from the start instead of just saying "broken" with no information whatsoever?

Also I bet you don't even have the mod because clicking subscribe doesn't magically give you the mod, you have to let it download first. If Steam is slow or you have a bunch of other game updates, this can take a while. This is normal and how Steam is supposed to work.

Now you can't even get any higher level spells (from this mod or otherwise) legitimately because you skipped the event for hitting the next tier of spells because you cheated your skills up instead. Grats on breaking your character.

I have no mods but this one. I tried every suggestion. I waited more than two days for restock. I upped my skills via console to see if they showed up.

The mods are amazing! I have not tested it out yet, I can't until tomorrow but are these compatible with spells mods (To make it look like it glows or make the spell look different)

No information given. Probably didn't even download the mod and just looked at pictures. If anything, people complain that the spells are too weak. Or perhaps you're using some rampant magic scaling mod that multiplies everything by 10 and didn't notice that it did the same to vanilla spells...

That depends entirely on factors such as your connection speed (which I don't know) and traffic on Steam (which is variable) and nothing on factors I can control in any way.

You cast a spell that causes you to teleport when broken, and then break it by casting a spell that causes you to teleport when broken, causing it to teleport you and break the spell. Working as intended.

I've found a glitch, if you use Pale Shadow on a dragon, when it dies you get granted a dragon soul. Also ghostwalk is pretty glitchy. I doubt I need to explain it, but just try casting it while it's already active. I doubt all the teleporting is intentional.

Haven't used many of the spells yet (so far pale shadow is a personal favorite of mine) and I will comment again once I have done so.

But what I've seen so far is very well done! Better, more simple to use, and by the looks of it most of the spells fit in nicely in the game without seeming too absurd or silly.

Good stuff all around.

idk. . . if you made it expensive enough (magicka and cost for book) i don't think it really "breaks" the game unless you using console commands but then the game is already broken, maybe give it a stamina or even health cost as well. . . . . I've seem people do stuff like that though I wouldn't know how. All in all though one of the best mods I've yet seen. Also thanks for making it free

No one noticed or cared that the old legacy chest became inaccessible after the removal of Teleport, so I'm guessing people just cheat anyway.

No, but effects that are active when the update downloads won't get updated because the game doesn't update running scripts, hence you still having Sequencer instead of Twine.

Something as obvious as "turn off all active magic effects before updating" can't be done on the Workshop. But let's break the community by allowing paid mods, guys!

Try "help manager" > "player.removespell [SPEL ID you get back]" > "player.addspell [same ID]", going out of the console for a few seconds after each step.

Firebolt and fireball didnt work with the damage increasing buff and shadowbont didnt work with heal. Does the spell have to already have to do damage to do more and heal the player for heal to work?

You have a different problem then.

Try a few other scripted spells (Loot Magnet, etc). If none of them work, there's your problem and you either don't even have the .bsa or you broke your game and it isn't being used. If they do work, did you update in the middle of using Longstride?

Still having trouble with Longstride, even post-update. Dual or single cast, I still can't move faster than the normal amount of speed a player can go while holding a charged spell in their hand. My carry weight also still isn't increasing.
