New blog post. []
☀ geoglitch Dec 1, 2016 @ 5:59pm
they should just hire more people, it's way too much for one coder and one designer.. at the current pace, they are going to release this game in 10 years..
TZODnmr2K5 Dec 1, 2016 @ 4:54pm
Their last blog-post had nothing practical about the game's progression, just a useless wall of text yammering about still being stuck in R&D and detailing useless programming techniques used in a game that's still a tech demo...So in effect, the game is still an interactive screen saver...Forget it, folks this ship has sailed...

Bah, just kidding, it never even left the docks!
SAAmarshall453 Oct 25, 2016 @ 10:28am
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh please let us know mannn whats going on

Sp3ctA Jun 9, 2016 @ 8:05pm
I would like to buy it, but I need more informations about the game and the development. The most recent video on internet is 2014 .....
Nowhere forum, general discussions : last message 2014 too ....
How is the game today ?
String_Relativity May 2, 2016 @ 5:39am
Hope you realise the potential for this too :)
You can do it!
String_Relativity May 2, 2016 @ 5:30am
Oh yeah, loving the idea!
What i would love more is to be able to buy-in to the alpha through steam, as i don't use paypal or credit-cards. Just vouchers which add funds to my steam wallet :P

Hope you are still working on this in 2016!
duangle  [author] Mar 15, 2016 @ 2:10am
Hi, Leonard here. I'm sorry for the delays towards releasing the next alpha. I've been spending the past year in R&D hell developing technology that helps us getting the game to become as dynamic as we're envisioning it to be, and moving it sufficiently far away from anything that people can buy currently. That means even some of the basics are still missing, but our commitment to development is unbroken. I'm working nearly every waking minute on the game.

If you are interested in the technical details, have a look at my frequently updated Devlog [], or my twitter at @paniq. We also have an IRC channel where you can talk to us directly; , #duangle.

☀ geoglitch Mar 12, 2016 @ 2:18pm
@TZOD - and we paid a good amount of money for not released content, i will go extremely mad if this will never see the light of day
TZODnmr2K5 Mar 12, 2016 @ 2:00pm
The most aptly titled game forever lost in development...It is now march 12 2016, and the forum is pretty much dead... [] Even the showcased videos in 2014 are little more than a tech demo...
☀ geoglitch Jan 19, 2016 @ 12:13pm
Passiert hier denn noch was? Hab das Spiel für ~20€ gekauft, wann erscheint denn endlich die Early Acces Steam Version? Selbst wenns ne Alpha ist, ladet sie doch einfach hier hoch..
Takt Jan 13, 2016 @ 1:14pm
I don't know what to think to be honest :/
First they said it was gonna be delivered at the end of 2015, now they're saying that a beta will be released at the end of 2016. Im not saying they are scammers or anything, but a lot of games got huge hype, received some kind of funding and the release date just gets moved up more and more, untill everyone pretty much forgets about it, and at this point they just bail out.

Lets hope they are legit :/

I would love for this game to see the light of day rather sooner than later. I know you guys rule, and so will the game!
duangle  [author] Aug 6, 2015 @ 10:08am
Good evening. Just to let you know that we are indeed breathing and typing things into machines that ultimately will translate into a game. The project is far from being abandoned, but we want to make sure that when we enter Early Access on Steam, the game will live up to scrutiny and earn favorable reviews. That takes time. In the meantime, you can follow us on our blog, on Twitter and in the forum to keep up with our progress.

While they haven't released new videos on their youtube page, one of the creators posted a blog post in april: . Keep in mind, this is a two person development team working on a huge undertaking. If you want to see this game made, consider funding their patreon.
Takt Jul 18, 2015 @ 11:11am
The people creating this haven't posted a new video in their youtube channel for over a year, and they originally claimed that they'll be releasing the game in late 2015....
Yog-Sothoth May 30, 2015 @ 12:27pm
Looks fantastic!, but im still a little skeptic about the final product so I will refrain from puting any money into it until i see more development.
Super great idea, im looking foward to this game.
JenniNexus May 25, 2015 @ 7:01am
Really cool game concept - can't wait to play it!
Ribesg Mar 31, 2015 @ 12:22am
The developer want this to be far too perfect at first, that's why it takes some time. For example, you should know that NOWHERE has its own development environment!
starfarts Feb 21, 2015 @ 5:02pm
This looks fantastic but I haven't really seen any gameplay that makes coherent sense. And I agree that the price-point is....a bit high. Particularly since there's nothing but concept art and a (very well-made) pitch video...along with some gameplay that is......abstract to insanity.
Bunzo Feb 3, 2015 @ 11:14am
This looks strange but may be interesting

I have been following the progress of Nowhere for a few years now. I can tell you for sure that in all that time nothing has come of it. Please don't allow more unfinished apps on steam then there already is. Q4 2015. We'll see. But don't hold your breath.

wow, what a fantastic existential exploration! Im curious as to what and who the nowherians are, and I imagine that the depth of the game is mirrored in the player. As such, there seems to be a good chance for this to be a flop/not for me, but at the same time reward only comes with risk. The creators are trying to test the conventions of gaming... imho, it seems worth the risk. All this is judgement of a book by its cover, granted, but it takes RPG's and their 'create your own adventure' story and turns it into more of a 'create your own history' story. Purely innovative, if not overly ambitious. Get it on Steam Early Access and you can have my money!!
[101AB]taiiat Sep 15, 2014 @ 10:38pm
i think you might want to explain what the game is supposed to be a little more.
after reading descriptions, watching a video or two and looking at some screenshots, i still don't really know what this game is.

it looks interesting, but i don't really know where this is going.
i see a lot of different features and concepts talked about, but how will that actually work?

idunno. it's an abstract game, and perhaps it's abstract enough to be obscure at this point.
all i'm saying is that it could be so out there from the norm that it's hard to grasp what the end product might actually be.

i'll still keep an eye on Nowhere though.

Well than, knowing Leonard aká panic and his wife for quite some time now hence he used to work as a (more than talented) coder at my company iam quite sure that this game is going to rock for sure. I had the opportunity to have a look at the several alpha stages and at the development of the game story itself and honestly i was left with the solely wish to have this game finished in order actually to play it.

I wish both of you all the luck possible.

Best regards,
Daniel aká Neferath

Only 19% raised ;_;
Elder of Ancients May 18, 2014 @ 5:56pm
Stumbled across this while perusing Humble store sale. Definitely gonna back you guys, just to get access to the alpha. I'm along-time fan of trippy computer graphics going back to the days of Cthugha'97 and beyond!

Totally unrelated to the game, I really want to hear Leonard try and speak with a Scottish accent.
Wurzelzweig [Linux] May 18, 2014 @ 5:25pm
Even though the audio comments are constantly flowing, you don't see much more than some 3D sculptures and a pretty dumb green rope. I have no idea what the "game" would look like. I fear those Alpha versions are released too soon. The funding also seems to slow down, alas. Only 19% so far. I guess it will take a long time to get a first real preview of the game. Hope they keep going and don't run out of money.

Looks wonderful, and a Linux sale by me is assured!
