This mod is insane! My only complaint is that the jet effects seem to come from *under* the ship, as opposed to coming from the actual thrusters. Other than that, I love it!

I could be wrong with this, but I think loops are still there. I think some update changed how the camera behaves in loops & corkscrews and it made especially corkscrews not so visible.

This would be very hard for me to fix and I don't see it happening any time soon. Sorry guys.

The Rainbow Headache is a bit incorrect :/
Always have Parts of the Track on my Surf Route, which is very annoying.
I can Produce a Video when it is not clear what I mean.
Have startet a Playlists with this Gamemode, and Rainbow is fine and cool but
Rainbow Headache is for me not Recordable :/

and by sideswipe I think lament meant the body of the ship hitting rather than the prow, allowing you to sideswipe a block and dodge a grey more effectively

Awesome mod, though you may want to tighten up the bounce on the track in the Twisted Mono skin, it gets a bit...intense with the dirtier dubstep I listen to.

No, not by me atleast. Stand alone skins aren't allowed to use twistmode so skins in this mode have to be included. You could try copying other skins to Twisted Mono's skins folder. They could maybe work that way.

This is now my favorite mod. It actually makes the tracks feel intense again and the colors are all over the place. The bumps are iffy at times and the speed could be better (faster for us turbo users) during the non-intense sections, but overall, I love it! Awesome job.

BTW, I have played with the idea of making collision nearly same as mono sideswipe. And, infact implemented it in my build. But I'm not gonna put it in workshop if no-one really asks for it. This mod has so many greys that you just end up collecting every damn block. And while colored blocks are easier to collect it really ain't worth extra greys.

The update was great, I had a fun time trying to collect as many negative grey points as I could on the first track I noticed it. The crash sound is also greatly needed as there is sometimes no feedback that you even hit a grey if the track is moving fast enough.

Is it posible that the grey counter could be put up permanently though. Often when it gets to a quiet moment of the track it would be great to have a quick glance at the counter, as the only time you can see the counter is the instant you hit a grey.

As with most parts of an audiosurf track where you are prone to hit a grey, you instantly hit the other colour trafic around it and this wipes the text of your grey count, and starts the chain count from 1 replacing it.

I know it's knitpicking but I just play this mod so much the little things tend to pop up every now and then.

Yeah, I agree with the ironmode bit. Nothing was better in Audiosurf 1 than those crazy hard songs that most of the time you wouldn't even finish

Personally I liked how in AS1 on Ironmode you couldn't even finish the track if you screwed up. So you get no points after you hit max. greys. If there is enough interest in changing that I'm gonna think about this again but for now it stays at 0 points.

However, You can now collect stuff even after "The Big Fail" and you can see how many extra greys you have hit in the Scoreboard (It shows positive integer for uncollected and negative if you hit too many). Also, Every grey now makes a crashing sound.

yeah, maybe like a 50% modifier or something. It really ruins those songs that get intense towards the end, when you have already failed. (E.g. Digital Love - Daft Punk). But I love it anyway. SO PRETTY!

Number of greys you can hit depends how many greys there are in the track if that's what you mean. It should be close to around 1/60 of greys there are. After the first grey-hit the scoreboard should show you how many greys you can still hit each time you hit one.

Would it be better if after you have hit max. greys you could still gather blocks but would not accumulate any points? Some sort of penalty there has to be anyway.
I could look into if it's feasible to make a bonus for not hitting greys in corkscrew, and making grey-hit sound more audible.

Is anyone else having issues noclipping through every block without getting too much greys?

Turning off blocks collision is extremely frustrating, I thought that was actually a bug. In Audiosurf you cannot just fail the track, you should be able to reach the end by any mean with provided mechanic. Right now the mod feels broken. Could you please not disable collisions? Otherwise this is probably the best mod I've seen so far. Great job!

Rainbow Headache is by far the most fun I've had with this game, great job. One suggestion, though. I wonder if it would be possible to make hitting greys produce the sound effect on every hit, instead of just the first one. Since avoiding them is a much bigger part of this mode than normal mono it would be nice to get an audio confirmation, especially since there's quite often too much other things going on for you to check your grid to be sure.

FREDDY: You becoming unable to get any more blocks is a feature. After you have collected certain amount of greys, you can't collect any more. For now that is the best way I could think of to make player "fail the track", so to speak. Just practice some more and don't hit greys.

For now I don't know how to make the track to not go through itself since I can't predict how the engine makes the twists. But it makes some bonus challenge anyway IMO.
