I love this Mod, it's the best of all!!!!!!
Kaktos4 Mar 8, 2016 @ 4:18am
Give normal SKIN!
scattermind Mar 11, 2015 @ 4:12pm
This mod is insane! My only complaint is that the jet effects seem to come from *under* the ship, as opposed to coming from the actual thrusters. Other than that, I love it!
Kiisseli  [author] Jan 20, 2015 @ 12:21am
I could be wrong with this, but I think loops are still there. I think some update changed how the camera behaves in loops & corkscrews and it made especially corkscrews not so visible.

This would be very hard for me to fix and I don't see it happening any time soon. Sorry guys.
404_Not_Found Jan 19, 2015 @ 10:44am
after one of AS2's updates I don't get loops or twists anymore, what happened?
Kiisseli  [author] Oct 31, 2014 @ 12:17am
@MusikMarioPlattenlabel Yes, there is some overlapping going on. But there isn't much I can do to prevent that from happening
MusikMario Oct 30, 2014 @ 3:32pm
The Rainbow Headache is a bit incorrect :/
Always have Parts of the Track on my Surf Route, which is very annoying.
I can Produce a Video when it is not clear what I mean.
Have startet a Playlists with this Gamemode, and Rainbow is fine and cool but
Rainbow Headache is for me not Recordable :/
Here find you the first 6 Rainbow Videos.

Still the best user created mode there is. I like it as trippy as possible!
Spawned some of the best skins too.
Chicane Jun 10, 2014 @ 11:57am
Just wanna say very enjoyable mod! Love the Rainbow headache especially. So unfortunate it's not so youtube-encoder friendly ;)
Kiisseli  [author] Apr 17, 2014 @ 4:45am
@Captain of Crunch. Yes that is what I meant with "wider" not going to happen. What it does is make the track way harder than what it is now. But awesome to hear the game does get intense sometimes xD good luck!
Larem Apr 16, 2014 @ 4:07pm
and by sideswipe I think lament meant the body of the ship hitting rather than the prow, allowing you to sideswipe a block and dodge a grey more effectively
Larem Apr 16, 2014 @ 4:05pm
Awesome mod, though you may want to tighten up the bounce on the track in the Twisted Mono skin, it gets a bit...intense with the dirtier dubstep I listen to.
lament Mar 12, 2014 @ 2:57am
@Kiisseli: yeah. i've been looking for something similar to that classic ninja ironmode feel from AS1. but this is pretty fun too!
Kiisseli  [author] Mar 11, 2014 @ 9:52am
@lament: Do you mean like "wider" hitboxes? No. It became too hard to not collect greys so I didn't implement it on release.
lament Mar 11, 2014 @ 3:01am
does this mod of have sideswipe?
Zeuge der Unity Mar 8, 2014 @ 4:56pm
Best Mod, bougth this game just for this mod xDD
nIkOt Jan 29, 2014 @ 11:47am
It's great. Well done! Thanks a lot for this!

como descargo el mod? ya me subscribi !
Strucol (Brian) Dec 29, 2013 @ 8:19am
Ah that does work, thanks!
HB Dec 27, 2013 @ 6:00am
Absolutely wonderful mod! My favorite game mode, and incredible skins! Thank you very much for this!
Kiisseli  [author] Dec 10, 2013 @ 11:36am
No, not by me atleast. Stand alone skins aren't allowed to use twistmode so skins in this mode have to be included. You could try copying other skins to Twisted Mono's skins folder. They could maybe work that way.
Strucol (Brian) Dec 10, 2013 @ 11:26am
This is pretty much the only way I play Audiosurf; the other modes don't come close. Would there be any way to enable all Workshop skins for this mode?
Narlex Dec 4, 2013 @ 11:00am
This is now my favorite mod. It actually makes the tracks feel intense again and the colors are all over the place. The bumps are iffy at times and the speed could be better (faster for us turbo users) during the non-intense sections, but overall, I love it! Awesome job.
Harmonic Series Nov 24, 2013 @ 2:44pm
This is a really great mod, very challenging and very fun. Just a quick note, I think "consecutive", meaning back-to-back, is a better word than "subsequent", meaning coming after something else.
Kiisseli  [author] Nov 6, 2013 @ 6:34am
Number21's, I like how you think. I could've made this far more weird, but what it is now is probably good for larger audience.
Shiny Coin Nov 6, 2013 @ 2:07am
i want to know if there is any way you can make this more erratic. maybe having the track deform inwards and outwards with some combination of the wakeboard tracks' flexibility?

just saying - go insane or go home:plane:
Cuckles The Bitchkidna Nov 2, 2013 @ 5:30am
Muzzy's "Timberwolf" is so hard. what with the 20ish snares per second.
Kiisseli  [author] Oct 31, 2013 @ 7:27am
I could change it so that "Greys Left" is shown besides "chain count".

BTW, I have played with the idea of making collision nearly same as mono sideswipe. And, infact implemented it in my build. But I'm not gonna put it in workshop if no-one really asks for it. This mod has so many greys that you just end up collecting every damn block. And while colored blocks are easier to collect it really ain't worth extra greys.
BlackWind Oct 30, 2013 @ 9:45pm
This Mod had me grinning like a fool while dodging a crapton of grays in an intense drop/solo.
Grim Oct 30, 2013 @ 3:49pm
The update was great, I had a fun time trying to collect as many negative grey points as I could on the first track I noticed it. The crash sound is also greatly needed as there is sometimes no feedback that you even hit a grey if the track is moving fast enough.

Is it posible that the grey counter could be put up permanently though. Often when it gets to a quiet moment of the track it would be great to have a quick glance at the counter, as the only time you can see the counter is the instant you hit a grey.

As with most parts of an audiosurf track where you are prone to hit a grey, you instantly hit the other colour trafic around it and this wipes the text of your grey count, and starts the chain count from 1 replacing it.

I know it's knitpicking but I just play this mod so much the little things tend to pop up every now and then.
SeraphX Oct 29, 2013 @ 2:07am
This mod is fricking awesome! but very very hard! Best AS2 Mod so far imo :D
Shiny Coin Oct 26, 2013 @ 1:23am
this is exactly the lunacy i hoped the workshop mods would bring
BORDΞR Oct 24, 2013 @ 4:19pm
Yeah, I agree with the ironmode bit. Nothing was better in Audiosurf 1 than those crazy hard songs that most of the time you wouldn't even finish
DUCK Oct 24, 2013 @ 7:51am
cool new update thx :)
Kiisseli  [author] Oct 24, 2013 @ 3:23am
Personally I liked how in AS1 on Ironmode you couldn't even finish the track if you screwed up. So you get no points after you hit max. greys. If there is enough interest in changing that I'm gonna think about this again but for now it stays at 0 points.

However, You can now collect stuff even after "The Big Fail" and you can see how many extra greys you have hit in the Scoreboard (It shows positive integer for uncollected and negative if you hit too many). Also, Every grey now makes a crashing sound.
Cuckles The Bitchkidna Oct 24, 2013 @ 2:47am
or alternatively, get rid of the per block score and just use combo scores when you hit enough greys. Just ideas, that's all, I have no idea how difficult it would be to implement and what not.
Cuckles The Bitchkidna Oct 24, 2013 @ 2:30am
yeah, maybe like a 50% modifier or something. It really ruins those songs that get intense towards the end, when you have already failed. (E.g. Digital Love - Daft Punk). But I love it anyway. SO PRETTY!
sd Oct 23, 2013 @ 11:46pm
I think penalties should affect just score, but not the gameplay.
Fatty Butt Fat Guy Oct 23, 2013 @ 11:11pm
I see, so then in songs where it is easy to fail there are less greys.
In which case it kinda evens itself out.
Kiisseli  [author] Oct 23, 2013 @ 10:51pm
Number of greys you can hit depends how many greys there are in the track if that's what you mean. It should be close to around 1/60 of greys there are. After the first grey-hit the scoreboard should show you how many greys you can still hit each time you hit one.
Fatty Butt Fat Guy Oct 23, 2013 @ 10:25pm
yeah I have that happen to me a few times, maybe after the 3rd or 4th block, is the number generated with the song or it set?
Kiisseli  [author] Oct 23, 2013 @ 10:08pm
Would it be better if after you have hit max. greys you could still gather blocks but would not accumulate any points? Some sort of penalty there has to be anyway.
I could look into if it's feasible to make a bonus for not hitting greys in corkscrew, and making grey-hit sound more audible.

Is anyone else having issues noclipping through every block without getting too much greys?
sd Oct 23, 2013 @ 8:41pm
Turning off blocks collision is extremely frustrating, I thought that was actually a bug. In Audiosurf you cannot just fail the track, you should be able to reach the end by any mean with provided mechanic. Right now the mod feels broken. Could you please not disable collisions? Otherwise this is probably the best mod I've seen so far. Great job!
BORDΞR Oct 23, 2013 @ 7:38pm
Oh fair enough. I have not tried my hand at modding this yet so I'm not entirely certain what is and is not available to change at the moment. Thanks again for the great mod mate!
Fatty Butt Fat Guy Oct 23, 2013 @ 7:18pm
you should make it so you get extra bonus points for making it out of a twist without hitting a gray block
Love the mod, it made the game for me.
Pieni Mursu Oct 23, 2013 @ 1:53pm
Rainbow Headache is by far the most fun I've had with this game, great job. One suggestion, though. I wonder if it would be possible to make hitting greys produce the sound effect on every hit, instead of just the first one. Since avoiding them is a much bigger part of this mode than normal mono it would be nice to get an audio confirmation, especially since there's quite often too much other things going on for you to check your grid to be sure.
Perosslay Oct 23, 2013 @ 12:08pm
My god this mod makes the game finally playable for me. I was so disappointed by the standard modes because the visual feedback was so bad. But this mod is simply a masterpiece thank you :)
DUCK Oct 23, 2013 @ 11:07am

Isnt there a way to raise the track a bit when it makes twists to not make them go in each other?
DUCK Oct 23, 2013 @ 11:06am
sorry it was me but 2-1 times I did it full stealth so maybe a trigger error or soemthing.
Kiisseli  [author] Oct 23, 2013 @ 9:41am
Thanks everybody for positive input! Glad you like it!
FREDDY: You becoming unable to get any more blocks is a feature. After you have collected certain amount of greys, you can't collect any more. For now that is the best way I could think of to make player "fail the track", so to speak. Just practice some more and don't hit greys.

For now I don't know how to make the track to not go through itself since I can't predict how the engine makes the twists. But it makes some bonus challenge anyway IMO.
