Great mobile game!
Psychodoll Sep 12, 2014 @ 6:05am
The game looks amazing, but I would not buy sorry, it seems it would be better for a smaller one like cell or Ipod, and i will buy it then, im not sure if i would on pc! but looks amazing GREAT JOB!
c r a b Jul 3, 2014 @ 10:45am
I think it looks great for a mobile or browser game. But it's just not the type of thing I would purchase on steam. I don't have the heart to say no though, so i'll just leave it.
harsh tokes Feb 16, 2014 @ 11:26pm
The graphics alone make me instantly dislike the game, hue
Massiah Jones Jan 29, 2014 @ 2:00pm
Poor game made by a very aggressive and unpleasant developer. Resorted to namecalling over constructive criticism and someone the game community doesn't need in it's ranks.

Bravo ma'am... If the name really does not have anything to do with... Err, THAT... Than I am all for it... :) Though I would say (through my own humble opinion) that you should not have to wave your experiance over and/or fight back against the huddled unwashed masses ;)

It is always nice to see someone who is not going to lay down to critiscm... Bravo ma'am :)
patricia.curtis  [author] Jan 10, 2014 @ 4:31am
Just to say that the game is now finished and will be out everywhere I can get it in a couple of weeks, it has over 180 levels and 18 worlds rather than the 22 in the original plan, and it is as hard as nails.

The game is tricky with each world adding a new element to the game, if some of you don't want it on steam then fair enough there is not much I can do about that. I have spent the best part of 2 years making it full time and have clocked up over 9000 hours of development.

I have made over 30 games now and have 35 years experience in making games, you may have heard of a few i am responsible for .
patricia.curtis  [author] Jan 10, 2014 @ 4:31am
Monkey Mofo is the culmination of those 35 years experience, I personally think its my best work yet, yes it does not fit into the black outline indie trend, and yes there are nothing to blow up or shoot. But do all games have to be the same? I thought the idea was to give you guys something different to play, I thought you played games for the challenge, maybe I am wrong!
patricia.curtis  [author] Jan 10, 2014 @ 4:30am
The name Monkey Mofo is a name, just like any other, if you really look back it dates from the 1800s when it was recorded as a family name of some of the first immigrants from Africa entered England. Yes things have a different meaning these days but you have to take things in context, this game is NOT for children as it is way too hard for them to play.

dalsamirraie Nov 27, 2013 @ 3:36am
Just finished the demo. This is a good, challenging puzzle game. The name of the game isn't that important to me, what matters is a gameplay, and that was addictive.
Zuko77Elendil Nov 8, 2013 @ 8:21pm
Looks challenging enough... Steam needs more innocent games such as these :) Sounds like it could also be a family frien.................... ??!? ... Ok, just disregard everything I just said (just looked up the meaning :O ) .... NO. HECK NO...!!
Dragon Nov 3, 2013 @ 9:38am
I can't see myself spending money (or time) on this. It's not the sort of game I'm looking for when I'm in Steam.
[LINUX] Hot Sick Oct 27, 2013 @ 11:45am
>RPGMaker game starring Samuel L. Jackson.

Travesty Oct 26, 2013 @ 7:17pm
In the full game features it says "Over 200 hundred action packed levels". Monkeys slowly walking across a colorful map is not action packed and what's up with the mofo part? Going to have to say This is not a game I will buy or want to play.
Plump4Trump Oct 25, 2013 @ 7:59pm
Wait so is the game actually called Monkey Motherfuckers? or is the abbreviation for Motherfuckers, Mofo, the official title??? Just wondering because I was working on an RPGMaker game starring Samuel L. Jackson.
Fantasos Oct 24, 2013 @ 7:18am
I'm really sorry but this really sucks
Alkane Oct 24, 2013 @ 6:12am
i woudnt mind even if the monkey was replaced by some man.plz distinguish the monkey someway!
Sir Onyx Oct 22, 2013 @ 7:24pm
no thx, id prefer to not have seizures or eye bleeds while playing a steam game
maldyus_grm Oct 22, 2013 @ 10:45am
Game lloks fun and entertaining. But,indeed remove the "m...." part from your game's name. You insult it yourself and make a call for provoking any kind of bad reactions."Ask me again later".
xsonicchaos Oct 22, 2013 @ 10:15am
Sir, there is nothing "mofo" about this monkey as far as I can tell and I seriously hope it remains this way. How do you people come up with these names?
dik23 Oct 22, 2013 @ 7:56am
Looks like the perfect game for me to wind down after a long day in The City ! When will it be available on Steam ?
Mogg Oct 22, 2013 @ 5:24am
oh gawd, anotehr one of these. Voting no. Seen too many, and besides it is n't my kind of game.
AlainTheFrench Oct 21, 2013 @ 9:52pm
When I saw the title and the monkey grim, I though it would be a rape simulator.
walkmandosch Oct 21, 2013 @ 1:51pm
Yeah should probably change the name :D But it does look amusing.
Lola Bunny Oct 21, 2013 @ 10:50am
i loved lemming so this should be interesting
Celebrimnar Oct 21, 2013 @ 1:31am
Looks too much like a standard IOS game, nothing special
Nekol Oct 21, 2013 @ 1:08am
change dat name
N1ghtshot Oct 20, 2013 @ 8:31pm
Made me laugh, so you got my vote.
DeBurgo Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:44pm
A monkey "mofo"? Ew.

Seriously reconsider the name.
pdziemer Oct 20, 2013 @ 3:01pm
I think the game looks interesting and has potential. I like puzzle games like this and it looks like something I could get into. I don't think I like the title though, not that it is a big deal one way or the other. Thanks!
Scare Ball Oct 20, 2013 @ 2:36pm
This is both creepy and hilarious. Hell, I'd give it a try. Good luck.
Yetoo Oct 20, 2013 @ 12:07pm
Can you just change the title so it doesn't have Mofo in it because what is he doing that is causing him to be a Mofo?
LittleBlackRainCloud Oct 20, 2013 @ 11:22am
And then lets "talk" about the title, what precisely is the attraction of the name? It doesn't fit your game. It comes off a lot like a bad translation from another language. Just too much commericial art here to get any respect.
LittleBlackRainCloud Oct 20, 2013 @ 11:17am
My eyes are bleeding from the meaningless kitsch.
LittleBlackRainCloud Oct 20, 2013 @ 11:17am
the gameplay has potential, but the art is just horrid. On the flipside you could probably get hired at Zynga. Plus the hypno-surfer muzac makes me laugh, maybe thats a good thing from a first glance...
Bulk SquatThrust Oct 20, 2013 @ 11:16am
I don't need to play it there is gameplay up there thats what it's for to show people what the game is like without haveing to play it plus this the last thing i want is this on my computer. When it comes to helping if i was trying to help i would give tips on how to make it better not give it my own review which i was doing. Last do not compare this "game" to Mario i'm not even a fan of Mario and i'd rather play that than this.
greylord Oct 20, 2013 @ 11:03am
This reminded me of the old Amiga days, which is a very good thing.
Only thing I don't like is the static pictures, not my style.
But you've got my vote for everything else! ;-)
Nekol Oct 20, 2013 @ 9:50am
you cant improve this...
its EVIL
patricia.curtis  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 9:41am
Seth I deleted your previous comments because they are as useful as this latest one, this game sucks, is very helpful when looking for ways to improve. Have you played the demo Seth?
patricia.curtis  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 9:35am
This is not a game ported from IOS or any mobile platform, it has been created for the PC and Mac with ports going to Mobiles later. The game may appear to resemble a mobile game due to it having stars in and its art style however the palette has been recreated from Nintendo Animal Crossing and Super Mario colours as I like that art style of game. Monkey Mofo is not aimed at children either hence the name Mofo, it has challenging puzzles that the younger player would not be able to think laterally about. So it looks cute but then so does Super Mario brothers games and i am sure most of us had fun playing them, I know I do!

My comment keeps getting removed cause the author doesnt like to see negative feedback cause he/she is a baby. anyways I said this game sucks and should be voted down because of a rude author that insults people that don't agree and has no negative comments cause every time there is one the author deletes it because he/she does not want to see people honest oppinions on his/her game.
mccannmarc Oct 20, 2013 @ 6:35am
Vitriol. Even if this game were shovelware, which after playing the demo I can say it certainly isn't - Porting it to another platform takes far more talent than sitting facelessly insulting someone's hard work. If you can do better then please point me in the direction of a game you have created that you believe is worthy of the PC
Firefly Oct 20, 2013 @ 6:30am
This reminds me of the game Otto's magic blocks.
[LINUX] Hot Sick Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:44am
Porting iOS shovelware to a superior architecture/OS does not magically improve the quality, nor does it increase the intrinsic value. It's akin to putting a picture of cat feces in a beautiful and expensive hand-crafted frame; the photo is not improved, though the perceived value of the frame may be diminished.
patricia.curtis  [author] Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:04am
The demo is for the PC
