I know its been a long time but can this kitty follow you with another follower?

I have tired to find the sabrecat idle mod but I have not had any luck. I think that they might updated it or changed the name or both. Does anyone have any idea whatthis mod might be called now?

Sorry to hear about your cat! My aunt's cat ran off and we've not seen her for about 4+ years so I'm guessing she's probably with my grandmother now in heaven.

I know how you feel, when i was 9 a grey tom cat with a black nose showed up in the barn in my backyard. I named him smokey and he was the sweetest cat ever. He always dissapeared for a few days but would always came back. One day he didnt come back. now Im 13 and hes back!! He came back last month and I know its him because of hisblack nose. So dont give up hope, she may still come back.

I read the story behind the mod and it made me a little sad. I used to hate cats but I took in a stray that was fragile and scared as well grew attached to him. If he disappeared like that id freak and probably cry.

Finally!!! Ive been looking for this mod for so long, I forgot the name, i only remembered i met her when i walked up to riverwood one time. She was the best follower i had without talking my ear off (sophia). Thank you for this. And I hope time has helped; my cat died in my arms a few months back. I hope time helps.

the creation kit is not necessary in order to get shinobi as a follower, just approach her and begin a conversation. (If i rememberr right, she will not actually say anything, the game will just display a message notifying you that she is now a follower) All references in the description regarding the creation kit are only there for insight into how she was made, and where to find tutorials on how to do it yourself.

Game crashed even before I get to the main menu with this mod checked. Any idea why?

Thanks so much for sharing your story about your cat. My girl is my service animal and I'd be devistated if she ever disappeared. I hope where ever she is, she's happy. As for the mod, thanks for sharing. I'll probably nab her later.

I like the mod a lot. That animation bob fix I mentioned works fine with this companion too. Only gripe and fix request I have so far is that sometimes Shinobi hostiles on farm animals like chickens and such. This usually happens in or near a settlement so the townfolk get mad and attack when their livestock gets killed then Shinobi kills the townfolk that attack. If ya get time, plese fix that. Thanks.

There is a patch fix that I found on Skyrim Nexus for the animation bobbing error with sabrecats. It works pretty well for my game. It's called sabrecat idle. The last version I downloaded was v2 but that was going on a year ago so it may have been updated or replaced. The only problem I found with this patch was that if you do an integrity check through Steam, thefile may get replaced in the process. If so, just reinstall from the .download.

I'll subscribe to this mod and have Shinobi for my Wood Elf character's animal companion and maybe as a protector for 1 of my homes on other characters. I'm not a huge cat person, but the family cat Rascal disappeared just before last Christmas and hasn't been seen since. Everyone has missed him because he was with the family for about 11 years. One of my Skyrim characters is named and likened in his memory. Whenever I play him, I'm reminded of many funny things Rascal used to do.

So am I understanding thatI have to use the creation kit myself to make this cat a follower? That's why I chose steam, so I didn't have to do all that. Sorry about your cat, I did the same exact thing with my cat mama cat. I had her forever, she was a stray, so would go in and outside, (she also did her business in other peoples yards :D) but eventually she dissapeared, she was an old lady by then, it killed me I could never see her again. I mean I even sat outside in a rainstorm with her in my lap to keep her safe ( when my mom didnt want her inside, but eventually loved her to death)

So I know how you feel :(

I have a multi followers lite mod that won't work with animals. Other wise it would be my character, Farkas and the rest would be animal companions. Although I like to think Shadowmare is our 8th "unofficial" follower. But official in our circle of unlikely heros. I will add Shinobi as a gaurdian of Riverwood. She will be remembered here. Thank you for sharing your story. I can empathies, as a cat lover and one who has also lost a cat that way.

my cat died about four years ago ran over by a semi i had that cat for about 8 and a half years as it was my favorite animal that i had had since i was a little kid I feel your sorrow and pain my friend

sorry about your cat about 2 years ago my cat that i had since i was 3 was killed by a cougar and he was a pixy bob with 3 legs but he was a loyal cat

Hey I hope that you find her I found a cat at my grandma`s house and a few weeks later there was a trailer fire and I thought someone saved her well she died in the fire My mom never told me but my mom told me I was her angel on earth and now jesus is her angel:'( Im crying right now for the both of us :'( :'( :'(

hope u find her maybe use a toy that she liked before she left and she will come back oh and make sure u have food with u and to get her checked cuzz she may have gotten something from another animal to Ginsu23.

All you guys have been really nice. Thank you all for your kind words. Shinobi has not come home yet, but I saw a cat that looked exactly like her around town and I'm sure it was her. She did not seem to recognize me, though, but at least she is still alive.
