Halo Gravity Hammer sounds for Fire Axe

It's been a while since I played with this installed, but as far as I can remember, the sound was frequently cut short or wouldn't play. I think it only triggered on impact with zombies?

Also out of curiosity, did you use recordings of the sound or rips from the game?

For some reason the sound's really glitchy, kinda difficult to hear. Any idea how to fix?

It's not this mod I'm concerned with, I know nothing can be done about it. It's the other two mods I'm working on that I need major help with.

Yeah, the sound cuts out because the default sound is like that. As for the BR, It's just me working on it right now and iv'e run into a problem with it that I can't solve on my own.

I apologise if you hear this all the time, but firstly, Fantastic mod. Only issue for me is it seems like the sound for the hit cuts out too soon. I just assume this is because that's how long the fireaxe sound file is. Secondly (and the thing you hear alot) do we have any update on the BR? I know you guys are hard at work and I'm not pressuring you to speed up becayse I know quality takes time, but I'd just like to know if you have a rough idea on when it'll be done. Again work at your own pace as your other mods are amazing and thanks for such great content!

Does ths add effects such as long range sending zombies flying and high jump? When I hosted a local server those happened on dead center hotel.

I think the main reason behind why people were having problems is because of the customized sound that was also implemented into the mod. In my opinion, the original gun firing sound of the AK-47 sounds pretty similar to the Assault Rifle of Halo. If the original sound was kept and there was only a new reload animation, then I think it should work better.

For instance: I would fix the sounds, they would be perfect for me, but for most others it would make the first person model invisible. When I saw THAT problem, I gave up.

I really love it when it isn't just a reskin and actually has the sound to it. Makes it feel more powerful that the weapon truely is. I resently found a reskin/resound mod of the AK-47 that make it the assult rifle from halo, and my kills with that weapons has almost tripled. Maybe it is just the power of childhood.

The sound is great, but it's also happening with every melee weapon. Not just the fire axe. Please fix it. I don't have any strange addons that could cause this. All I had active were skin mods.

This reminds me of halo 3 with my father, mongoose baseball. Someone would get on a mongoose and the other would knock them out of the map with a gravity hammar. It was a fucking odd game if you asked me ( the creator ).

It works. By what I tested, it only affects the axe.

By the use of the video you can tell the quality/loudness of the sound.

1) Just the sounds, the mod is from splinks
2) I didnt know the crowbar shared sounds with the axe, but they are in seperate sound folders, so it's just the axe
3) please explain the use of a video for a sound mod, especially when you know what it's supposed to sound like
