Its a very good Work, Thank you for publishing. But i couldnt go the ros way , the pit in the DDD doesnt close. With magnifier and Mirror of dawn, i show it downstairs at the eye go upstairs and use the switch , nothing happend.Another problem... I have three corbamite, but no Ra door opend. Sorry for my bad english

you need the mirror of dawn or the magnifier,
you find the magnifier in a chest in the level 8 (coord 6,35 on the map)
you find the mirror in level 8 (see the link maps)

My god I am so stuck, I cant find solution anywhere and the Amiga versions solution doesn't seem to work. I'm trying to close a pit to get into a section of the DDD on ROS path. downstairs there's a placed you gotta horn of fear a skeleton into a teleporter, which puts him behind a door, you then kill him with arrows. Door opens and theirs an "eye" on the wall. The Amiga version you'r supposed to click any item on the eye then go back upstairs and theirs a button right near the pit you push. It is not working. Nothing seems to work. I cannot find a mirror of dawn or a magnifier if thats what i need. Does anybody know how to pass this? I was having fun with this but have spent 2 days here now. Ugh.

Hi, solved the problem, i didnt realise i had to go back thru the wall to get around to push the button left or right.

I have checked into the editor and there is no problems on my side. It should be working, do you have the latest update of the game and dungeon ? Otherwise, your save might be corrupted ? Try to supress and reinstal the dungeon mod.

level 5 in the coualt room, the goal is to close a pit to take the winged key. Pressing the correct button opens a hidden door exposing a pressure plate on what an object must be thrown on it. Is west to the left when facing wall with buttons and your facing the middle button, i have tried all buttons, saw a wall open and thru a rock on the pressure plate but it didnt seem to close any pit?

With the right mouse button on the empty hand.(the monster push back)

If i remember correctly there is multiple path, dain path, neta, etc you have to activated the differents hidden switch in this room. There is a long way to go back to it and the best is to start by the dain path otherwise you'll have to travel a lot

Hi thanks for the prompt reply have sorted that bit.
But i still cannot get the Corbum from the pillar on the ROS path i have pushed the button behind the fake wall, but the pits do not open and close they are staying open and i cannot get the corbum from the pillar as all the pits are open. I have checked everything and gone back to a save game and to the this part again, but sitill when i push the button the pits do not start opening and closing they STAY open HEEEEELLLLP

for the " read glow round the edge of the screen"
You have to drink water with waterskins or flasks which you have to fill with a fountain.
There's 4 blue tooltips on the top left corner of the screen, you can toggle them on-off with either "G" or "H" keys if i remember correctly.
To drink you simply have to right click the item.

Hi Can you please help I am on the ROS path and am in the area to get the ROS Corbum, everytime i take a step there is a read glow round the edge of the screen as though my characters arent well. Also when i push the button behind the hidden wall the pits do nothing , they do no start to open and close and i am stuck. HEEEEEEELLLP please

Got it. I'm on the path of Ros, now. :)

I'm playing the remake of "Chaos Strikes Back". Now, I'm in the DDD and can't enter the path of Ros (the Ninja path). I don't know how to close the pit to get to the 4 briicks in the wall and the teleporter behind them. It looks like the normal solution of the old game is not working in the remake.

There is a button in a brick right one floor north from the pit. But it doesn't deactivate or activate the teleporter in the south. If I let monsters step on the pressure plate, which is directly in the teleporter, does not work.

This is the last way I must take and hope someone can help me. :)

tu cliques sur le bouton abonné , tu lances le jeu tu choisi custom dungeon, tu le vois en grisé dans la liste, tu attend qu'il se charge, tu le selectionne et tu peux jouer avec,
Mais il vaut mieux déjà commencer par back into the dungeon qui est plus facile avant de faire chaos strikes back qui une suite très difficile.

Escaped from the best dungeons, but this one is too random. No reason to do anything. Just push this and that and go around in circles. And that's after beating the original years ago. Spent way too much time on this trying to figure stuff out. Nice effort though!

I can't give this a thumbs up for some reason, wish this was originally released for the PC years back.

Brilliant work!

Click with the look picks (7 times) on the key locks to open the iron door,
you should hear the sound key locks
everything works fine for me.

A Skeleton Key or Lock Picks (used 7 times) will open the door but Lock Picks will also activate the Demon generator.

How do you use lockpicks? I'm at the eastern end of Level 0, where lockpicks are supposed to work (if used 7 times), and they are doing nothing.

just like bunking of school all over again in '87 to play DM and CSB for hours and hours, i used to use the cheetah 125 joystick plugged into the mouse port with a book resting on the fire button with auto fire enabled with the mouse pointer on 'punch' just to get grandmaster levels on ninja stat lol, took hours to do all characters,..still believe DM and Elite are the best games ever made by man, even today! infact i only bought grimlock just to play this DM and CSB mod, my thanks to you for your awesome repro of a timeless classic :-p

This is awesome, many thanks. I somehow finished both DM and CSB with my Atari ST back in the ice age, this mod captures the essence of CSB, extremely hard and annoying :D

Whenever I want to start it in custom maps, it says: "downloading". After a minute it disappears from the list. Any suggestions?
