Ok. I did accept the request so you can let me know how it goes.
FurpGurp 13 apr om 11:56vm
I'm gonna try one last thing that for some reason I never bothered to try. :P
Also, I sent you a friend request cause I figure we should just use the chat instead of spamming the comments section here. :3
DEvasto  [auteur] 13 apr om 11:46vm
I've never been able to find a fire sword myself, despite adjusting the level-lists a bunch. But, that's neither here nor there. I'd suggest one final console test, and that'd be "help spam" (without the quotes.) If *nothing* comes up even with that, then the mod is 100% for sure not active.

It's entirely possible, if you're sure it's active, the mod didn't download completely when you first subbed, and that's causing all sorts of trouble. You could try unsubbing from the mod, open the default launcher to let it do its thing, close the launcher and re-sub, then open the launcher again and let it cook for a bit.
FurpGurp 13 apr om 11:28vm
Well I couldn't find the Death Scythe as well, and no matter how many giants I kill I can't find the Flame Sword, so I'm just assuming the other weapons aren't in.
And I tried every possible console command to find the weapon, and nothing. :c
Your other mods work, just not this one. ):
DEvasto  [auteur] 12 apr om 10:17nm
Didn't come up in the console, I'm guessing? If so, I'd check the Data Files section on the default launcher, just to make absolutely sure the mod's active. It also might not've come up 'cause you misspelled something; make sure to type the command exactly (including the quotes), or alternately just do: help hoe.

While I'm at it, do you have any of the other weapons in the mod, or have you been chiefly gunning for the Hoe?
FurpGurp 12 apr om 3:31nm
Couldn't find it~ :c
DEvasto  [auteur] 12 apr om 1:04nm
No problem, lemme know how things work out.
FurpGurp 11 apr om 7:56nm
But I did launch the default launcher, and it would load. :o
I'll try the console thing, thanks~ c:
DEvasto  [auteur] 11 apr om 7:38vm
Try putting:

help "hoe of destruction"

into the console and see if it comes up. If it does, the mod's active and you might've just been looking in the wrong places, but if it *doesn't* show up then that means the mod didn't get activated. That can happen if you sub to a mod and go straight into the game via the SKSE launcher, since Workshop mods require you to open the default launcher in order for the mods to download & install.
FurpGurp 11 apr om 3:00vm
This mod isn't working for me. :c
All your other mods work (and by all, I mean Darkness, Infinity, Silmeri, and the Blackrock Sword, basically the ones I subscribed) except this one. :(
How do I know this? I can't find the Hoe of Destruction at all no matter how hard I try. D:
What's going on? ; n ;

Beautiful! I am an Ultima nut (played them all, but started with 4 in high school) My favourite RPG of all time is U7 (all 4 parts). Skyrim has become my second. To have both together...

RIP Dupre.

Infinity.
Sam Suphit 22 mrt om 12:29nm
so, perhaps, but the first impression is the screenshots, if the images are not correct, many doubt, I tell you this from experience.,but i have no say bad work,it's good job!
DEvasto  [auteur] 22 mrt om 7:26vm
Hmm...you know, it might not be neither 2 or 3 you're remembering, but 4. Four was when Sosaria (as the land was called in 1-3) became Britannia, and putting stones into statues likely had something to do with becoming an Avatar.
drach 22 mrt om 5:50vm
It was the first time they showed the whole continent of Britannia. There were these stones we had to put into statues, I am not sure, but I think we recieved abilities from puting the stones in the statues. I remember very little. It was 2 or 3, I did buy 7, but the system I had was too old, and playing it was not as fun as the older.

I only really remember something was important with the butcher (probably because we did need to eat) and killing pirates (I think they were pirates) and makinbg my first skiff.
DEvasto  [auteur] 21 mrt om 9:28nm
Ultima 2 and 3 are quite old; 2 is Revenge of the Enchantress and 3 is Exodus, and were released in the early 80's. 7 is the Black Gate and was in the early 90's. 7 is actually where the Black Sword showed up in the Forge of Virtue expansion. Y'might've had all three of those and sort of skipped over 4-6.

@Sam: Some of the screenshots are old and show the old textures, which for a lot of the weapons have changed, and yeah those old textures aren't the greatest. But, lemme tell ya, if that's bad to you haven't seen truly bad textures. Also, I'm using an ENB so how they look in the screens isn't necessarily how they'll look in your game.
drach 21 mrt om 5:32nm
I loved Ultima, I can't remember which one I had, I wanna say 2 or 3, but maybe 7, that was a long time ago.
Sam Suphit 21 mrt om 1:04nm
i thinks texture so bad,but good work
DEvasto  [auteur] 21 mrt om 10:38vm
Thanks to the Workshop update that removed the 100mb limit, I've been able to update AoU to 1.4! Bunch of changes, fixes and LOTS new weapons! Drive it home today!
Shaminar the Dragon 21 feb om 11:20nm
You need the Spoony version of the Avatar to make this complete!

"I'm the God damn Avatar, I'm literally the Christ figure of your religion and this cock hydrant doesn't even know who I am?!?!?" (points at the Count who had him arrested)
DEvasto  [auteur] 25 nov 2014 om 9:57vm
Hm, might be it was keyed in wrong. Try doing help magebane and see if that comes up at all.
ABlazingRasta 24 nov 2014 om 4:30nm
I found ID for the glass sword but when i try to give one to me it says invalid inventory item
DEvasto  [auteur] 24 nov 2014 om 9:36vm
Usually that means the mod's not active or, to a lesser extent, you're mispelling the name of the weapon. A real test as to whether the mod's active or not is to do help "glass sword". Unless you have a weapon variant mod, at least two glass swords should crop up with that, one being the vanilla sword and the other the Ultima glass sword (which would be identifiable by it's id, XX00FFE0).
ABlazingRasta 24 nov 2014 om 7:53vm
I typed the command that you listed for ID ( help "whatever weapon name etc") and nothing comes up
DEvasto  [auteur] 23 nov 2014 om 8:15nm
Gernally I don't accept friend requests from people I don't know. But, that side, what sorta problem are ya having?
ABlazingRasta 23 nov 2014 om 7:32nm
I have a problem with the console command to find IDs, tried to friend to ask for help
DEvasto  [auteur] 16 nov 2014 om 4:30nm
I have considered it, in fact I very much would like to make some armor for AoU here, Ultima has some special armor after all. But, armor is kinda complex, not just from a modeling standpoint but getting it jivving with the game as well, what with vertex weighting and all that jazz to make sure the model doesn't end up looking like a Lovecraftian mess. I might try sometime though since I'm a bit more confident in my modeling ability, after having making a couple guns for Fallout New Vegas/
MLGwaytoheaven 16 nov 2014 om 11:54vm
Once again, amazing and excellent job. I've been using your snazzy mods since the infinity sword. The community needs more modders like yourself. Quick question, have you ever considered doing armor? I think with your style and approach, you could make something pretty damn special.
golden freddy 31 okt 2014 om 9:45vm
i found one of the swords and it was the sword of defense
Unholy_Blades 23 okt 2014 om 2:07nm
ok thanks :)
DEvasto  [auteur] 23 okt 2014 om 2:02nm
Yeah, the Dragonslayer's ID is XX00331D. You'll have to use the help command or wrye bash or something in order to find out the load order digits (those being the XX). I did have a link to a text file listing the IDs and locations but it got disabled.
Unholy_Blades 23 okt 2014 om 1:39nm
can you put down ID's for this
DEvasto  [auteur] 23 okt 2014 om 9:21vm
I think, in this version, it's in the area of that table with a couple of dead draugr lying on it alongside a couple potions. If it's nowhere to be found there either it glitched through the ground or it's up in the tower where you find the Withershins book. I don't remember if I moved it to the Withershins tower or not so if you can't find a sign of it anywhere in Arcwind Point, I'll provide the ID since it's likely in that case the terrain ate it.
golden freddy 23 okt 2014 om 6:00vm
i know where arcwind point is but where is the sword in it
DEvasto  [auteur] 22 okt 2014 om 11:21nm
I felt it was a little obvious, but that's just me. It's referring to Arcwind Point.
golden freddy 22 okt 2014 om 6:45nm
it does not make much sense
DEvasto  [auteur] 20 okt 2014 om 4:47nm
The name is pretty much right there in the phrase, actually. One would just need to do a little rearrangement.
Unholy_Blades 20 okt 2014 om 4:45nm
i dont get it maybe the the throat of the world
DEvasto  [auteur] 20 okt 2014 om 3:51nm
It's a hint to the name of the sword's location.
golden freddy 20 okt 2014 om 11:34vm
i found the hint in sky haven temple but what does it mean by where the wind arcs
Unholy_Blades 17 sep 2014 om 11:22vm
thank you so much
DEvasto  [auteur] 16 sep 2014 om 11:21nm
Both fire swords are level-listed, not anywhere in the game world, so they'd show up in chest loot and such.
Unholy_Blades 16 sep 2014 om 6:55nm
Can i have the exact location of the blue flame sword please ive been looking forever
DEvasto  [auteur] 14 jul 2014 om 8:41vm
Some weapons are level-listed, but the more unique ones have been placed in the world. There's a hint in Sky Haven Temple for one of them, but the others will require some searching.
Tristan 14 jul 2014 om 1:03vm
where i can find it???
DEvasto  [auteur] 20 jun 2014 om 3:59nm
Some are level listed, others you can find in the world, and one is craftable. Glass swords, the wands, staves, fire swords and swords of defense are level-listed, while the Magebane, Death Scythe, Hoe of Destruction, and the Dragonslayer are found in the world. Glass swords are craftable but they require peer gems and a fairly high smithing skill in order to do so.
paizuriprincess 19 jun 2014 om 11:39nm
And how do I acquire these exactly?
DEvasto  [auteur] 28 mei 2014 om 4:57nm
Runes could be held in hand, to some extent, they'd basically have to be a shield if they were to be held. Moonstones not so much 'cause they're pretty small and no animation exists for just holding something, but they'd make nice decorations. I did have thoughts a long time back about making a functional Orb of the Moons, but that'd be tricky to pull off.

Also, if you don't mind the Nexus, I released an update to the Nexus version of AoU that adds new weapons and fixes. If I could, I'd put it here on the workshop, but files have a 100 meg limit and to reach that I'd have to compress and downscale all the textures, and even then it might not be enough.
westingtyler 28 mei 2014 om 3:40vm
Instant download. Gotta check out your other sword mod. I want to see runes and moonstones added, even if just for decoration. You should be able to hold them in your hand, like in the opening of Ultima VI, and they should have cool hi res engraved textures. An black moonstone came in the box with my Ultima VI, and random people got runes as well, like for a contest. It would be awesome to collect them in game, even if they are hidden well and not craftable. Now those are some collectibles I would scour Skyrim for!
huthbruth 13 apr 2014 om 9:19vm
thank mate
DEvasto  [auteur] 12 apr 2014 om 7:45vm
M'kay, well the standard fire sword is XX0063A8, while the blue fire sword is XX00A44D. The "XX" denotes the load order number, which you can find out with Wrye Bash or by typing help "fire sword" into the console, with the quotes around fire sword, to see their ID numbers.
