Thank you for playing dven1

Very nice map with entertaining puzzles. I got the first one all on my own but must confess I was stumped until I read your little hint in here. I had already tried that in a simpler way but knowing what was needed pushed me to finally see the solution.

I am an Epica fan. The song is called "Our Destiny" I may not like all there music but they have some very good music that rings well with me... As for my maps it was a learning curve for me. My earlier ones may not be that good. My later ones are better. Some may consider my puzzles too difficult...
Zoraya  [author] Sep 3, 2015 @ 12:07pm
Thanks Spaceminnow for the video, I enjoyed watching it! Perfect solution and a great background music (what´s the name of the song?)
I´ve added your video to the description. I´ve seen on your profile that you have some maps too. Let me know if there are some you´d like to recommend me to play.
Spaceminnow Sep 3, 2015 @ 9:32am
I am a Star Trek fan too. The puzzles in this map are very good. Especially the exit puzzle. The turrets are harmless if handled correctly :) I liked this map so much I made a solution video :D

Thanks The Dr. Will See You Now for playing and your honest opinion! I really appreciate it, as it is rarely that people give reasons why the downvote a map, although this would help to improve a map.
The upper part isn´t actually harder than the first part and it´s not supposed to be frustrating. You don´t have to fight with the turrets. Sometimes we just don´t see the one crucial piece (happens to me often and it helps to sleep over it). If you like to give it another try, here is a hint Use the funnel to get the laser cube. There´s a video in the description too that show the solution.

I want to first begin by saying that I love Star Trek, its the whole reason why I wanted to test your chamber. I have to be honest with you, it was not good. While I did enjoy the look of the enterprise when I saw it at the beginning, I didn't enjoy the difficult. I never got passed the second part with the turrets. The difficulty of a test chamber should never exceed that of the actual game itself from the developers of Valve. If you were to redesign it to be more friendly, I might re-evalute it again. But as it is right now, I will have to give it a thumbs down.

Hi stormsend, nice to see you! Thanks for playing. I´ll check out your workshop too as soon as I find the time to play.
stormsend Aug 21, 2015 @ 2:55am
That was a stimulating experience. Enjoyable while taxing the gray cells (or green if you're Vulcan I guess). Darn turrets held me up from accomplishing my mission but as soon as I found my phaser I dispatched them. Nice engineering and well built ship. Thank you for the tour. I'm looking forward to your next one.

Ha! Absolutely Brilliant! Loved the Enterprise and the puzzles. Very tricky process to get the cube from the double bouncing faith plates! Thanks!

Top quality again, Really have to think and explore to complete your maps, Enjoyed,Thank you.
Chelliste Oct 19, 2014 @ 6:32pm
For me the bottom level was harder, but both were thinkers. The turrets, well, they were there to be burned. So I burned 'em. With my phaser. i mean laser. There was no "stun" setting, so... The ship architecture was wonderful. Now I have to see if part 2 is in a different part of the ship.

This is a great idea! My mind is already realing with ways to blend content from "shows/games/sci-fi" with the portal style puzzles and problem solving.

Thank you for playing, Yavie, I appreciate it and am glad that you enjoyed the challenges!
Yavie Dec 21, 2013 @ 9:56pm
WOWOW... that was fantastic!! Took my brain way too long on some of those puzzles, and had lots of "oh duuuh" moments. Wish I could have explored the ship, though (;

Very very good map. Takes some thought to work out solutions. Thanks. I just don't get tired of playing this game!!
Zoraya  [author] Sep 20, 2013 @ 12:21pm

Thanks, machmanx, I´m glad you enjoyed playing!
Zoraya  [author] Sep 20, 2013 @ 12:18pm
Really hate working, I had another concept for the part outside including travelling around and finding a way to get into the enterprise, but it wasn´t viable because of the item limitation.
Ohterwise, I would have to reduce the puzzle elements, so I decided to leave the entry part with the faith plates.
Thanks for playing!
machmanx Sep 19, 2013 @ 10:27pm
*sigh* This is EXACTLY why I told Geordi that he needs to upgrade the antivirus software from Ferengi Anti-crap Basic to Ferengi Anti-crap Latinum version. The basic one doesn't account for hostile AIs. And now look at the Enterprise: It's all blocky and sh!+

This was a decent chamber. It had some challenge but I got through. Would've loved to see more but that would require a lot more work and much bigger chamber. Great job on this!
1980 Sep 18, 2013 @ 4:43pm
This was very fun to proceed. But one thing that I'm not satisfied with is that players do not have enough time to travel around the entire map even though you constituted a lot of huge things to enjoy. From very the moment players tread the first faith jump plate, they're subject to solving the puzzles you put in. Isn't there any way to travel round the outter parts?
Zoraya  [author] Sep 16, 2013 @ 12:29pm
@sjm28 @gambilier, thanks for playing!
Zoraya  [author] Sep 16, 2013 @ 12:28pm
Fatso, thanks again for your feedback!
gambilier Sep 15, 2013 @ 8:44am
Nice chamber, I liked it
sjm28 Sep 13, 2013 @ 7:45pm
This is an outstanding chamber Zoraya. I solved the first room quite a bit differently than you did in the video, and in the second room I used the faith plate to jump up onto the light bridge with the cube.
Tony Sep 13, 2013 @ 4:02pm
That isn't how I did it.

Your way works, 100% of the time

I tried to use the funnel to move the box to the high point, and then change the position of the box so it fell and hopefully bounced to the slanted surface, didnt occur to me to use the free fall of the cube to get it, like your video shows. Goos stuff indeed!
Zoraya  [author] Sep 13, 2013 @ 3:49pm
Tony, the 2nd room is a bit tricky indeed.
I´ve just added a video with a complete walkthrough, maybe you take a look at it and try again.
Thanks for playing and I hope you enjoyed it.
Zoraya  [author] Sep 13, 2013 @ 3:48pm
Thanks to all for playing and commenting!
kimist108 Sep 13, 2013 @ 3:38pm
Nice. Tony, while you are in the funnel, look very closely at surfaces. You are missing a very important portable surface.
Tony Sep 13, 2013 @ 2:48pm
Not sure how to solve the last room. Ended up sitting in the blue funnel to get an angle to try to drop the box onto the slanted surface so it hits the button. Took too long. Not sure if this is the way - if it is, shit puzzle. If it isn't advise me the correct way and ill do it again :)

First bit was good!
