my favourite skyrim mod of all time!

This mod is amazing to the person who said "do not get, it is dead and if you do get it you will never be able to remove it" Of course you cant get rid of it its to good to get rid of. Also its not completely dead dude is working on a 2.0 last I heard. So in the meantime this amazing version is a great hold over.

So i hope the things are the same but my bad habit of selling any books in inventory that are not locked strikes again i want the book describing the companion classes like knight ect. But i sold it anyone know the id code?

A superb mod I've had for the past year or so, and I've yet to experience the slightest problem with it. As for those saying it's "dead" and that if you get it you'll "never be able to remove it," I'd have to ask why anyone would ever want to remove it in the first place!

looks like a kool mod but its been 7+yrs since updating

mod seems to be havving trouble the npcs are not spawning in the castle

I absolutely love it, but unfortunately it has been causing some major issues in my game so I have to remove it. I would still recomend it if people have a better PC then me.

i love the mod i cant get out of the castel if i am so stuck to it just playing housers in the castles to organize my stuff so good

For those saying that the guards don't spawn with anything equipped, you have to donate some of your stuff. You can do this in the customizing chamber found via the small pond with the dragon statue in it, located in the throne room. Look for the chain on the chest of the dragon statue, pull it, then swim towards the metal grate inside the pond. Inside the customizing chamber you will have to look for the room with the mannequins. Each pair (male/female) will be adorned with a banner showing a class symbol indicating what type of combatant they are. You will have equip each mannequin with the gear that you desire for each class and gender of combatant. As an example, if you gave a full set of armor to the male swordsman mannequin, along with a sword and shield, then all male guards of the castle should be equipped with the same items, but the other guards will still have nothing on them.

Same thing is happening to me, they don't have anything equipped.

The mod is amazing, but there was a problem, the guards do not have armor and any equipment.

SBX's last activity on Nexus was almost 4 years ago, when he uploaded SBC ver. 1.44

I think he abadoned this mod or modding completely.

Its an butifull mod espacialy the vault is nicely disignd, i am afraid its to big for my taste i like the sise of lake view but again you did a great job of designing this mod and i whis you well in youre career witsh i hope is game disign i like to see more of youre work

Are you ever going to finish the mod, hollow groves and such.

The set up between the steam version and the one on the nexus are so different. I like the one on the nexus except the steward is missing, where she is where she is supposed to on the steam version. Is it possible to catch the steam version up to where the one on the nexus is?

@Ataroth Unfortunately this mMod is not Family Friendly I was hoping SBX could fix that.

and one more thing, monster companions got out of the cages and now they're killing each other. some way to get them back? great mod btw :D

please how to move my family (wife and daughter) into this castle? or it isnt player home?

This is a gorgeous castle and a lot of work went into it, you can tell. Up voting and favoriting, though I won't be using it for now. It is too big for general use, but if someone were doing a video series set in the game, this would be an awesome structure to include.

@TAZER your rings and necklaces are in the boxes where you do your enchanting. Rings on one sides Necklaces on other side. I recommend not making rings and necklaces in this mod till the bug is fixed. Use one of your homes you get from the Jarl instead. Problem is the auto sorting seems to remove all jewlery you make in the castle and you have to retrieve them from the boxes on the enchanting table each time. (rings, necklaces ect) I love the auto sort especially when I have a ton of stuff on me I just hate remembering to get my rings and neck items before I leave the castle. or you end up in a fight without them.

oh and im using special edition instead of OG skyrim

im having a strange occurence...whenevery i load my save back up these two guys (i forgot their names) tell me to do as im instructed and make a new game and then they kick me out of my game. i looked up everywhere and no one seems to encounter this yet. plz help i love this mod

I've had this mod for years and I love it. It is the best mod in this category. You will not find a better mod than this.

I just want to say as a person who is really picky about my player homes and love exploring and seeing new ones, no one will find a better mod than this one. This player home is genuinely the best, biggest and coolest one you will find one steam.

It has not been abandoned, PEople have lives you know, And sometimes things can take time to repair.

Pretty sad that this has been abandoned, still really cool though.

Any other mods it has a conflict with, or needs to work ?
I re-installed Skyrim, into having Dragonborn, Dawnguard and this mod...
And it still crashes for me

@Dad just turn it off . you can turn the lair off you don't even have to buy the animals

@Dad, That is 100% an issue with your Mods, Not the castle.

Is there any version without the lair? It always makes my game crash, and creatures are always fighting each other ):

i love this mod ,and i love the treasure room

you do have spells that will enable you to cast a spell from anywhere and within your castle. I use these spells to escape dungeons. I never teleport to my castle I just use one of my spells and PoOf i am there.

I cant deposit/withdraw from the treasure hoard.

@TAZER They are super tiny and they are in a small rectangular bowl near the Ring/Amulet maker. Same room agienst the wall. SUPER tiny so look carefully.

does anybody know where your rings and amulets are when you have done smithing them. i cant find it

I have had this mod since it first came out. The only complaint i have is "Don't over load your Metalsmith with smelting. You will lock yourself out the Forge and have to go back to your last save before you entered the forge to get back in.

I've actually never experienced this and i have been using his mod from day one so this is news to me!

@Squeakers @Xelriel actually its completely normal, the fountain infront of the throne has a switch that will open a way to a customization room, inside there are manicans you can give armor to and they will appear on the naked people afterwards, and if friggin's awesome

@Squeakers, That is a problem with your mod load order and or a mod overwriting parts of this mod, It has nothing to do with this mod alone.

Everyone in this mod appears to be naked. Any fixes?

Hi love the mod and hoping for more updates in the future for this mod! Just one little thing: can u tell me where arrows goes when auto sorting them? I cant find them anywhere in the Amory or Sanctum of War???
