Love anything with hexes.
アガーコブ 28 jan, 2014 @ 11:35
We need more super hexagon games.
DrBrogbo 25 jan, 2014 @ 21:31
Just beat Hexcells and purchased Plus. Fantastic game! I'd love to see this on Steam.

It would really be fantastic if you could figure out an algorithm for randomly generated levels, but I loved it as is anyways.
availableusername 22 jan, 2014 @ 11:32
I loved both hexcells and hexcells plus, especially the latter. Wouldn't say no to a third part or some kind of level pack at some point either! :)

Got this game through Indie Royale and I really enjoyed it; once you get the hang of it (it's very easy to follow) it's both fun and challenging. Would appreciate some harder levels though!
Mhmmm 17 jan, 2014 @ 9:25
It's similar to minesweeper. I like it!

@bb10 - Steam version with achievements should be ready in a few weeks.

@Nohl Toli - Could you email me with the details of the bug and your system specs and I'll see if I can sort it out. (matthew.brown.mail AT gmail.com)

Cheers,
Matthew

Brilliant puzzle game
bb10 16 jan, 2014 @ 18:39
So when is it coming to steam?
default_loser 16 jan, 2014 @ 18:00
Just played this straight through after getting it last night. As a Picross fan, I loved it. LOVED IT.
Dragonborn 16 jan, 2014 @ 14:32
Please add achievements and trading cards support for this game!!
Nohl Toli 16 jan, 2014 @ 9:54
I love the concept, but it's pretty buggy for me. If I click a hex to soon after moving my mouse to it it'll record it as a mistake. If I wait a second and click the same mouse button, it'll act like it should.
tim 15 jan, 2014 @ 16:36
siddNullus: You're not mistaken. Minesweeper + picross, basically.
tim 15 jan, 2014 @ 16:35
Though it was a little bit easy, I just completed it 100% (in about 90 minutes, or so) Still well worth the $3 :D
siddNullus 15 jan, 2014 @ 12:47
Am I mistaken, or are the mechanics similar to Minesweeper?
tim 15 jan, 2014 @ 11:10
Just bought it, looks amazing and is just what I want... more puzzles to the people!!
golem XIV 15 jan, 2014 @ 8:43
Beutiful game.
goodwithcomputr 12 jan, 2014 @ 19:29
One of the best puzzle games I've played in ages. It gets progressively more complex at just the right pace--would not hesitate to buy again.
machineabuse 6 jan, 2014 @ 21:13
This game seems to be perpetually stuck on the greenlight queue.
Puddin' 28 dec, 2013 @ 11:14
I am in love. Well worth an immediate purchase.
chronolexical 21 dec, 2013 @ 13:58
Received this as a gift. Played it straight through and immediately bought Hexcells Plus. Interface could use some improvement, but solid concept and gameplay. Easily worth 3$.
rL 13 dec, 2013 @ 16:02
Got this game via gamer.no. Its amazing!
Stinkflipper Incarnate 13 dec, 2013 @ 9:27
Holy moly, Hexcell Plus is tough! I just completed 3-6, and my brain nearly melted. "If that one is, then that one is and that one isn't, but if that one is then that one needs to be too, so that one can't be..."
Gerald 13 dec, 2013 @ 3:52
For those of us that can't get enough of Hexcells: The developer has just released Hexcells Plus (www.matthewbrowngames.com) for only 3 Bucks! Be warned: it is much more difficult than the original, but even more brilliant. Matthew Brown, you are obviously a genius.
gingerfreak 12 dec, 2013 @ 13:21
Why would I buy it? 3 letters: RPS.
Adventure Square 11 dec, 2013 @ 19:30
Oops! I bought it already.
bonuswavepilot 11 dec, 2013 @ 2:47
This is a great game - only criticism is that I blasted through it all too quickly and was sad there were no more levels. It is a bit minesweeper-ish, but with other mechanics coming into play which are more akin to sudoku or picross, and it doesn't need to involve any guesswork, you can always figure out the progression from the clues.
LycaonPictus 6 dec, 2013 @ 10:05
Looks neat! I like that it's thoughtful and slow.
the.man.rules 5 dec, 2013 @ 8:29
Hope this ets approved. Can't wait to play it.
kanthall 27 nov, 2013 @ 9:57
I've made a YouTube video about this game:

Frost Askar 14 nov, 2013 @ 15:10
Confusing trailer, IMO. Are you placing the numbers, like in minesweeper? Or are you just clicking and unveiling?
[P²] FogDog 21 okt, 2013 @ 18:36
@Gerlad minesweeper
Aurinko 20 okt, 2013 @ 14:21
Not sure. Linux support was the deciding factor here, so Yes.
Gerald 12 okt, 2013 @ 14:23
This game is awesome. Does anyone have similar recommendations?
haekel 11 okt, 2013 @ 9:36
Could be nice; thanks for linux support.
Quad 3 okt, 2013 @ 3:30
Like Hexagons & Puzzles ! so why not :)
redzrex 1 okt, 2013 @ 10:36
it looks like minesweeper in hexagon but i don't see any bomb and what I see is you just randomly clicked anywhere to finish it.
Woland 30 sep, 2013 @ 5:28
Very interesting logic game!
Ivan Stroganov 28 sep, 2013 @ 14:04
this, much like minesweeper, i just don't undersatnd..
Asriel Dreemurr 28 sep, 2013 @ 9:41
Wow, cool logic game )
gigfizz 28 sep, 2013 @ 5:55
Bought and finished - beautiful and absorbing puzzle game. This is not a minesweeper clone, there multiple mechanics introduced as you progress, and the synergy between music and gameplay make it a true ambient logic game.

Just like English Country Tune, there will be no guessing at all if the player meditates on the puzzle - every single move has a logical solution. Definitely worth the tiny purchase price.
Subdued War 28 sep, 2013 @ 3:32
Bought and played through all of this and it's great, but I had a terrible time trying to trace the diagonals. Perhaps if you added a faint hex grid to the background it would help. That, and the ability to hold down a key to destroy hexes. Right clicking on my trackpad needs two fingers, and it's easy to accidentally left click and ruin a perfect game.
sbnstar 26 sep, 2013 @ 20:38
Bought this after reading the review on RPS. I hope this (and the Matthew Brown's other game, Sentinel) gets Greenlit!
Dr. Watts 26 sep, 2013 @ 8:12
Looks Cool!
