Love anything with hexes.
アガーコブ Jan 28, 2014 @ 11:35am
We need more super hexagon games.
DrBrogbo Jan 25, 2014 @ 9:31pm
Just beat Hexcells and purchased Plus. Fantastic game! I'd love to see this on Steam.

It would really be fantastic if you could figure out an algorithm for randomly generated levels, but I loved it as is anyways.
availableusername Jan 22, 2014 @ 11:32am
I loved both hexcells and hexcells plus, especially the latter. Wouldn't say no to a third part or some kind of level pack at some point either! :)
실버 지느러미 Jan 18, 2014 @ 9:18am
Got this game through Indie Royale and I really enjoyed it; once you get the hang of it (it's very easy to follow) it's both fun and challenging. Would appreciate some harder levels though!
Mhmmm Jan 17, 2014 @ 9:25am
It's similar to minesweeper. I like it!
Matthew Brown  [author] Jan 17, 2014 @ 8:39am
@bb10 - Steam version with achievements should be ready in a few weeks.

@Nohl Toli - Could you email me with the details of the bug and your system specs and I'll see if I can sort it out. (matthew.brown.mail AT

Brilliant puzzle game
bb10 Jan 16, 2014 @ 6:39pm
So when is it coming to steam?
default_loser Jan 16, 2014 @ 6:00pm
Just played this straight through after getting it last night. As a Picross fan, I loved it. LOVED IT.
Dragonborn Jan 16, 2014 @ 2:32pm
Please add achievements and trading cards support for this game!!
Nohl Toli Jan 16, 2014 @ 9:54am
I love the concept, but it's pretty buggy for me. If I click a hex to soon after moving my mouse to it it'll record it as a mistake. If I wait a second and click the same mouse button, it'll act like it should.
tim Jan 15, 2014 @ 4:36pm
siddNullus: You're not mistaken. Minesweeper + picross, basically.
tim Jan 15, 2014 @ 4:35pm
Though it was a little bit easy, I just completed it 100% (in about 90 minutes, or so) Still well worth the $3 :D
siddNullus Jan 15, 2014 @ 12:47pm
Am I mistaken, or are the mechanics similar to Minesweeper?
tim Jan 15, 2014 @ 11:10am
Just bought it, looks amazing and is just what I want... more puzzles to the people!!
golem XIV Jan 15, 2014 @ 8:43am
Beutiful game.
goodwithcomputr Jan 12, 2014 @ 7:29pm
One of the best puzzle games I've played in ages. It gets progressively more complex at just the right pace--would not hesitate to buy again.
machineabuse Jan 6, 2014 @ 9:13pm
This game seems to be perpetually stuck on the greenlight queue.
Puddin' Dec 28, 2013 @ 11:14am
I am in love. Well worth an immediate purchase.
chronolexical Dec 21, 2013 @ 1:58pm
Received this as a gift. Played it straight through and immediately bought Hexcells Plus. Interface could use some improvement, but solid concept and gameplay. Easily worth 3$.
rL Dec 13, 2013 @ 4:02pm
Got this game via Its amazing!
Stinkflipper Incarnate Dec 13, 2013 @ 9:27am
Holy moly, Hexcell Plus is tough! I just completed 3-6, and my brain nearly melted. "If that one is, then that one is and that one isn't, but if that one is then that one needs to be too, so that one can't be..."
Gerald Dec 13, 2013 @ 3:52am
For those of us that can't get enough of Hexcells: The developer has just released Hexcells Plus ( for only 3 Bucks! Be warned: it is much more difficult than the original, but even more brilliant. Matthew Brown, you are obviously a genius.
gingerfreak Dec 12, 2013 @ 1:21pm
Why would I buy it? 3 letters: RPS.
Adventure Square Dec 11, 2013 @ 7:30pm
Oops! I bought it already.
bonuswavepilot Dec 11, 2013 @ 2:47am
This is a great game - only criticism is that I blasted through it all too quickly and was sad there were no more levels. It is a bit minesweeper-ish, but with other mechanics coming into play which are more akin to sudoku or picross, and it doesn't need to involve any guesswork, you can always figure out the progression from the clues.
LycaonPictus Dec 6, 2013 @ 10:05am
Looks neat! I like that it's thoughtful and slow. Dec 5, 2013 @ 8:29am
Hope this ets approved. Can't wait to play it.
kanthall Nov 27, 2013 @ 9:57am
I've made a YouTube video about this game:
Frost Askar Nov 14, 2013 @ 3:10pm
Confusing trailer, IMO. Are you placing the numbers, like in minesweeper? Or are you just clicking and unveiling?
General SCALES Oct 21, 2013 @ 6:36pm
@Gerlad minesweeper
cass1opeia Oct 20, 2013 @ 2:21pm
Not sure. Linux support was the deciding factor here, so Yes.
Gerald Oct 12, 2013 @ 2:23pm
This game is awesome. Does anyone have similar recommendations?
haekel Oct 11, 2013 @ 9:36am
Could be nice; thanks for linux support.
Quad Oct 3, 2013 @ 3:30am
Like Hexagons & Puzzles ! so why not :)
redzrex Oct 1, 2013 @ 10:36am
it looks like minesweeper in hexagon but i don't see any bomb and what I see is you just randomly clicked anywhere to finish it.
Woland Sep 30, 2013 @ 5:28am
Very interesting logic game!
Ivan Stroganov Sep 28, 2013 @ 2:04pm
this, much like minesweeper, i just don't undersatnd..
Vova_Freeman Sep 28, 2013 @ 9:41am
Wow, cool logic game )
gigfizz Sep 28, 2013 @ 5:55am
Bought and finished - beautiful and absorbing puzzle game. This is not a minesweeper clone, there multiple mechanics introduced as you progress, and the synergy between music and gameplay make it a true ambient logic game.

Just like English Country Tune, there will be no guessing at all if the player meditates on the puzzle - every single move has a logical solution. Definitely worth the tiny purchase price.
Subdued War Sep 28, 2013 @ 3:32am
Bought and played through all of this and it's great, but I had a terrible time trying to trace the diagonals. Perhaps if you added a faint hex grid to the background it would help. That, and the ability to hold down a key to destroy hexes. Right clicking on my trackpad needs two fingers, and it's easy to accidentally left click and ruin a perfect game.
sbnstar Sep 26, 2013 @ 8:38pm
Bought this after reading the review on RPS. I hope this (and the Matthew Brown's other game, Sentinel) gets Greenlit!
Dr. Watts Sep 26, 2013 @ 8:12am
