They spawn only on fullmoons, but there is no ghost event and spirit torch in game yet:P

I think ghosts already spawn from dug up graves, at least on RoG, because I've dug graves, got the items, and a few days later noticed ghosts roaming the area when previously they hadn't been there.

Great mod...combines nicely with Dem Bones for full-service morbidity. I ended up tweaking the spawn rate and run speed though..first time I tried it, I got swarmed by 4-5 ghosts that could out run me the first time night fell.

In default game they can spawn when you dig up grave, and only once, they will never spawn from already dug up graves.

This is caused by a bug with nightlight in default game, I reported it some time ago, but I see they didn't fix that yet. For now just don't build torches I will report that bug again and see if something will happen.

Can't ignite Spirit Torches! Iam trying to fuel it with extoplasm or slime and it doesn't burs :<

It could be caused by caves, or graves are still spawning ghosts even if you are far away from them, and since mobs are inactive if you are far away they could multiply like that.

Ghosts never drop anything in default game, if you read somewhere, or someone told you that they drop nightmare fuel, it is not ture.
Drop rate for ectoplasm is quite low .2, I may change it in the next update.

I recently slew 5 Ghosts during the New Moon. Normally, Ghosts have a very small chance to drop Nightmare Fuel on being killed. I found none across the 5. In addition, not a single Ghost I have killed has dropped Ectoplasm. I am assuming that this mod made both old and new Ghost drops quite rare? If not, maybe there needs to be a small form of adjustment with the Ghosts dropping their items.

Ghosts spawned only once if you dug up grave, now ghost have chance to spawn from already dug up grave at every dusk.
Spirit Torch is expensive but if you build few of them all of them will ignite when you fuel just one of them, they don't drain sanity or spawn evil flowers.
Also some ghosts that spawn at dusk and on new moon will be faster than normal ghosts.

So now we need to be scared during the Full Moon AND New Moon? Well, its not a bad idea. You would think that the darkest nights IRL (the nights with a new moon) are bound to be the scariest and most dangerous involving supernatural stuff. I must admit though, Ghosts always had a chance to spawn from graves without this mod. There is no real reason to add that in description since its already in the game (unless the chance changed). Though, I always wanted to have something other than the Nightlight to produce light for me. The spirit torch is heck of an expensive item, made with different stuff and fuelable with different stuff. It should function different from a Nightlight... not draining sanity and transforming flowers into evil flowers.

This is SUCH A Good concept. with this, werepigs arn't the only thing to be worried about at full moon XD
