TheTrueSaiyanPrince Sep 22, 2014 @ 7:32pm
I'm glad this exists, now I don't have to worry about fires until the heat death of the universe... and then a bit longer.
OCCAM'S RAZOR Sep 7, 2014 @ 8:48pm
so helpful. now i don't have to check the fire every two seconds.
Subjecttochange Jul 18, 2014 @ 3:09pm

NeatWolf  [author] May 12, 2014 @ 1:44pm
Hi HatSatan, I'll probably going to release another dedicated mod of the "Godly" and "Infinite" series, I need to check a few things first, compatibility comes first :)
Priest of Pasta May 7, 2014 @ 5:38pm
Endothermic Fire and Endothermix Firepits should be included in this mod.
kerbal's a gonna Apr 17, 2014 @ 12:48am
thank you so much for them not extinguishing after sleeping
Sanic Apr 9, 2014 @ 9:06am
I tried it again and it worked. Just not sure what happened first time round
NeatWolf  [author] Apr 8, 2014 @ 11:08am
Tested with Reign of Giants, v0.4 is out!
@XenoWorm: I can't reproduce the issue, I'm using it with no mods and works just fine. Have you already tried building a fire pit *after* installing the mod? Please use the Private Comments to report any issue, thank you.
NeatWolf  [author] Apr 8, 2014 @ 10:05am
I have a few work deadlines to deal with (as you can see from my player's profile I can't even find the time to play), but I'll try to update Godly Fire+Extinguisher(not yet available) asap, I'm doing the upgrade right now, just be patient, I also have to figure out what has changed in the code of the game :)
Holy_Dogelord Apr 5, 2014 @ 8:04pm
@NeatWolf Does this works with reign of giants? Because, i want to play with dat mod! I Suck too much at this game.
Sanic Apr 5, 2014 @ 1:01am
This mod wont work with Reign Of Giants

EDIT: The torch works but fire pits will burn out
NeatWolf  [author] Mar 11, 2014 @ 7:53am
I'm going to make a third mod that extinguishes all fires with unusual length.
The MODding system doesn't allow to execute some code on uninstall, and I don't want to add complicated mechanics to douse the flames in the existing mods.
A way to douse an infinite fire is to destroy it (hammer and similar)
Hilary Clinton Open RP Mar 10, 2014 @ 10:05pm
is it possible to use 3rd party sources to change your day to 1 billion years in the future just to watch my campfire go out
Nibblemaniac Dec 29, 2013 @ 10:59pm
Well, seeing a tree on fire for days isn't right at all and probably could cause lag for those who don't have a very strong cpu. It would be wise to make it fizzle trees to a limit of time however, for Fire Pits and Tiki Poles, THOSE should be made infinite to make it work.
NeatWolf  [author] Dec 29, 2013 @ 7:54am
The mod is provided "as is" to provide infinite, fiery, fires (with all consequences), with a paragraph written in capitals in its description.
I may fork this mod into a "not-so-godly" contained Infinite Fire that provides infinite duration fires, and NO fire spreading, if you wish to, as soon as I can :)
Nibblemaniac Dec 28, 2013 @ 4:44pm
And about forest fires? Please explain a way to stop them. Lightning could light up an entire forest and crash your server quickly.
NeatWolf  [author] Dec 28, 2013 @ 2:42pm
@Nibblemaniac: I'm a supporter of well-balanced items, powers, and games in general as well, but Godly Fire (especially the Infinite version) hasn't been developed to be balanced ;)
So yes, Godly Fire could be "a little" OP for some, and Godly Fire Infinite is "probably" a bit OP for many :P
Nibblemaniac Dec 27, 2013 @ 12:51am
Can be very very OP. Due to the fact that you can set a whole forest on fire and crash your game.
Mordor005 Dec 24, 2013 @ 11:19am
LOL
carrionsucks Dec 20, 2013 @ 6:24am

NeatWolf  [author] Oct 13, 2013 @ 12:15pm
Hi Spotion, the mod doesn't change any of the files you listed. I suggest you to disable every mod except this and to start a new game. Then, I'd need a screenshot to pinpoint and fix the potential problem. Feel free to post a private comment with the details. :)
spotion Oct 12, 2013 @ 4:34pm
yea There's OnControll and update file problem.
This mod crashing when activate and begin to new game...
I tried to activated only this mod, but crashed everytime.

NeatWolf  [author] Sep 10, 2013 @ 4:45pm
UPDATE v0.3 (experimental): Works with latest patch - Fire pits and camp fires are now invulnerable to the forced extinction caused by sleeping - Mining lanterns and pumpkin lanterns should now last indefinitely, pumpkins also have 100hp (previously 1hp) - It is now easier to fuel fire to its maximum.

FINALLY AFTER MY LONG SEARCH AN INFINATE FIRE MOD!!!!!!!!!
NeatWolf  [author] Sep 10, 2013 @ 8:03am
@killergoonie: I'm testing a new patch to make Campfires and Firepits auto-restart after sleeping, I'll update the MOD as soon as I'm sure it's stable.
@Haku: As requested, newly created mining lanterns should soon have infinite duration in the next MOD update
Also, I'm about to make pumpking lanterns last indefinitely as well
BerproptGamer Sep 10, 2013 @ 4:01am
Nice
NeatWolf  [author] Sep 8, 2013 @ 2:25pm
Well, except for the version number, I doubt they changed the base structure for game balance tuning, hopefully it won't be hard to update to the new version, I'll see what I can do ^^
Haku Wuffamute Sep 8, 2013 @ 2:21pm
You should wait till the new update. None of your fire mods work on the update preview.
NeatWolf  [author] Sep 8, 2013 @ 2:20pm
I will look into that as well, I'll be publishing an update asap :)
Haku Wuffamute Sep 8, 2013 @ 1:48pm
Can you make lanterns infinite duration? So I can use them for decoration.
Killergoonie Sep 8, 2013 @ 7:10am
@NeatWolf: No problem. just trying to help out.
